Typically, Hailee wears light coloured tops or jumpers and dresses, along with leggings or skinny jeans underneath. She loves dolly shoes and sandals, along with necklaces and bracelets. In colder weather, it’s more likely to see her in ugg boots, slightly thicker leggings, and thick, woollen jumpers. Her trim of her uniform is navy blue (the same colour as her text).

"Trust me, ghosts aren’t as bad as you may think."

Image
{P E R S O N A L I T Y}
Hailee would rather be a ‘ghost’ than an ‘angel’, as she is referred to because of her codename. She likes to remain hidden from the public eye, staying locked up in her room and not letting anyone in. She isn’t a big fan of talking to strangers, but will open her heart to anyone that is willing to show her that they want to be her friend. She is extremely loyal and will do anything for someone that shows her friendship, even if it looks like she would much rather be alone, because inside, she doesn’t.
Hailee, although she appears to want to be alone, always appreciates company. As she is hard on herself and always blames herself for anything that goes wrong, she always appreciates a friend to take her mind off of things. She is extremely affectionate towards anyone who wishes to communicate with her, and always makes it her goal to help cheer anyone up who is in need of it. However, Hailee has severe depression and any form of distraction helps her immensely, and if she’s not in her room, she is most likely down in the Danger Room trying to train herself to deal with situations in the best possible way.
In conclusion, Hailee is a sweet girl, but doubts herself too much, and has put up walls around her emotions. However, deep down, she hopes that someone will help her break down those walls with her.
{P O W E R S}
Aether Manipulation – Energy drawn from the Aether dimension, typically known as the realm of the Divine, and is the opposite of the Nether. When Hailee uses it, it normally appears in the form of Light, and can be confused with Light Manipulation. Because of this, Hailee can use it to create light based illusions, and even bend it around her so she becomes invisible. Hailee’s skin also has a faint glow to it since her genes are infused with the stuff.
Energy Solidification – Hailee can make objects out of the energy drawn from the Aether, and make it solid.
Aether Teleportation – Hailee can open Portals to the Aether and then another out of it to a place of her choice. She normally accesses these through shadows and can only teleport with a radius of 10 miles.
Spirit Sense – Hailee can see and hear the dead who are in the form of Spirits. She can also share memories with them, which normally occur when she is asleep.
Telepathy – She can speak within other’s minds with her own voice, and hear direct thoughts back to her. This becomes easier when she has met them in person, or knows them very well. It can only be used in a 3 mile radius, and cannot hear thoughts people do not direct at her, meaning your secrets and past is safe.

{W E A K N E S S E S}
Hailee has severe depression, which can stop her from caring too much, and she can become a little bit reckless because of it.
Hailee sleeps very lightly, and frequently has nightmares because of the memory sharing from the Spirits. As many of them are memories of their final moments, Hailee has this transmitted to her and therefore she often runs on little sleep.
Hailee is deathly afraid of the dark and of large bodies of water. She hates working near them and if it gets bad enough, she can have panic attacks because of it.
She doesn’t have much control over her powers yet… So if you go through her Aether Portal, don’t be too sure where you’re going to come out. She also tends to transmit thoughts she doesn’t want people hearing, or cannot differentiate a Spirit from an actual person, and can get confused and frustrated if anyone says they cannot see the others.
Hailee also has very painful heart palpitations from time to time. These can be incapacitating and last for minutes to days.

{H I S T O R Y}
Hailee was born to Jennifer and Ashton Alcott in the middle of the countryside in England. She was thought to have not survived the pregnancy, but the child was born screaming. It soon became clear that she was not normal, however, and her parents theorized that something from Heaven had saved their daughter, as she talked with invisible beings, and when she asked them to show themselves, they did. Her parents dismissed this as a mutation, as they were highly religious people, and very anti-mutant.
Hailee lived a relatively normal life, although she was very solitary, even from a young age, and mostly outcast from the groups of people she came into contact with. She didn’t mind, though, as she talked to her ‘Invisible Friends’, driving the wedge even further apart between her and her classmates. Her parents, thinking she needed a distraction, started her playing piano, and later, horse riding. The contact with the animals and music helped, but did not stop the problem completely. Hailee soon learned that she should have hidden who she could see, as many of the girls soon turned on her as soon as they reached middle school, and one of the girl’s father got attacked. This sparked the ‘Anti-Mutant Movement’ in her hometown, and soon Hailee found herself singled out by everyone. Even her parents began to turn on her, suddenly becoming harsher and crueller.
When Hailee was fourteen, the person she adored the most was born. Her name was Evelinn, and she was the most wonderful person that Hailee had ever laid eyes on. She adored her younger sister, and loved her to the moon and back. She would rush home every day from the horrors of the public just to see her little sister. It was the brightest moments of her life.
However, that’s when the river incident happened.
On the way home from school, Hailee had to cross a bridge running over a deep, fast flowing river. It was in a desolate place and it was very dark in that area. On the day concerned, Hailee was followed home by a group of girls at her High School, which had singled her out. They called her freak and mutant, spitting the words. However, it hadn’t become physical until that day. They beat her on the bridge, and kicked her, hitting her, making her hurt. Then came the final blow, as they threw her into the river and left her to drown. Hailee almost did, being swallowed by the churning waters as they washed her away downstream. The cold bit into her bones and filled her insides, choking the life from her.
Hailee awoke to find herself in the Aether, a woman’s voice in her ear. “Come on, you can do this. Take hold of life and go back.” The words of encouragement spurred her into thinking she could, not realizing that her semi-alive body was infusing with her genes, and changing them. When she awoke at the banks of the river, coughing and spluttering, it was quite easy to see the slight gold glow to her skin, appearing extremely healthy and glowing despite her close calls with death.
Her trip to the Aether mutated her genes, and Hailee’s powers grew stronger, and suddenly Hailee could draw on the Aether itself to aid her. This became obvious when Hailee was in hospital, being treated for her near-drowning. One of the girls who had beaten her and thrown her into the river was crying and pretending to be innocent, and when Hailee yelled at her and pointed at her, a burst of light had erupted from her hand and grazed the girl’s shoulder. She was removed from the scene and Hailee was locked in the hospital ward, the memory of her sister being forcefully taken from the room and her parents scowling at her. A few days later, while she was still in hospital, the depression set in from the loneliness of it all, and the same day, Scott Summers showed up in her hospital ward. Confused but driven by the new found hate of everyone there, Hailee gladly accepted the offer to join the academy and travelled back to the Mansion with him.

Haven stood outside of the Danger Room, her arms crossed over her chest, leaning against the wall, her long black dreads, falling over her shoulders, unbound, dressed in her uniform, it was much like the other girls, form fitting and leather but her trim was grey. She listened idly as the battle went on but she knew as just about everyone else besides Flynn, who was gonna be the victor. She heard the computer and she snickered. "The Idiot never learns." She thought as the door opened and her sullen team captain exited the danger room. "It kills me you really think you have a chance of winning." She said, examining her nails as if that was more interesting.. She pushed off the wall, her arms still crossed as she looked at him with her ever present look of infinite disinterest and infinite amusement. " Better luck next time, Cap." .She said sarcastically before entering the Danger room herself.

She was greeted with faces of Storm, Cyclops and her own mentor, the Wolverine. She gave them a smirk. "So, What's up for today?" She asked and the look they all wore make her smirk fall. "Oh C'mon? Again? We did this already?" She huffed, her nostrils flaring. "Haven..." Logan warned calmly. "I don't wanna go back again!" She groaned, her dark eyes filled with fear. They all knew what was coming next. "Haven, You need to calm down, The more you practice the better at it you'll be." "No, the More I use it, The more people get dead! and I AM CALM!" she shouted to the contrary. She felt a burning on her cheeks and on her arms. She was doing it again. She knew she needed to calm down but she was scared. The Nether terrified her, and while they knew it, they kept thinking she should try. "I can use my shadows without going it to the nether, see." She held out her hand, black smoke bubbled up from her palm. She cupped it in her hand and pushed, The shadow flew from her hand, bounced on the floor, like a ping pong ball, and crashed against the wall with a thud. She closed her hands and pulled back and the shadow sharpened like a spike. The burning on her cheeks grew more intense, the shadow spike she created, splintered into other larger spikes, glowing an eerie purple. Haven wrapped her arms around herself as the marks began to burn, and her body started to twitch. "Go on, I got this." Logan said with an arched eyebrow towards Storm and Cyclops. They hesitated a moment before exiting. "Hold it in, Kid." He told her and she tried but she was pulling more then she was pushing. "I can't" "You can, You said you aren't in the Nether, so stop." He told her and she closed her arms around herself and pushed the nether energies away. The nether was always around, it was wherever death was possible, but thankfully she was with Logan...and between the two of their healing factors, Death wasn't all that possible. Haven shook, her arms clenched tight around her body, her nails digging into her skin. A vein pulsed on her temples, and her nose began to bleed."C'mon, Kid...Push it back" Logan stood, unafraid, even as nether energies forced the shadows to crawl toward them. Haven slowly as if her arms were bound to her chest, she pulled them apart, "UGH!" In a purple flash, The shadows dispersed and she feel forward, the glow of her marks. Logan grabbed her before she hit the ground. "That took least time then before." He said as she looked up meekly at him. She ended up this way, more often then not. Laying weak in Logan's arms. She met him that way, He pulled her from the cage and carried her away. At first it was heart fluttering, but now it was just annoying. She peeled herself away. "Don't do that...Act like I did something good, I could have killed somebody!" She barked before taking off out the door. She heard Logan grunt as the door closed behind her.
She was so scared, her body ached and all she wanted to do was hide. So naturally, it just pissed her off. Anger was her only outlet but she had enough control not to hit anybody. Her first year here, she ended up decking a few classmates.
She knew now, she needed to get somewhere where there weren't so many people. Her dorm, the one she shared with Hallie. She didn't know where she was right then but Hallie was usually good for a perk up, which is what she needed right now, if she wasn't there, all the better. She made her way down the hall, most everyone parting like the Red Sea when she came down, one poor soul was too slow and she growled at him. He skittered out the way as she turned the corner and entered her room.
She opened the door and slammed it behind her, hard. "Hallie, you in here?!" She called. She made her way to the heavy bag handing on the wall and began punching it. Over and over, until she didn't need to anymore. Luckily, her mutation had nothing to do with physical strength, who knows what would have happened then.

