Within each family held one child who was chosen to wield a gift of the elements in there 19th year. Fire, Water, Earth, Air and Spirit. All gifts were to be used solely to keep peace. Each had its strengths and weaknesses the spirit people always felt below the others because they did not have a physical gift but a mental one. but they held their tongues. That old magic has long since been lost to the families and as the years went on was forgotten all togeather.
It's modern day now but something has caused some old magic to come back to life. Along with spirits lust for ultimate power... 5 people now sent to a private college will soon find out that things are not what they seems and their lives will change forever.

The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 6 authors
"Good Morning Elizabeth!" She called from the kitchen.
"Morning!" She said sitting down and drinking the whole glass of milk that sat on the table.
"My My, you sure do work yourself up." Aunt Jean said pouring another glass for her.
Elizabeth just smiled and dug into her pancakes. Her mind was to full on her new classes and what would happen when she got there. The people she'd meet. She had to get there early to sign up for clubs. She ate quickly and thanked her aunt. She moved to her room. Boxes still stood in the hall and in the room itself. She still had a few things to unpack. She moved in with her aunt to go to this college. To get away from her old life. she dressed quickly and brushed her teeth. She then moved down the stairs grabbing her books and keys and bounding out the door. She got into her truck and headed off.
Traffic wasn't bad. She was still a little early though she parked at the back of the parking lot anyways. When she got out she looked the old building over. It was made of large brown and gray stone. She smiled and headed for the atrium Where first year student where to meet. She had a list of things she needed to sign up for. Track, Archery, Lit and Home Economics. she breathed in deeply and walked inside.
"In here!" Summer sang as she finished her yoga. She was standing on her hands with both knees hovering over the floor beside her arm. Her brother, Winter walked in and rolled his eyes. "Summer. You're going to be late." He said leaning against the doorframe. She smiled at him as she lifted her legs arrow straight into the air and slowly set her feet firmly on the ground. She stood up at him and he rolled his eyes. "Show off." He said. "So says the master chef." She teased and he laugh as she grabbed her yoga mat and bag off the floor. "Well, Zen Master, you need to get ready or you'll be late." He said and she nodded. Nothing could ever rattle her nerves. Winter and Summer. Aptly named. The two couldn't be anymore opposite. Winter was older and after their parents passed away he gained custody of Summer. All he did was worry and rush. While Summer was the picture of relaxtion. He always teased about how she was a Zen Master. It didn't bother her. He was right for the most part.
Summer showered quickly and changed into a cream colored sweater dress adorned with a loose brown belt, cream colored tights and thick brown equestrian style boots. Cream complement her brown skin and made her light brown hair look just a bit darker. She brushed her hair into a half ponytail and lift the other half of her hair spilling over her shoulders. She walked out and smiled at him. He smiled the way a father would. "You look like a college student." He said and Summer smiled. "Winter." She whined a little. "I know, College was always your plan but still now that it's happening it's surreal. You know Mom and Dad would be proud." He said and Summer looked away. She really didn't remember her parents as well as he did. She was 7 when they died while he was 18. It's was a big age difference so her memory was vague. She remembered little things. Like smells but nothing tangible like their faces. They had pictures but it wasn't the same. Winter then walked up to her and hugged her. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have brought them up." He whispered. She shook her head. "No, it's okay. I just wish I could remember." She said and he sighed. "Yea..." There was the ever familiar ding of a cooking timer and Winter rushed to the oven. He pulled out a plate of breakfast sausages and set them on a plate for her. She took a seat at the island and smiled. She was gonna miss the gourmet breakfasts he always made for her. He'd joked once about how she was gonna be sick when it came to cafeteria food. They eat together queitly and quickly both having to shove off early. Thankfully, she'd had her things shipped a few days ago so she didn't have to pack much. It was werid having her room empty. Her paintings weren't on the walls save for the ones she'd gave to Winter who in turn got them framed and posted up around the house. Her clothes weren't in her closet but in suitcases, her wooden easel shipped off to the school along with her paints and brushes. It felt as if she was only visiting. She didn't like that.