Hailee opened her eyes to a field in the middle of nowhere. Grass, gold from the summer sun, danced in a light, warm breeze, and there was only peace. The whole place had a dream-like quality to it - it seemed too pretty. Hailee found herself in the middle of said field, legs crossed and the grass tickling her nose. She noticed that all she could see in every direction was more grass, except for right in front of her, where the green leaves of densely packed trees were noticeable. There was one solitary oak tree in the corner of the field, in front of the wooded area, which waved in the breeze too.

Hailee knew this wasn't just a dream. She never had ordinary dreams.

A loud giggle caught her attention, and she looked up to notice a small girl, standing in an old style yellow dress, embroidered with little blue flowers. The girl appeared as if she'd been taken from a sepia photo - she blended in with the gold of the grass and the sunlight. The girl's hair - blonde, from what Hailee could infer - drifted in the breeze, but Hailee noticed something off with her. The blank expression in her eyes wasn't natural. The girl offered her a hand, and Hailee stood up, the laughter from nowhere in her ears.

When the girl pointed behind her, the crackle of fire wasn't audible. But as she turned, Hailee knew what she'd see. A barn, flames seemingly touching the sky, the column of smoke reaching higher and higher with each heartbeat, and Hailee knew what had happened. The girl in front of her... Her last moments were spent in that barn. The girl seemed to smile, and nodded her head, although she did not speak. Her face was a beam of sunshine to Hailee - something enjoyable and beautiful. But it all changed, and her face contorted into a look of fear and horror, before Hailee felt the ground at her feet melt away, and she was plunged underwater.

Just a dream... It's just a dream... Hailee had to remind herself over and over that it wasn't real, that the water filling her lungs was false. These were supposedly her own last moments, except she'd survived. Fear consumed her, and she kicked her legs in the deep water, fighting it, trying to keep it away. Her lungs burned, her heart beat fast and heavily in her chest, sending spikes of pain through her chest with every beat. She couldn't breathe - panic took over, and her lungs begged for that breath that would end it. She held on, and on, and when she felt something dark pulling her down, her lungs gave up. She took a breath, filled her lungs with water, and -

Hailee awoke, gasping. It was much later than normal, and she cursed herself for letting herself sleep for that long. She placed her hands on her forehead, laying in her bed for a few minutes longer. The spikes of pain were fading now, but it worried her. She hadn't had any palpitations for a long while now. She closed her eyes and reached out with her mind, trying to see if anyone else was awake and free to talk to. She pulled back as soon as she 'felt' Haven - at least, sensed that she was close to entering the Nether. She opened her eyes again as the feeling passed, and huffed a sigh of relief, heaving herself out of bed to take a shower.

Hailee had just stepped out of the shower and had gotten dressed, wearing a cream sleeveless top with black trim, and a black and white cardigan over the top, along with a pair of light blue jeans and suede dolly shoes, when she heard Haven calling. "Hallie, you in here?!" She'd change later, of course, but her training session with Summers wasn't until that afternoon, and she'd resolved to getting changed after lunch, but quickly called out to her friend. "Give me a second!" She ran a brush through her straight hair, and fringe, before walking out of the bathroom. She could hear her friend hitting the punching bag, the heavy thumps of her fists almost rhythmic to her. She pursed her lips together and walked to meet her friend. "It didn't go well, did it?" She sent the message telepathically to her friend so nobody else could hear if they walked past the dorm room. That is, if Hailee wasn't accidentally projecting to everyone in the near vicinity.

The sight of her friend was comforting to Hailee. The dark-haired beauty was the opposite of Hailee in every way, but that just brought the girl's closer. Truth be told, Hailee hadn't loved anybody as much since she had had to leave her sister behind. Haven was like her twin, her sister. They say that the girls were twins, and Haven was the 'evil' one. Hailee couldn't disagree more. She couldn't think of a less 'evil' person - it wasn't her fault that she had mutations that linked her to the Nether, just like anyone's powers wasn't their fault. Whatever she thought, Hailee approached her and placed a hand on her shoulder, hoping to act as a comfort to her. "Hey, at least it's over for today. You don't have to do it any more than you have done already." She was trying to cheer her up, or at least, distract her. Staying optimistic was Hailee's key characteristic. She would do anything to cheer someone up - especially if said person was her best friend.

The other people drifting across her mind were her fellow Rookies, but mainly Austin and Azrael. She was half wondering whether they had a session together that day, or rather if they were just meeting up to chat. She liked both boys, but she knew that lots of others did. Nonetheless, she sent them a quick telepathic message. "Hey, are we training together later? If not, gaming marathon?" She hoped the boys would agree - it would be fun to let off some steam.

Azrael awoke with the sun, as usual. He slowly opened his window, and snuck outside. The air was cool, the sky was clear, it was going to be a good day. He popped his wings out, and jumped off the roof. Just as he was getting airborne, he heard Ororos' voice.

"You're up early, time for a little drill." She smiled, as clouds began to roll in.

"I guess it is" he yelled down to her, as a bolt of lightning crossed his path. He tucked his wings and rolled to the right. He re-expanded them, catching an air bank. He glided higher. Another one, more to the right this time. He tucked, rolled left, and caught himself. This time, two. He tucked, rolled backwards, and dove about ten feet down, missing both. she sent two more, each one horizontal. He flipped upside down, and flew between the two. She began throwing lightning at him a little faster. One left, he rolled left, but before he could catch the bank, she threw a horizontal at him. He rolled backwards, losing some altitude. he banked underneath, and then a third came at his right side, from underneath. He swung his right wing up, his left wing down, and caught a small drift, moving him out of harms way. She threw three at him, each one vertical. Not enough space between the center and left for him to do anything, but there was enough on the right. He turned his body completely vertical, and slid through. He was getting pretty good.

"Let's knock up up a notch." She threw an x in front of him. He spanned his wings, increasing his altitude, tucked his wings, and rolled over the X, and spanned his wings back out. She immediately threw five horizontals at him, barely spaced, except for between three and four. He tilted his wings, dropped to the level, and slid through. She tossed two at him from the right, and as he was rolling left, she threw another one. Hit him right in the spine.

"Shit." Was all he said.

She spoke kindly "You're getting better, a lot better."

Azrael made his way down to the ground, tucking his wings, and landing softly just outside the door. The sun was now up, and beating down on his back as he entered. The usual mid-morning bustle was about. Azrael received a telepathic message from Haliee just as he was passing Francis.

"Hey, are we training together later? If not, gaming marathon?"

He directed his thought to her. "Perhaps. I do not know the answer, but either one would be fine. Goodbye." He wasn't sure what to call their mind conversations. It was a new concept to him, but it wasn't complicated. Not nearly as complicated as video games.

Just then, he bumped into Tecmessa, literally. "Apologies, I'll watch where I'm going next time. How are you doing?" This was the first time he'd really tried to make conversation with her. He was curious at to what the outcome would be, she had always seemed nice. Teased him lightly every once in a while, Ororo said it was something called flirting, but he didn't really know how to tell what was flirting and what wasn't. Guess he'd have to see where this conversation went to find out.

Austin woke up on the floor, to a loud beeping noise. He groaned and as he slowly got up on to his feet. Austin stood there for a few seconds and stare at the mess his dorm was, "Oh well I'm not cleaning up this stuff.... Time for training I guess...". He didn't worry about changing, he slept in his clothes anyway. He put his bedding back on the bed and walked out of his dorm and past the kitchen. "Wait.... food first" he made a turn into the kitchen and just took a toast someone was finished making and left for themselves on the table, "Don't mind If I do, thank you very much". He walked out of the kitchen and outside the Danger Room, someone was already inside, he clicked a tune with his tongue, waiting for them to get out. The door opened and Haven stomped out, "Hi?...". He walked inside to see Logan. "Ororo, it's one of yours! Finally too... I need a break...", Ororo came up to Austin and casually greet him, "Are you ready for the obstacle course?". Austin nodded "I've been practicing all week!". Walls, swinging ropes, enemies, hurdles, a whole lot of obstacles came up in the simulation, "Run Simulation: Shapeshifter's Obstacle Course 19, You ready?". "I was born ready". A loud beeping noise went off as he turned into a tiger and climbed a wall then swinged across vines as a monkey and landed on his feet at the start of a hill. Then he turned into a rhino and charged down the hill and took out the enemies. Then he turned into a horse and jumped the hurdles and then he dodged some harpoons in his snake form and turned into an elephant and took out the harpoon launchers. "Was I good?" Austin changed back to his human form and asked. "You beat your previous best, so you're getting there" Austin's spot on the leaderboard went up a space putting him on #21. "Yes!" he cheered "Thanks, Mrs. Munroe", he walked out of the Danger Room to his dorm and checked the computer and read some news about one of his favourite MMOs. He read to himself. "Ultimate Galaxies Online will be closing down early next month, anyone who invested money into this game will be given a full refund...". He sat there for a few seconds before letting out a huge "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" the whole academy could hear. He later got a telepathic message from Hailee, He thought back I've already been training, video game marathon would be nice I guess... maybe later. Then he leaned back in his chair, thinking how it couldn't get any worse.

“Right. Let's do this.”

Tessa sighed as she turned around to see about twelve feet of roof ahead of her, her eyes narrowing. The blue and green orbs flashed as she grinned, her legs pumping as she ran. She could hear the screams of others as her body plummeted down towards the ground. Her eyes closed and soon... There was nothing but silence. She could feel the earth all around her body, the small creatures that lived below the surface going about their daily business. But she wasn't training for that. Instead, she tried to hear what was going on above. She sighed as she brought herself into a position of lying down, moving through the soil as easily as she moved through air, almost unaware of the pressure as the earth shifted out of her way and created space for her. She placed her palms flat upon the earth above her, coercing a small daisy to sprout above. Grasping onto its roots, she opened her eyes and simply stared into the darkness before giving a shout of victory. What's she doing down there? Is she dead? That was Professor Tec, right? She could hear the people talking above, though it was rather faint. She would have to work a bit harder to perfect this. Still, it was going much better than her attempts at exploring some other aspects of her power. Like turning into various elements. She had spent two weeks in the medical bay after trying to turn into a piece of metal and ended up being a copper bracelet for six hours. When she had returned to her normal form she was broken out in hives and had a green tint to her skin.

Not the best day of her life.

Satisfied with the training, she walked through the earth, surprising the students as she popped up. “And that is how you don't die when you leap from twenty feet up.” She gave a light smirk before canting her head to the side some. “Though, I wouldn't suggest that any of you try it just yet.” Beaming a smile, she skipped past them and headed indoors with a skip in her step. She waved to those that she passed by on her way to her room, throwing open her door and giving a light squeal. It was only her second year being employed by Xavier's Institute for Gifted Youngsters, only her second year of having one of the “upgraded” rooms, but she still loved it. She didn't mind when she had a room with Mia but she felt so official with her new room. That... She rarely slept in. But her furred companions loved the new space. She dropped to her knees to greet them as they ran up to her, laughing at the sight of Jade sitting on top of Bastille's head. “That's just... Oh, it's too cute!” She brushed her fingers through Bastille's fur before using her index finger to stroke Jade's small head. “I've got to go and get ready to train for a bit.” She stood up, turning her head as Talisman yipped softly, nudging his head against Tex's leg. “Haven's there... With Flynn. Fucking... Fantastic. Thanks for the update, lovey.” Her voice was dripping with sarcasm as she made her way to the shower, though she didn't direct it towards her stubby-legged friend.

She didn't spend long showering, just a few minutes to scrub away the dirt. She didn't mind some dirt on her nails or smudges on her face but she didn't like feeling funky. By the time she re-entered her room, her once chocolate waves were now curls of hot pink that dangled past her waist. They were pulled together by a thin vine, looping around to place her hair into a ponytail. She moved to the mirror, staring at her body. Scars were... They were everywhere. She sighed as she pulled out her makeup cream and began to apply it to her chest. It was always the first scar that she covered before following up and covering the ones on her legs, back, and arms that weren't already covered by her tattoos. Ah, her tats. She wouldn't trade them for anything in the world, spending quite some time staring at the newest one that took up her right side. That was a masterpiece and something she felt absolutely represented her to her core. She sighed happily, blue flowers blooming and intertwining with her locks. She happily slid into a workout outfit, whistling to herself while she finished it all off with her favorite headphones. Clicking her tongue and gesturing to herself in the mirror as though she were some sleazy construction worker, she chuckled and headed out for the Danger Room. She let her beasties out and locked the door behind them, smiling at the students who were enjoying their weekend. It was a great afternoon. She gave a final wave to them as she stepped into the elevator and headed down below.

Being accepted to train with the X-Men meant so much more to her than just being a teacher. Having her own room was great but being part of the X-Men, even just as a trainee, meant that she had access to their cool vehicles and all the super secret rooms below the ground floor. The Danger Room was by far her favorite room. She also had that really cool uniform, though she didn't need it. Logan and Ororo told her that it was to help her and the others withstand immense amounts of G-Force as well as to regulate their body temperature, neither of which she needed because her body adjusted on its own. Still, she was not one to pass up looking fine as hell. She certainly filled out her outfit well enough. But she wasn't wearing it today. She passed by the locker rooms and found that Haven seemed to have left, a grin playing on her lips. Good. The last thing they needed was yet another scrap between the two. Flynn was leaving as well and she passed both he and Anastasia, offering only the redhead a smile before continuing on. “Blindside.” She gave a courteous nod though she all but ignored the leader of the BAM team. She made her way to the observation room where she found Scott and Ororo, leaning into the side hug of her African mentor. “I see dipshit's had his ass handed to him again. Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, doesn't it?” She gave a grin as Scott gave one of her curls a tug. “Don't be mean.” She gave a shrug before narrowing her eyes some. “I think I'll go ahead and give it a go with Logan when you're done with Austin... Give us something urban.”

She gave Ororo a pat on the back before waiting until her run was finished with Austin. She was soon heading back down and entering the Danger Room, locking the door behind her. Ororo and Austin had already left the room and Logan was back in, putting out a cigar. Wolverine didn't bother turning, already smelling the young woman that oozed the sweet scent of flowers wherever she went. “Well, if it isn't Daddy's Girl. You come to take on the champ, Princess?” He turned to face her with his trademark smirk, brown eyes scanning her while she too took on an intimidating stance. Or, at least she tried. She ended up just grinning and rolling her eyes. “Shut up and let's race.” As she spoke the room around them began to change at the behest of the mysterious entity, Danger. It began to resemble a rundown end of Harlem, the room darkening as night time was simulated. Before Tecmessa had the chance to make a break for the bell at the far side of the “city”, Wolverine took off. “Hey, you! Dick!” She yelled out at him before a vine emerged from her back and shot out at him. It wrapped around his legs and slammed him to the ground with extreme force. She had learned quite some time ago that one did not go easy on Logan. He was a big kid. She didn't bother with the theatrics of slamming him around because she knew he'd just recover within seconds.

Instead, she let the vine detach from her body and took off past him. Her eyes adjusted to the lack of proper lighting within minutes as she began to scale the walls of the buildings, leaping across rooftops with a number of arguably unnecessary flips. She thought she had lost Wolverine but she should have known better than to get too comfortable with his absence. He had hunted her down and she soon found them both tumbling down three stories. She landed on top of him as he turned to avoid crushing the much smaller being beneath him under the weight of his muscles and adamantium-infused skeleton. She gave a grunt but didn't hesitate to cock back her fist and punch him in the face. “Ahh! Fuck! Stupid asshole!” Wolverine pushed her off of him and stood over her with a smirk as she cradled her aching hand. The pain was fading fast but not fast enough. “All these years and you ain't learned yet?” He turned and left her to get up on her own, not concerned about her safety. She ran after him, slowly picking up speed but not enough. With a growl, she found herself seeing through black and white lenses. Wolverine looked back to see a sinewy and fluffy cream colored wolf damn near on his ass, howling out with exhilaration. He gave a grin and turned, readying for a fight.

The lupine form of Tecmessa launched itself from powerful legs, tackling Logan to the ground and going for his exposed arms. He kept his claws at bay and instead kept to simple punches; He didn't want to kill her. She tore him up pretty bad but he was able to handle her with relative ease. Her strength was increased in this form but it wasn't a match for him still. She let out a canine whine and whimper as he tossed her to the side and kept running. She grunted and rose up slowly, taking back on her usual form. She held a hand out and began to clench her fist slowly. The action itself didn't actually do anything but it was generally a common way for kinetics to get a sense of their power and manipulate their desired energy. For her, she felt the air around them, forcing it to gather while creating more. Wolverine yelled out as he was slammed into a nearby building, thrown through the wall as heavy winds picked him up and tossed him. Tecmessa gave a shout of almost victory and ran past him, using the air to push her up to the rooftops. “Next time, agápi̱ mou!” She yelled out to him in Greek as she caught hold of a fire escape ladder and began her ascent. Still, Logan didn't plan on losing. His claws came out as he burst through the rubble and was soon surpassing her. She climbed faster, before reaching out and grabbing his leg. “Don't be a bitch, Princess!”