It took about two hours for Winter to drive her to the school and she instantly felt better. It was surrounded by nature. Trees as far as the eye can see. She was glad for that. She always hated the city. This was literally a breath of fresh air. She kissed Winter good bye grabbed her suitcase and headed inside.
Grace changed quickly, remembering to grab her phone and bag she was out the door of her so-called apartment. It was really just an apartment that didn't belong to her, but her Father, since he was paying the bills. She was just living in it because it was expected of her, when she really hated the idea of depending on her father for things. Getting into her car, also an object her father bought for her, she drove to the school. She took in a deep breath as she studied the building that held most of her classes. Letting it out, she got of the eclipse and rushed into the school. "Meet it head on, my dear." Jessica smiled down at Grace while holding the handle bars of the bike. "Fear is good, it is natural, but too much fear and you will stand still in the river, never leaping to the next rock." She let go and nudged Grace foward. The memory was so fresh and raw that the knife-of-a-memory dug itself deep into her, almost making her turn tail and run away.
"It's going to be a busy year!" yelled Miss Joy at the other chefs. They all chuckled, knowing the hardships they go through to take care of the students. Personally, Miss Joy thought all of the people attending the college were old enough to buy or make their own lunch. However, she had a passion for cooking, and once she was hired to be a chef (really a lunch lady, though she hates the term) at the school, it was impossible to reject.
Humming a song as she harshly dropped ingredients into the pot, Miss Joy began making the first meal for the students of the year.
Riding on his bike, the wind in his face, his sunglasses shielding the sun from his eyes, Tony was on the move. For days, Tony had been waiting for a chance to see through, and now, he could. What was there more to say? He knew in his heart somewhere that he could do this, that he could succeed, pull it off, go somewhere, become someone! He sighed quietly to himself quickly so as to not get bugs in his mouth. Good god how he hated when that happened! Nature was all around him though, even if most of it was unseen by Mankind's growing advancements to the world. Stopping by a house, Tony got off his bike and settled it down quickly before walking to the door of the home he use to live in. Stopping before the door, he took a deep breath as he sighed out and shook his head before knocking on the door. He could heard the footsteps of someone inside coming towards the door, and when it was opened, there stood his mother. "Tony, what are you doing here?" She asked him, blinking as she looked up at him. "... I know about it mother." He told her. She looked down at this and sighed. "I see... Come in then." She stepped to the side as he entered into the home.
It had started around this morning when it happened. Tony had just gotten out of the shower and headed out to turn the television on when his phone vibrated. He stopped and quickly sat down, taking the phone and looking at it as he pressed several buttons before finally returning the call and putting it on speak. "Hello, Blazing Tony." He said his title with pride, at this point he wouldn't of been surprised if the entire world knew of Blazing Tony. "Hey Tony." His father's voice called out to him as Tony smiled at this. "Oh, dad... What's up? I'm just preparing to --" "Yeah, uh, there's something I need to tell you Tony." Blinking at this, Tony quickly turned off the speaker before putting the phone close to his ear. "Yeah dad?" He asked. And then his father told him... It made Tony raise his brows as he heard every word come from his father. "What? When did this - how did - but - wait - dad!" He tried to say, but his father had hung up before he could say anything word. Tony looked down at the phone and furrowed his brows, returning to the main menu as he put the phone and sighed, putting his face in his hands.
Tony exited the house as he sighed to himself again as he closed the door behind him. "Great..." He mumbled, getting back on his motorcycle as he was off just as quickly as he had come. He adjusted his sunglasses quickly before putting his hand back on the motorcycle, and driving of towards the college. He could only wait now... Wait for life to take a different turn. When Tony arrived at the college, he settled his motorcycle down again before getting off and adjusting his sunglasses. He wore his jacket, his white t-shirt underneath it and his jeans. The usual attire he would wear to a school. With that, he walked towards the college as he went to head inside. Blazing Tony had arrived.