She wasn't listening though. He raised his foot to kick her down or, at the very least, remove her hand from his leg. But he found himself unable to bring it down. She grinned up at him as she dug her nails into him a bit and further found herself tapping into the metal that coated his skeleton. Manipulating his adamantium wasn't as easy as manipulating other metals. She had to also fight against his muscle and will power combined and she had to actually be touching him to do it. Still, she made his claws retract, glaring in concentration as she watched his fingers slowly, one by one, begin to lift until he was falling. She released him and moved away, jumping through the window as he fell. She would not let him win. She was scrambling through the simulated apartment in the dark, trying to find an exit before Wolverine recovered. Knowing him, he had caught onto something before climbing back up. She kept her cool as she found the exit that lead into a dimly lit hallway. She slid as she bounded up three flights of stairs, forcing the door off of its hinges with a wave of her hand. She saw the bell and her face lit up like a child in a candy store. She began to run for it but didn't make it.

She gave out a yelp as Wolverine tackled her, taking her down from the side. Bastard! She thrashed out and let vines whip out and wrap around him but found herself unable to discern him from her in their struggle and they ended up awkwardly tangled together. Wolverine was much more careful than she was as he slashed through the vines on his end, leaving her wrapped in them. He ran for the bell and was able to ring it just before she lashed out and caught his leg with a vine, throwing him from the rooftop. The simulation soon faded and she was on the ground, retracting her vines back into her flesh with a whine. “I hate you.”

“You love me.”

“Fuck you.” The two bickered playfully as Wolverine helped her up. She gave the man a tight hug before limping her way out of the Danger Room. Wolverine remained, waiting for anyone else who wanted to take him on. “Hey, Princess! You got a match against that Russian boy tonight! Get some ice and walk that shit off!” Tec waved a hand nonchalantly as she ambled through the door and made her way back to the surface level and right back outside. She wandered around until she found the labyrinth on the west side, easily navigating herself to the center where a large oak tree waited for her. Groaning, she collapsed onto the ground and pulled her headphones over her ears, clicking the button on the wire to play the first song, Metallica's Battery. It was so fitting considering the battery she had just gotten. She sighed as her body began to sap the health from the tree. The leaves browned only a little – She wasn't dying or anything. She just had some bruises and cuts and aching bones. She didn't need too much energy from the tree. When she had finished she curled onto her side and closed her eyes, thinking about how she could improve her next run. She could beat Logan in an actual fight, given enough time. But she'd never beat him on a run. That was his arena. She gave a light sigh and curled her fingers around the blades of grass, encouraging it to grow taller around her. This was paradise.

Minus the memory of the ass whuppin'.

She pulled out her phone that was stashed between her boobs - because that was the safest place for everything - and scrolled through her contact list, wondering who she could harass for company. Most of her team members would probably be training today. Still, she decided she was going to harass everyone anyways. She arranged a group message with the text Boooreeed! Entertain at the lake in twenty or suffer! It was a bit theatrical, but that was totally her style. Pleased, she sent the text to Mia, Autumn, Alex, Tyler, and Austin. She realized that she had to actually dress for the lake first herself and found herself sinking into the ground. She walked casually through the earth back to the mansion, popping back up to surface level to find that Ororo must have migrated outside while she was battling with Logan; Her mentor would often step out when the two of them fought. She looked up to see her second-in-command on the roof and gave a light nod before heading indoors. She traveled to her room, quickly packing a bag and heading back out, pulling out her phone to switch songs. Not paying attention, she found that she had slammed into someone. Her headphones were knocked ajar, leaking out the tunes of Nine Inch Nails' Terrible Lie.

“Ouch! Ah! It's cool! I'm fine!” She overreacted a bit, smiling as she steadied herself and re-shouldered her backpack. “Oh! Hey, Ace! Saw you on the roof. More training?” It was a rhetorical question because the answer was completely obvious. Still, she gave a friendly air as more flowers bloomed in her hair with her improved mood. “Hey... Actually. Some of us were going to head out to the lake. Maybe you want to come? Actually, it might just be me. Nobody's texted back yet.” She gave a soft laugh and shrugged before looking down to see her two dogs join the party. Jade leaped from her perch atop Bastille's head and scrambled up to Tessa's head, peering through large black eyes at Azrael. “Don't be weird, Jade,” she chastised softly, though she kept eye contact with the boy in front of her. “So... I should get going. But... It'd be great. To see you at the lake. You should definitely come. I'd be terribly sad if you didn't.” She found herself at a loss for words and beginning to blush with embarrassment, rushing past her winged teammate and back outside.

The lake was only a mile walk down a path behind the mansion. Tessa strolled along with a whistle, readjusting her headphones with her phone in one hand while she waited for some sort of hopeful response.

Haven continued laying into the heavy bag until she tired herself out. ” "It didn't go well, did it?" Hallie called to her mind and Haven chuckled humorless. ”Not even a little bit.” The sound of her ‘twins’ voice was enough to calm her the rest of the way. Haven was always more balance when Hallie was around, given that Hallie was her opposite, it was the stupidest thing that they weren’t on the same time. Hell they have enough sense to place them in the same room. She’d have to talk to Logan about that..... "Hey, at least it's over for today. You don't have to do it any more than you have done already. Hallie said after walking in and placing a hand on her shoulder. Haven sighed, dropping her shoulders. “ That would be great if they would just stop trying to get me to control it. I’m not meant to, The Witches had it right, Containing it is the best thing, locking it away. I can’t control it..No one can...The Nether is all around, infinite...controlling it is like....” Haven stopped and shook her head. Like controlling the weather... she wanted to say but she happened to know a mutant who could do that...She walked toward the wall length mirror that hung on the closet door. She looked at herself in her uniform. She was an X-Men now...they knew she was capable, they knew she was powerful and they knew she was good...She hated to admit it but they believed in her...too bad she didn’t...she was scared...which pissed her off. “I don’t know Hay, this is just...ugh...I don’t wanna talk about it anymore...” She said and pulled off her uniform jacket and tossed it on her bed. She then reached in the closet after carelessly swinging it open and pulling out a black tank top, a red and black plaid bra, a short layered leather black skirt, her favorite red tights with the black fist netting over top. “What are we up for today?” She asked, as she walked into the en suite and changing out of her uniform and into her clothes, “I’m bored.” She said through the open door. Haven honestly had very little shame, a guy could have walked in that moment and all she say would be something smart assed. She finished dressing and added an impressive amount of jewelry, as well as fingerless lace gloves. She thought about putting in her contacts but after looking at her eyes in the mirror, she decided against it. "Mutant and Proud, Bitches." She thought before walking out and throwing herself on Hallie's bed. "I need something to do..."

"Of course I know how to swim" Austin replied to Ana. "But I've never had any experience with jet skis, gotta try that, Another thing that will probably make me fall on my arse" He went on walking over to the lake, "Hey Tessa! Where the heck's Marigold at? She's your best friend and yet she hasn't turned up yet" He yelled out to her as he kept on walking until he finally made it to the lake and took his shirt off and got in his board shorts. He decided to wait for the others, he sat at the edge of the lake and dipped his feet in and took out his phone and started mucking around with some of his apps as he waited for the others to get here. He started texting Hailee. Yo, It's Austin, I'm at the lake with Tessa, Alex, Tyler, Autumn, Ana and Azrael. Ya welcome to come, I don't mind If ya don't though, cya. He turned his phone off and started eating a packet of salt and vinegar chips. He moaned and said to himself, "Hurry up, already guys, I'm so boooooooored"

Hailee listened to her 'twin' hit the bag over and over. She felt tired just hearing her. She listened to her reply, and pulled a face, sighing as she did so. "Maybe it's not so much controlling it, but channeling it...?" She suggested in reply. She knew exactly how Haven felt - it was one of the problems she had herself, minus the evil spirits trying to possess her body.

As Haven mused to herself, Hailee received messages back from Austin and Azzy, just after a loud 'NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!' from downstairs. Hailee chuckled to herself, guessing that was Austin discovering something amiss with his MMOs. She'd ask about it later. The first message she received was from Azrael, saying; "Perhaps. I do not know the answer, but either one would be fine. Goodbye." She had to laugh a little at that, too - Azzy sounded so posh it was unreal. She found the kid likable - she loved his company, as she did with many of the others at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, but it amused Hailee from the way he sounded like he was one of the Church people back at 'home', except he was the complete opposite. She shook her head, still grinning.

The second was a reply from Austin, who seemed rather disappointed. She'd guessed right, apparently. His message asked about doing it later, and Hailee nodded her head. Seemed like she'd be doing something this evening, at the very least.

I don’t know Hay, this is just...ugh...I don’t wanna talk about it anymore...” Haven brought her attention back to reality, and Hailee looked up from her lap. "I understand, you know. You aren't the only one linked up to a whole other dimension, you know." She shrugged, a slight smile on her lips, letting her twin know she was kidding. Haven got up and went into the bathroom, getting changed, when noises outside caught her attention. Confused, she stood up and headed over to the window, leaning on the windowsill. Many of her friends were down there, by the lake, laughing, from the looks of things. She felt her stomach turn in dread. What if she was invited? What would she say? How the heck would she get out of that?

Austin turned into a cheetah and raced off, when Hailee noticed who he had just been with. Her heart sank along with her gut. It was Ana. Of course. Why else would he race off so quickly to get his stuff? She could hear his movements now, around the mansion somewhere. He really was an eager thing. Hailee sighed a little. At least she could pretend she had forgotten at this point.

Haven exited the bathroom, wearing her usual style of clothing. Hailee liked it - she just couldn't pull it off herself. After adding loads and loads of jewellry to her outfit, Hailee grinned. She'd gone against adding contacts, which Hailee thought was good. She liked when her twin was herself, and didn't hide anything. Hailee liked doing it too, but she had resolved that some things couldn't be shown off. Like her depression. That was definitely a no-no.

Her phone buzzed in her pocket as Haven asked what they were doing. She shrugged, pulling out her phone and tapping her password in lightly. She waited patiently for her phone to load and felt Haven sit down on her bed. She'd received a text from Austin, and felt her gut flip in terror. There was her dreaded invite. Instinct turned her head to look at the large body of water that was her own personal nightmare, and swallowed the foul taste at the back of her throat. "Umm... Apparently we've been invited to a... gathering at the... lake." She croaked. Her fear was quite obvious, and she really wanted to go and see everyone, but her fear of the water was almost paralysing. Even the idea of going near the water made shivers go down her spine. She stared at the text, emotions of want and fear mixing together and just confusing the girl. "What. The heck. Do we do?" She muttered. "I want to go, but then... I'll be near the water... What do you think?

Anastasia "Blindside" Cloverfield

"Come on, guys!" Ana called out to them. The small girl was very excited to go into the water but she didn't wanna go in alone so she walked over to Austin who already had his bathing shorts on. She stood beside him and slid off her shirt and shorts leaving her in her bathing suit and her regular white and red converse. Ana untied her shoes, folded her shirt and shorts, and placed them under a tree with her shoes next to them.

Carefully she walked back over to Austin but turned away slightly so the back of her legs were towards the lake so no one wold see her scars."You guys are the slowest bunch of mutants on this side of the country," she stated with a slight country tang in her words, although it wasn't /that/ noticeable since she hid it really well. Ana didn't have one of those country accents that were so thick, and pure southern that by listening to it you felt as if you teleported down to South Carolina, or Tennessee. It was only i some of her words that she picked up on one her many trips with he Brotherhood. The only reason she didn't pick it up from anywhere else was because she stayed down south longer than up north.

Again the girl groaned before turning round and dipping her toes in the water to test the temperature. It isn't /that/ cold she though to herself before stepping further into the water so her knees where under, she then turned and looked at Austin, "You coming in, Aus?" she asked placing her hands on hips and arching one of her eyebrows.

"Oh, what's up Azrael?" Austin spoke kindly. If Azrael hadn't known better, he would have answered literally, something along the lines of "The sky." However, he was previously made aware of the true meaning, albeit somewhat embarrassingly.

"Nothing much, Austin. What's up with you?" He smiled at Austin.

"Please tell me you /all/ know how to swim, and wont have any problems with a jet ski?"

"No, and no. I'm not really sure what a jet ski is. I am, however, curious as to what swimming will be like. I haven't been in a number of years." The last time Azrael was swimming, it was long before he had fully developed his wings. He would've been around 9, at a motel in the south side of Vegas, just off I-95. It was a memory Azrael was particularly fond of.

Ana made her way down to the water. "Come on, guys!"

Azrael expanded his wings, and took off his jeans, revealing a pair of gym shorts underneath. He waked down to the lake, and made his way in slowly. The water was cool, but it was refreshing. He made it up to his stomach, but further than that would've been dangerous, he thought. He began to stretch his wings, and then he made his way further in. It was incredibly difficult, nearly impossible to even walk. He attempted to tuck his wings, but that didn't improve anything. He would have to practice, and what better time than now.

He began by putting himself completely underwater, and expanding his wings. He flapped, and it sent him backwards quickly. Now, he would have to figure out a way to re-position his wings without launching himself forward. he tucked, and re-adjusted his angle, arcing them in towards his back, expanded, making sire they stayed angled properly, and flapped once more, with the same effect. He popped his head up from underwater, noticing he was a considerable distance from the group. He kept his head up, and made his way back to the group, using his wings to swim. This had taken a toll on his stamina, it was a very difficult task.

He stood for a moment, watching the others. The seemed to be having such a good time. He smiled, this was nice. This was what it was like, to be carefree for a few moments. Just then, he felt a splash on water on the side of his face, from an unknown party. He laughed, and, as out of tough as he usually was, he felt, happy

"I don't wanna talk about it Dreads." Flynn said in a pissed tone as he brushed past his number 2 on his way out of the danger room. He doesn't need to be reminded the score board. Flynn continued down the hall, growing more pissed off with each step he took. While he has come closer to beating Logan with each passing week, it's still a slow process. And Flynn can't stand slow. And the talking behind his back about his loses doesn't help any, not that any one other then the main team as beaten Logan in a training session.

Flynn started his way to the men's locker room to put away his uniform, even though he barely used it today. Along the way he was stopped by Ana. "I'd rather not talk about it Sunshine." He replied to her questioning how it went. "I'm heading to the locker room, I'll catch ya later." He said, and continued on down the hallway. When he got into the locker room he looked for his locker marked with 'Energizer'. He opened it up his locker, and grabbed the pair of jeans, and red flannel shirt inside. He tossed his uniform's top in, and got changed into his street clothes.

With his clothes on, he shut the locker door. He stood their for a minute, and stared at his codename. He then punched a huge dint into the metal locker's door. And with that bit of anger he left the locker room. He went to the kitchen to grab himself something quick to eat. He just grabbed himself a apple. He looked outside the window, and saw a group down by the lake. He looked closer, and he could see Ana's unmistakable red hair. 'What's she doing there with them?' He thought to himself.

While eating his apple, Flynn was interrupted by Wolverine. Great, just what his day needed. "Hey Ken Doll." Logan said as he opened up the refrigerator. "Blow it out your ass Wolvie." Flynn said through his bites of the apple. "You....um...did ok this morning. If it helps, Tecmessa didn't fair any better." Logan said somewhat hesitantly. He figured it'd be in the best interest of the team if they maintained some sort of civility towards each other. "Whatever." Flynn replied without looking at him. "I know that look kid." Logan said as he grabbed himself a root beer from frig. Unfortunately Professor X won't let him keep any of the real stuff.

"Oh? So Jedi Master Yoda-verine has some words of wisdom for me?" Flynn said in annoyance as he turned to face him. "I ain't your son, or prodigy. So don't try to treat me as such." Logan rolled his eyes. "It's just some friendly advice bub. Believe it or not I know how you feel. I know the doubt you feel in your place here. I've felt it, hell I still have it! But you got a responsibility to those kids out there. You owe it to them to try." Logan said as he sipped on his drink.

"Whatever. I don't need or want your advice old man." Flynn said as he brushed past him. "Just try to work with them, and not be such a dick." Flynn rolled his eyes and stopped at the doorway out of the kitchen. "Ain't that the hairy pot calling the devilishly handsome kettle black? You hypocrite, you're like the definition of loner." Flynn smirked. Logan let out a slight chuckle. "I guess I am. But I'm a lot more cuddly then I was back when I first joined. Just ask Cyclops. All I'm saying is that it ain't helping anyone if you're pissy all the time."

Flynn rolled his eyes, and started to exit the kitchen. He about ran into Cyclops on his way out. "Flynn. It's good I caught you. I need you to gather the teams up for a meeting in the War Room." Scott ordered with a nod. Flynn just rolled his eyes and went on his way. "Logan. The Professor wants to see us." Scott ordered. "What's Chuck want?" Logan replied as he finished his drink. "Don't know. He's called Ororo too." Scott said, and then motioned for him to follow him.

Flynn got out of the mansion, and let out a big yawn. He finished his apple, and just threw it aside on the ground. Flynn walked over towards where the others were. He stopped, and saw his mortal enemy, Tecmessa. "Great." He muttered to himself. He walked on over to them. "Hey Sunshine." Flynn directed to Anastasia with a warm smile. He then looked over at Tecmessa. "Slumming it with us Betas huh Flower Child?" Flynn smirked with a bit of annoyance.