He walked up to the door quietly, collected himself, then burst through the door screaming "wake up!". His brother shot up in bed and Zane continued on with the charade. "Jace! Jace! You're gonna be late for the important job interview! Get up! Hurry!" He shouted, shaking his brother, Jace's shoulders. Jace scrambled up, gathering his clothes and hurriedly putting them on. "Thanks man," he muttered, yanking a shirt on over his head, at the same time yanking pants on that were on the floor. Zane watched as his brother darted down the steps. Then he went back to his room, gathering all his things for college. College. Supposedly one of the best years of your lives. Yeah, thats what they said about high school.
Grabbing a bite from the kitchen, he snickered as Jace zoomed around, shoving two entire pieces of toast in his mouth at the same time. "Waf's so funne?" Jace said through mouthfuls of crumbs. "Zane, what did we say about playing tricks on your brother? Cherish your human connections - the family is one of natures masterpieces." Zane's father said, striding in the room. Zane rolled his eyes, at his fathers usual mumbo jumbo fortune cookie crap. "Wat treek?" Jace said, finally swelling down the last of his toast. Zane raised an eyebrow to his father. Two can play at that game. "You know, if you can't get rid of the family skeleton, you might as well make it dance."
His father stood emotionless, but the look in his eyes made Zane immediately know that he was angry, frustrated, ashamed that Zane had beat him at his own game, and disappointed. How could he tell all this by one look at his father's blank face? If I knew, why would I be asking you? "What trick?" Jace said with more worry. Zane gave him a sly look. "It's monday. Interview's tomorrow smart one." then he made a convincing act of looking at the blank wall with extreme confusion. "Now why would someone write 'gullible' on the wall?" he asked with complete confusion. His brother turned around, then narrowed his eyes evilly at Zane before stomping back up to his room. His father shook his head in haughty derision. "College. First day. Be prepared. And remember, Real knowledge is knowing the extent of one's ignorance." his father said.
------
Zane expertly maneuvered his way through the parking lot, finally finding a spot close to the main building. College is going to be different. Exciting. His face emotionless, he grabbed his stuff and headed for the main building, not really knowing where his dorm was. Suddenly, he walked straight into something. A person. A girl. Great. Clumsy me, he thought, still emotionless. He quickly fumbled to grab his stuff and raised his eyebrow to the bold looking man standing next to her. Great way to start college. "My bad," he said. The girl looked confused, and Zane assumed it was either because of him running into her, or the complex map in her hands. Probably both. "Sorry about that," he said, hiking his pack up on his shoulder.

She smiled when he told her where they were. "Alright," She said and then smiled when he explained further. "Oh, Okay. Thanks alot." She said as he disappeared down the hall. She scratched her head and waved after him. "I'm Summer, by the way!" She called but he'd already left. She reached in her bag and looked for her dorm number. She smiled and frowned at the same time. How strange. She thought. Her room was in the direction he was headed. She made her way to her room. She smiled when she saw him again. "Well, this is me." She said making conversation as she unlocked her door. She opened the door and smiled as all her thing seemed to have arrived. Her easel, her paintings, her clothes. Everything seemed to be in place and the dorm was nice. She seemed to be living alone which was cool and the walls were a really cool. They were green her favorite color. "Sweet."
"Hello everyone and welcome to a new year. I would like to ask that all first years students please report to the theater located in building C. i repeat, could all first year students please report to the theater in building C. There you will pick up your class timetables and and will be welcomes into the college. Have a great first day Bears!"
Elizabeth smiled. Their mascot must be a bear. She reached back and grabbed her student map out of her bag. She was in building B. She would have to go out and walk around. She watched as then flow of students changed and moved towards the doors. She followed trying not be get shoved around to much. Once outside she took a long deep breath and calmed herself. She then started walking and looking down at her map to get a lay of the land. Just as she was coming around a corner she ran right into someone. Making there bag and things inside fall to the ground. Elizabeth started to pick his or her things up.
"I'm so sorry! I wasn't watching where i was going. I'm such an air head sometimes!" She said trying to pick up as much as possible for them.