"Old One Eye wants us for a meeting or some shit. So you know, maybe you guys should hold off the fun in sun for a little bit." Flynn smirked. "But feel free to keep the swim suits on. I'm not complaining." He said with a wink. "You guy's get to the War Room in ten." He ordered as he turned away from them and went on back to the mansion. He went back inside, and headed towards the War Room.

The War Room was located near the Danger Room, and was the heart of the X-Men operation. Only members of the senior team were allowed into the War Room, and the only members of the squads that have been in that room was the squad leaders. Even then that was only once, it was to tell them that they were to lead their own squads. Flynn took out his phone, and sent a mass text to anyone who wasn't down by the lake to get their asses down to the War Room.

Flynn was the first to enter the War Room. Professor X, Storm, Cyclops, and Wolverine were all waiting inside.

Autumn was just looking for a place to change into her swimsuit when Francis came by with a message from the Professors. Autumn sighed a little bit. She was actually rather looking forward to the swim. Oh Well. Tyler climbed out of the water and Autumn forced herself not to stare...which was a problem because she hadn’t seen what happened next coming. He engulfed in soggy embrace and Autumn groaned. ”Tyler, you git!” She exclaimed. ”Now I have to change!” She huffed, and all he did was smile. She had half a mind to shove him into the water. Well, maybe we can go swimming later.” he said and scurried off. She poked out her bottom lip. Her clothes weren’t too bad but she still needed to change. Thankfully they weren’t far from the girl’s dorms so she’d have enough time to at least grabbed her uniform. Trotting off to the dorms, she ran as quickly as she could, to hers, changed, taking her hair ribbon out and letting her wild mane fly free before making her way to the War Room, but not before stopping by Haven and Hallie’s room.
She knocked lightly, and was greeted by a maudlin Haven, her expression changed when she saw her. “We’re wanted in the War Room. Professor Xaiver called a meeting.” She said and Haven nodded.” ”Hallie, You’re in luck, Professor X wants us apparently.” She said and she turned back to Autumn. “ We’ll be down.” She said and closed the door. Autumn shrugged and made her way to the others. She took a place by her team leader as she entered the War Room. ”Good Morning, Professors.” She said with a smile and a polite nod of her head. She saw Tyler and wanted to swat him but she didn’t. She’d get him back later.

Haven watched as Hailee’s expression turned grim after looking at her phone. "Umm... Apparently we've been invited to a... gathering at the... lake." She said and Haven grew instantly defensive. The idiots, this girl was debilitatingly afraid of larger bodies of water and they invited her to a lake party. Fear struck her Twin, she felt it in the Nether and the Aether... Haven really wanted to hit something...someone, whose ever bright idea this was. “Assholes...” She spat, sitting up full now. What. The heck. Do we do?" She peeped and Haven’s brow creased. "I want to go, but then... I'll be near the water... What do you think? She asked her and Haven looked at her and frowned. She said she wanted to go, but she was terrified of the water. Haven knew she wasn’t about to get an invite, nobody really liked her much and she was fine with that. ”If you feel up to it Hae, then you should go, I’ll come with you, if you want...”
At that moment, there was a light knock at the door. Haven got to her feet, and was ready to deck whoever it was, probably one of the jack offs who invited Hailee to the lake. She opened the door and her head dropped to see the curly mane of Autumn, fully uniformed standing before her. ”We’re wanted in the War Room, Professor Xavier called a meeting.” Said the little Brit. Haven could have kissed the girl, for her timing. She turned to Hailee. Hailee, You’re in luck, Professor X wants us apparently.” and then turned back to Autumn. ”We’ll be down.” She told her and then closed the door behind her. ”Crisis averted, Get suited up.” She told her and all Haven did was grab her jacket, and didn’t bother with zipping it up either. ”Ready?”

With the last of the teams coming into the War Room, the meeting was about to commence. "Welcome all of you. I'm sure you're excited for your first time in the War Room." Charles greeted to his young charges. "Now let us get down to business." Before he could what the missions were, he was interrupted by the late arrival of Dr. Hank McCoy AKA Beast. "Sorry Charles, I had a experiment that I couldn't leave." Hank apologized, and then took his place next to Cyclops. "Damn, why wasn't I fashionably late?" Flynn muttered to himself. "It's ok Henry." Charles said with a reassuring smile. "Now then, on to the business at hand."

Charles rolled his mechanical wheelchair forward towards the round table at the center of the room. He pressed a button on the edge of the table to bring up a holographic display. The display of a bunch a formulas which looked like scribbles to someone with several advanced degrees in chemistry. "Dr. McCoy if you'd be so kind to explain this?" Charles said as he backed the wheelchair up. The blue furred Mutant stepped forward. "This my young friends is the X-Hormone Mutagen, or as it's more commonly known as the Mutant Growth Hormone, MGH for short. Something I'm sad to say I had a hand in creating." He said with obvious regret.

"I was on leave from the team at the time, and I was working for the Brand Corporation over on Long Island. I was trying to find a way to reverse what gives us powers. And what I found was the catalyst that activates the X-gene, that makes us Mutant. I whipped up a serum that I thought could reverse the mutation process." Hank was visibly uncomfortable talking about this. "I was so sure I had a cure. Sure enough to try it on myself. But I got what I deserved. The serum caused a secondary mutation to occur, turning me into the fuzzy beast you see before you."

"After my recovery, I found out my superiors were using my creation to actually give humans mutant powers. Obviously this posed a great danger. So I destroyed all my research, and everything having to do with it. After that I cut ties with the Corporation, and returned to the X-Men."
Hank then let out another sigh. "A few years later we found out it somehow got outside the company. It was being manufactured on the street, and sold like any other drug. I'm sure you can see the problem with anyone with the right money being able to buy superpowers."

"But the drug on the street was different. It only gave temporary powers, and it need DNA harvested from a Mutant, or a Mutate. And depending on the DNA, you'd get the originals powers. For example, if the DNA from our esteemed Mr. Summers here got into MGH, then the user would get his optic concessive blasts."
Hank explained. "We did everything we could to destroy the drug. And we did, or so we thought." Hank then pressed another button on the table which brought up a map of Brooklyn New York. "We've found evidence of the drug here in Brooklyn. Alphas, you have been tasked to find out whose brought this drug back to life."

Hank then stepped back, and Cyclops stepped forwards. "We'll be taking the X-Van. Now I'll be supervising, but the mission is up to you. I'm just to observe, and interfere if necessary. So will Wolverine, and Storm to their respected teams." As soon as Cyclops finished, Wolverine stepped forward. He brought up a hologram of some small town. "Alright rookies, this is Sanctuary Nevada. A safe haven for the less dangerous mutants. It's run by our old friend Forge. He's called us in for help. Some of his people's gone missing. So BAM...my god that's stupid name...we're going to be going down there to investigate."

Wolverine stepped back, and Storm was up next. She brought up a map of San Francisco. "We've had some minor Brotherhood activity here. Nothing too major, just a few sightings of some people wearing their colors, and some graffiti. Normally we wouldn't even bother investigating, but we've found some sightings of Toad." She then brought up a image of Toad. "This is Mortimer Toynbee AKA Toad. He's one of Magneto's first recruits. Despite his seniority, he's not that high up the food chain. His powers include superhuman leg strength, flexible bone structure, superhuman agility, superhuman reflexes, prehensile tongue, and acidic saliva. He might hold some useful information, so bring him in alive."

"We'll be taking the Blackbird along with BAM. After we drop them off in Nevada, we'll head on to San Francisco."
Storm then turned off the holographic generator, and gave the teams a nod. Charles then rolled forward. "If you have any questions ask your mentors. Now go get your uniforms on, and report to the hanger, and Alphas you go to the garage. Dismissed." He stated. And Flynn was the first to exit the room. "Bout time we see some action!" He smirked as he left the room. Although he'd be lying if he said he didn't wish it was his team that got the mission to capture a Brotherhood member. But still if it meant they'd get out of this place, then he'd didn't care what he had to do.

He went straight on to the men's locker room to change into his uniform. He quickly took off his clothes, and threw on his uniform. Once he was dressed, and everything in order he went on down to the hanger bay. He wasn't the first one there however, he was beat by Wolverine, and Storm who were prepping the Blackbird. Flynn went on inside the jet. "Alright, let's get this ball rolling!" Flynn said with a loud clap of his hands. "Gotta wait for your team dumbass." Logan replied. Storm gave him a slap to the back of the head, and a fierce look that you knew said 'be nice'.

He went over to Wolverine who was in the pilot seat. "Get up stinky. Let papa fly." Flynn smirked. "Heeeelllll no!" Logan growled. [color=#03FFF2]"Well, he is certified in all vehicle operations. And the Professor did say we're only to observe." Storm chimed in. Wolverine gave her a death stare in response. "Yeah! Get up hairball, I'm certified MOFO!" Flynn smirked. Wolverine sighed, and got out of the pilot's seat. Flynn slipped on in. "No hot-dogging!" Wolverine growled as he took the seat behind him. "I was only going to do a couple barrel rows, and fire off a few missiles. I'll make sure they blow up midair." Flynn smirked. "No!" Logan snarled. "Fine, no missiles. How about flares? Come on, it's for the kids. At least let me do a loop!" Flynn continued to smirk. "No tricks. Just get us there in one piece." Wolverine growled. "You're no fun."