Tony was walking in to the college-school-place, looking around as he did. He thought it was a good idea to keep his sunglasses on, that way no one could see his eyes for emotion. He hated that trick invented by his parents, even now they did it, and they were good enough to get past the sunglasses. He had only just gotten in less then a minute's time when suddenly, this young woman was walking towards him. He slowly came to a stop in front of her, listening to the chatter of the crowd as she spoke about a map and was handing it to him. Naturally, he took it and looked it over. He furrowed his brows at this and thought she must of been some sort of foreigner - he could read the map just fine. He was about to speak, when, out of the blue, this boy slammed into the girl and dropped his things. He blinked a bit before looking back at the map, trying to remember what she tried to ask, when he felt the map taken forcibly from his hands by the young lady just as quickly as he had taken it at her request. She then started talking to the other boy and they began to converse about the map. "... Okay, leaving now. Never going to see you two again." He stated as he adjusted his sunglasses and left. They didn't hear him, both were off almost as quickly as he was, but not quick enough.
Weekly, Tony watched the show only known as The Elementals. It was a nice popular show that aired a new episode twice a week, Monday and Fridays at 5 P.M. It was an interesting show, as far as Tony knew. The main character, Blaze as he called himself, was a normal kid who went to school and had a group of friends who all hung out when they got the chance. One night, Blaze finds himself confronted by an unknown giant creature of fire who attacks him, and causes Blaze's powers to awaken. Similarly, a creature appears before the others as well, and Blaze finds out that the creature his representation of Fire. The spirit tells him that they were chosen as the next Elementals, a group of people who defended the world from magical incidents which could threaten to destroy all of humanity along with all of life.
Last week's episode showed the conclusion to the three episode storyline, which involved Blaze's cousin, Tony, obtaining fire powers from the antagonist of the series, Entity. He gave Tony a dark fire spirit, which would allow Tony to be just like his cousin. After three episodes of building up to it, Tony finally challenged Blaze to a fight, to which Blaze accepted. Both were standing outside as the wind blew heavily on them both, rain falling down at them, but never hitting them. Blaze glared at Tony's eyes, Tony smirking with confidence as both could see each other's auras. Blaze's aura glowed brightly like a lit flame, while Tony's glowed darkly and was less visible to notice.
"So, I'm curious." Tony spoke, tapping his chin in mocking thought. "First you never tell me that you were really Captain Flame, the leader of the team of Elementals --" "I hate that name they gave me!" Blaze interrupted, looking down for a moment before looking back up. "Sorry, you were saying?" He said as Tony glared at him. "... Never mind, you don't seem to care enough, like always." Tony remarked with a poison like tone to his voice. "No Tony, you are just too arrogant and stupid to realize why I couldn't tell you! It's like Clark Kent being Superman, or Bruce Wayne being Batman, or any other superhero being just that! A superhero!" "So you admit you like being super now." "I HATE IT, TONY! I really do! You know why?! Because people have died before, Tony! I let them down! I couldn't save them! Yet here you are, with powers, thinking you know what it suddenly all means?! I've been envious of you from the moment you started sports! You were better then me, you were the awesome guy, you were the one every lady wanted! I was the loser, the guy who got beat up, yet I was given a chance to do something GOOD for everyone, not ABUSE it like you are now!" "Oh here we go... Saying I'm the bad guy now, are we? After I tried to be nice and talk you into this..." With that, Tony's spirit appeared behind him, only visible to Blaze. "... So this is how you want to this?!" Blaze responded, summoning his spirit behind him too. And then, the two relatives raced towards one another!
Tony was walking along thinking about how the fight was going to go when -- BAM! -- collision course had been set for his fate! Oh and something about bears. What did bears have to do with anything right now? Oh well. He found them landing near each other as they're stuff crashed near each other on top of this. Tony blinked as he readjusted his sunglasses before sitting up and seeing her start to pick up his things. He smiled a little as he started to laugh loudly at this, holding his gut as he did before shaking his head. He then stopped himself and picked up her things while she was finishing picking up his. He then handed over her stuff to her. "Easy now, take deep and steady breaths now... I'd just like my stuff. It seems like people like bumping into each other around here... My name is Tony. What do you call yourself, miss?" Tony asked, watching her for any nervousness or such as he kept his smile. He scratched his head a little at this, thinking to himself. God I must look like a MESS to her right now!