Once Haven and Hailee arrived, She sat at the back, her arms folded across her chest as Dr. Hank Mcoy walked in. She hadn't seen him in a while. She arched an eyebrow at him as he spoke.

When he mentioned the X-gene she flinched. When Logan first brought her in, they weren't sure if she were a mutant at all. Dr. McCoy analyzed her DNA and found that she was indeed a mutant. She'd like to shove that ab report down Magnus' throat...She wasn't a demon, or some half baked scheme from the witches...she was a mutant..and they treated her like she was something else. She caught Autumn's gaze. The Nether was reacting to her anger and the Brit felt it. She shook it off.

Then finally Logan and Storm went on about there mission. It was so stupid that she wasn't on the same team as Hailee. Honestly. The Nether and Aether working together, Yin and Yang, They'd be in perfect balance.
That was fine though, she'd be able to let loose and should she freak out a bit, Hailee wouldn't have to feel it Stupider still, was that she wasn't the one the team that would be searching for Toad. She wanted to find that slimy little freakaziod and dissected his froggy ass. Guilt by association was good enough for her.
"Terrific...There's a mission involving the Brotherhood and I'm not on it...." She sneered. She turned to her twin."I get to find some missing Murlocks...isn't today my lucky day?" Before following her mention and her captain out the door and toward the Blackbird. She saw the two going back and forth about what not to do and Haven shook her head. "Do me a favor will ya,Cap and try not to kill us all, I don't wanna die on a plane, not how I saw my end." She said patted him on the shoulder before taking a seat and strapping herself down tight. She wasn't particularly afraid of heights but she wasn't overly fond of them either.

Autuamn took a breath after Haven calmed herself and listened to the good doctor speak. He was uncomfortable, it didn't take her powers to see that. She knew what it was like, they all did really, to feel like just wishing it would go away, that you could wake up in the morning and just be normal. Tessa and Professor Monroe would have her hide if they heard her say that but it was true. There were days that she just didn't want to hear everyone's conversations and late night...activities, she didn't want to smell when a boy wasn't too hygienic or when a girl was going through her cycle. It was more then she needed to know and sometime it was too much. She abandoned the thoughts and listened on.

Fear struck her then, as Professor Monroe went on about their mission. Toad wasn't going to come easily and she'd have to touch him. She knew she would, if she was going to be any use to the team, she'd have to sense him, sniff him out and try not to gag. She had a swallow a few times not to gag right now. She looked at her team Captain, nervousness and anxiety etched on her soft features. She tried to appear unafraid for her team but Tessa knew her well enough to know better then that. "Well, first mission...This is good. Right...A good thing." She said, though she smiled she looked absolutely horrified.

Austin looked happy when Hank McCoy came in, for he was pretty good allies and friends with the Doctor, he surprising listened through the whole mission briefing as soon as they were finished he walked out to the men's locker and put on his uniform, "First mission, taking down a Brotherhood grunt, this is gonna be sick! I dibs on co-pilot!" He ran to the hanger and sat in the co-pilot's seat next to Flynn and strapped himself in. "This is gonna be sweet!" He had a massive smile on his face. "This thing's got some sick gear!" He admired everything about the Blackbird, "Heavy duty weapons, advanced maneuverability, turbo thrusters, the whole package!" Austin just kept babbling on about the ship, not many were actually listening. Sometimes you couldn't even understand what he was talking about at all, some people found it a nuisance and kinda irritating. Cmon hurry up people, he got a job to do, he thought, he didn't bother saying it aloud because It was quite obvious he was growing a little impatient but he was actually early, so he tried to wait as patiently as he could.

Ana's took in a sharp breath as he mentioned 'The Brotherhood'. Quickly she left the war room and went to her bedroom, she changed into her uniform and then walked to the plane. Without saying a word Ana stepped onto the plane and walked to the cockpit where she typed in a few coordinates into the control panel and sat down on the floor in between the pilot and co-pilot seats. "Knowing Toad, he should be somewhere around there. Also knowing him he's gonna try to throw you off balance, so watch all sides." Ana then stayed quiet for a small time before speaking up again, "Oh. Also, if you want to draw him out. Your best bet would to let me go first..." after saying that she stayed quiet and didn't say another word. Carefully she would envelop herself in a harmless cloud of black smoke, and occasionally she would curse under her breath when the cloud was around her.

It's not that she was doing anything bad, she was just trying to solidify shadows, and more than one time they were weapons. And more than once she would end up hurting herself with them. Anastasia didn't have time to normally practice since Logan mainly focused her on using her teleportation, and how to contain her darkness. The small red head sighed and left the cloud around her dissapear. "No use," she mumbled to herself quietly.

The young woman listened carefully as Hank spoke, debriefing them on their mission. She cursed herself inwardly for not knowing this already for all the time she spent in the slums for fights. Then again, Logan generally tried to make sure that she didn't stay any longer than she needed to once a fight was done. She could definitely see how this drug was a bad thing and it made her sick. How dare they try to tamper with nature! She couldn't help but to be angry at Hank as well. Her mood darkened while the teams were being assigned, angrily shoving her iPad into her backpack. Hank noticed the change in her and reached out but she immediately jerked away from his touch with a scoff. Charles didn't even bother trying to say anything, knowing that it'd be futile. She'd talk about it when she was ready. She headed into the jet, not even bothering to complain about Francis flying the Bird. It was then that Ana spoke up. "Knowing Toad, he should be somewhere around there. Also knowing him he's gonna try to throw you off balance, so watch all sides. Oh. Also, if you want to draw him out. Your best bet would to let me go first..."

“You're going to Nevada. With your team. I'm taking my team to California. I appreciate the information but my team's got this. We'll let you know how it goes when we pick you guys back up.” She gave a sigh and shook her head as she explained to Ana the circumstances. “Pay attention at the meetings. Knowing this stuff is important.” She moved to sit next to Ororo who put a hand on her leg. “What the hell's wrong with them?” Ororo gave a soft smile before giving her leg a soft squeeze. “Relax; She's still a rookie, remember? And she was just trying to help.” Gaea gave a shake of her head, causing her ebony curls to bounce. “Not her. Though she could stand to pay more attention to debriefs. I mean them. Humans. And Hank. What the fuck was he thinking?! What is there to cure? We're not... Diseased!” She felt insulted and betrayed as her voice rose into a yell, bringing a surge of heat that emanated from her body that made the flowers in her hair wilt. “Hank's supposed to be on our side. Not theirs.” Her hands curled into fists and her nostrils flared as she wondered about the mutants that they experimented on, wondering how many of them died... How many weren't willing.

She leaned her head back before getting back up and moving towards one of the panels, pulling open a drawer. She grabbed one of the communication devices, tilting her head and placing it into her ear. She grabbed a few more and placed them into her teammates' ears before heading out of the jet. “I'll be outside.” She made sure that her commlink was working before exiting the hangar. A blast of air under her feet lifted her up to the top of the jet. Placing her hands above her, she parted the metal and concrete with relative ease before shooting up to the basketball court. She had made sure to open the hangar overhead slowly, giving any kids above a chance to exit. She moved over to the fence where she crouched down with a light sigh and pulled her hat off to pull her headphones over her ears. Placing the hat back on, she shifted on her music before pulling out a joint. She was pissed. She used the tip of her finger to light it, inhaling the thick smoke with closed eyes as she felt a familiar, yet foreign, anger well up inside of her, making her skin crawl. “Ace, you be my eyes in the sky when we get to Cali. Reform, you fly with him. Toad runs, you hit the ground and keep him away from general population. Stimuli, you're with me. Steer clear of his tongue and that spit.” She spoke over the commlink to her teammates before turning her music up a bit louder.

Tyler waited patiently for the rest f the teams to come in. Autumn was one of the last to arrive, changed and with a hint of revenge on her face. She sat down next to Tessa and turned her back to Tyler for the briefing. When the Professor started talking Tyler had to disagree with his comment about the War Room. Tyler personally wasn't as much excited as he was filled with doubt. It was obvious to him that he was one of the weak points in any of the teams. He wondered if he had enough training with Cyclops to go on mission and be part of the Alphas.

Only a few seconds after starting Beast entered the room. Tyler really liked him, he was smart and one of the most kind-hearted people Tyler had ever met. It had been a bit strange at first to sit on the couch next to what could best be described as a blue gorilla, but he had gotten used to it. The holographic display showed a bunch of Chinese signs as far as Tyler was concerned. When Beast stepped forward Tyler recognized he was not very happy about the things he would tell them. No genius intellect was needed to see it was going to be personal for him. Hearing about the Brand Corporation Tyler stiffened up a bit. The company was well known to him, or more specifically his father. His father used to be on of the major shareholders of the Roxxon Energy Corporation, the mother company of Brand. When it came out that Brand wanted to create mutants for profit his father had backed out. He was fiercely against anything mutant, and creating more was not really on his to-do list. Tyler living on the street after being disowned by his father kind of had the same origins, were it not his father actually wanted him dead.

From body language Tyler noticed some people snorting at the term 'cure'. He knew the general idea in this place was that there was no cure for their mutation as it was not a disease. Although Tyler agreed with this mostly, he could see some mutants not wanting to be mutants. Beast had no possibility to go up in a crowd, always standing out and always having people judge you must be difficult. For himself, walking around with a constant headache doesn't really spell out the next part of evolution to him, and what of Autumn's panic attacks. Whatever the reason was for mutants to exist, Tyler was pretty sure evolution had nothing to with it. Evolution grows out of necessity, monkeys needed to evolve to walk on two legs, to grow, to survive. Shooting a laser beam out of your eyes is not one of those necessities, neither is controlling the weather, metal or earth itself.

After the briefing Tyler went for the exit of the War Room. Passing Autumn he put her hand on her shoulder and whispered in her ear. "Get home safe." Afterwards he went to his locker in order to put on his uniform. Seeing as they might not want to stand out too much on this mission he threw his street wear in a backpack and took it with him to the garage. Guess flying the Blackbird will be for another time... He had been asking Scott to give him lessons, as he was usually good with any kind of vehicle. It helps of course if your reaction speed is way above a normal person. Seeing the future has its perks. So far Scott had denied him every single time, saying he could only get lessons if his other skills in the field were at a better level.

When walking up to the X-van he saw Cyclops already standing there. Tyler brought up his hand to his forehead. "Spoiler reporting for duty, sir!" He could not suppress a slight smile, although strict, military was not Cyclops style. He threw his backpack in the trunk and walked up to the driver's seat. "Any chance I'm getting the keys today?"Cyclops shrugged his shoulders. "That is a question for your field leader, I'm driving back seat." As she was not there yet Tyler stood next to Cyclops waiting for the rest. He wondered if they would pose as possible buyers, or if he would get in contact with some of his past friends. After all, I've lived on the streets of Brooklyn for about a year.

“Peering through the dark abyss and sensing that something is amiss. Darling Haven has lost it again, with so much hatred and anger... She will never win.”

The soft Jamaican accent of the one known as Enchantress came from within the library, her head lifting as she felt her skin crawl. She could feel the Nether plane fluxing, again, and assumed that it was Haven losing her shit again. She sighed and turned her head as her phone vibrated. She snapped her fingers and closed her books, watching as the phone lifted and turned on. Her head tilted as she read the text with a soft chuckle. She didn't have any plans for the day – She hadn't even bothered showing up for training. She knew that she was going to get an earful from Scott for it, but she had studying to do. The phone clattered to the table as she redirected her attention to the books and papers before her, her strange and bright eyes swirling with the galaxies as the pages turned quickly of their own accord. She was content with the solace and silence found within the library, reveling in her studies. Professor Xavier had given her more research to study and she was determined to analyze every bit of information that he'd given her.

Image She didn't have too long before she received another text, eliciting another sigh from her as she checked her phone again. It was from Francis this time, sent as a group message to rally everyone into the War Room. They had a mission. Giving a nod to nobody at all, she rose from her seat and began to pack her reading material into her bag. Shoving her phone into her back pocket, she waved a hand in front of her before taking a step forward. She disappeared from the library and reappeared in her room in the attic. It was once the room of Ororo Monroe before she took a more...conventional living space. Marigold liked it because it was closed off from everyone else, providing her with time to herself when she wanted it. It also had a lot more space for her to work with. Everything was stored neatly in its place, lit dimly by glowing orbs floating in the air. She hung her bag on a rack before grabbing another. Humming to herself, she moved to a nearby table containing a number of phials and beakers with colorful liquids and dust held within them. “A powder for sleep, blue liquid for ice. A dash of this gold will leave you paralyzed.” She spoke to herself as she equipped herself with her potions and a few crystals before taking a step back, leaving her attic room and reappearing in the locker room just as Tecmessa was leaving.

Unseen, she closed her eyes. “Aures noctuae.” Her voice was a whisper as her fingers traced a short, intricate pattern into the air. Runes of blue glowed briefly before slamming against her snow white face, causing the dark lines that formed a fashionable design to emit the same blue glow as the rune. She felt the magic surge through her with the spell, her head tingling with a delightful rush. “This, my young friends, is the X-Hormone Mutagen. Or as it's more commonly known, Mutant Growth Hormone, MGH for short...” She could hear the discussion going on the the War Room down the hall. She set her bag down and moved to her locker, opening it with a wave of her hand. Her uniform of leather was there, its bright violet trim alluring to her inner fashionista. Snapping her fingers, she replaced the clothes that she had already been wearing with the uniform hanging in the locker. She moved around a bit, rotating her shoulders and doing a few squats to break in the black costume a bit more before grabbing her bag and letting her ponytail down, black curls bouncing against her shoulders. She didn't bother entering the War Room, heading out for the garage. Hearing footsteps approaching, she disappeared through another portal with a wave of her hand, just in time to leave no trace by the time Tyler had entered the locker room.

She could hear Gaea's angry shouting, shaking her head. She felt the same way and knew that there was going to be some venting later. For now, she had to focus on her primary objective – Get to the X-Van, get to Brooklyn, and find the supplier. “This is so 21 Jump Street, though likely a more difficult feat.” She reappeared next to the X-Van, placing her backpack carefully into the trunk. “Keys, please.” She held out her hand as she summoned the keys, no doubt from Cyclops' pocket. Smirking, she slid into the driver's seat and closed the door, not yet starting the vehicle. She waited instead, placing her feet upon the dash and snapping her fingers. Papers appeared in her hand and she was soon reading more of Professor Xavier's work. Her hearing spell faded but she didn't need it to know that Scott and Tyler were right outside of the van. The silent woman of mystery rolled down her window and grinned at the young man. “Sorry, Rookie. But not today. I've lived in the city since I was just a bae. I know them best, it's not even a contest. You can ride in the back and take care of the sacks. Seniority rides front seat on this beat, kids take the rear. We clear?” She offered a grin that, mixed with her facial appearance, looked a bit frightening to most. She could hear Scott chuckling as he got into the van while they waited for Alex and Hailee to show.

Amira was currently laid on her bed starring at the ceiling of her room, she was quite overwhelmed at how big the room was. She wasn't exactly used to having something so extravagant.
When she first arrived at the institute she thought she was just going to be put in another boxed 'room' again, as well as being forced to endure countless amounts of experiments. But quite the opposite happened. Scott and Ororo were the ones who officially introduced her to the professor who made sure to make her feel comfortable as possible, which he had done, and more.

Amira hadn't exactly been at the institute for long, she spent most of her time down in one of the labs with Hank, mainly running tests on her abilities. Since Hank had been able to retrieve her files from the scientists who had tested on her before, not much testing was needed. He only really wanted to know about her limits. Amira enjoyed spending time with Hank as he shared her love of knowledge, if she wasn't in her room she was quite often found with Hank discussing information on the X-gene.

'Amira, you are to join the others who are currently headed towards the Blackbird. You are to suit up and partake in the mission' The sound of Professor Xavier's voice echoed in her mind, causing her to fall off her bed in shock. It was suffice to say she wasn't exactly used to being around other Mutants let alone ones that were capable of communicating with you via telepathy. It took Xavier a few hours to explain about Mutants when she originally arrived at the institute as she always thought she was alone.

Pulling herself up off the ground, she made her way over to the wardrobe that housed most of her clothes including her uniform. Pulling the figure tight leather uniform on was quite hard, it took her a few minutes to fully get it on. Which did include falling over a few times.
Once she was finally clothed she made her way towards hanger bay to meet the rest of her 'team'.

It was safe to say it took Amira a while to find the hanger bay and the others, she had only had one tour of the mansion since arriving and apart from leaving her room to go down to the labs or training room she hadn't explored it much so she got lost a few times before she asked a student for directions.
"If you go into the elevator there and go to the basement level, you will reach it" The student explained to her as she pointed towards the elevator that was directly behind her. Smiling to the girl and nodding her head in thanks. Entering the elevator she pressed the 'Basement' floor button, jolting slightly at the feeling of the compartment going down.

Upon entering the Hanger bay she immediately heard the sound of shouting which caused her to wince slightly. She made her way over towards the rather large black looking jet, and from what she could guess that was the Blackbird.

Upon entering the Blackbird she noticed the few familiar faces, as well as a few unfamiliar faces. Logan turned to look at her, a knowing smirk on his face. "Finally nice of you to join us red" Amira couldn't help but shift uncomfortably under his gaze, she still wasn't used to a lot of people, especially people who weren't hostile.
Shaking his head at her "This is Eternal, as of today she will be joining us in BAM" Logan gestured at her for take a seat before it was too late.
Following his instructions she looked towards everyone else. "Hi.." She spoke barely audible as she adjusted the restraints on her in the seat.