Elizabeth looked the boy over when he said this. He sounded over confident and sarcastic but when she looked up he had a friendly smiled. He was joking. She hadnβt been able to too before but she could now. She picked his books up and noticed that he was a first year student too. She smiled a warm smile. Finally someone in my year. She thought.
βYeah, tell me about it. I got into the gym to sign up for some clubs and sports and i thought i was playing football and I was the running back." She said shaking her head. She handed him his books.
"Nice to meet you Tony, my name is Elizabeth. I could see from your books youβre a first year too. Would you happen to know where that theater thing is? I mean I was just following the crowd but look what that got me." She said with a light laugh as she pushed her hair away from her face as a light breeze came through the court yard.
Elizabeth shifted her old rap-sack to her other shoulder and pulled her map out from her books and looked it over. She wasn't use to so much space. Her old school was all one building in the middle of the city. Now she was half a mile from anything and she lived on a farm not a high-rise. She looked up at Tony hoping he had a clue where to go.
Grace pulled back and visibly slipped on a mistrustful mask onto her face, before whispering out to the girl. "I'm sorry for running into you, I didn't mean to." She tried to smile but failed, epicly, and was only able to frown.
"Elizabeth, huh? Theater, huh? Interesting..." He said, nodding to her as she mentioned something about a theater. He didn't even know he had to go to a theater... He crossed his arms over his chest as he furrowed his brows, thinking. "... Theater? I thought I saw something about a theater... But... I need a map again to remember." He said. He continued to think to himself, his mind going back and forth for some reason as he rubbed his forehead at this. Around this time, a girl named Grace Vincent had bumped into Elizabeth. His mind wondered off at this point...
~ Inferno! The world of fire! ~
Tony imagined himself in the world of The Elementals, walking through the base alone as it seemed quiet. "Where is everyone?" He asked himself, his voice seeming to echo as he checked one room. He quietly pushed the door open to look inside, but found nothing. Drat, no one was there. Tony continued to walk around as he furrowed his brows at this. Shouldn't he be elsewhere...? Shouldn't he be in school? But his thought for fun overcame that, and Tony ran forward until he found the room he needed. The device that could send him into Entity's realm! He knew how to turn the machine on, placing his hand on the top of it as it glowed with life! It worked, and he was ready to go! So he backed up and raced forward, leaping forward into the portal and...!
... Finding himself floating in front of three beings. Each of them had something to do with fire, as they all stared him down. The first one stood to his left, glaring at him with caution as it's body looked like it had to do with the element of fire. The second one looked like it's tail had to do with the element of fire, but it was the biggest of the three. Standing in the center, it glared down at him with hatred and fury, ready to crush him at a moment's notice! The third was the least obvious of why it was with the element of fire. It stood to his right, floating highest in the sky above the ground while having it's arms crossed against it's chest. All three looked at each other as they each created a ball of fire in front of them as they fired it at him.
... Then all was blank for a bit, as he stood there in the real world, staring off into space.
"Here maybe you can find it on.... Ah!" Elizabeth was cut off when a girl raced into her.
Elizabeth heard a loud smack and the sound of plastic breaking. She looked down to see the girls lap top sitting on the pavement. Elizabeth hoped it hasn't broken though the sound of rattling when the girl picked it up made Elizabeth guess that it had.
"It's alright, it seems bumping into people is something I'm good at too." She said looking at tony with a small smile.
"I hope your lap top isn't broken to much." She said trying to give the most sympathetic look she could. Elizabeth turned back to tony and smiled.
"Can you find it on there?" Elizabeth asked with a smile.

Note: Also, I feel that if we do get a posting order, there should be a time limit for how long we should wait before we can skip this person's turn if they do not send a word in if that person's turn should be skipped, whether they're going away for a while or so on like that. Just a quick suggestion I thought up and wanted to put down before I forgot it.
Re: The Five Elements
If another issue like this (ie personal issues) comes up throught the RP I DO NOT want to see it here!
Re: The Five Elements
Two, Summer never handed him the map. She was still looking at it when she asked him about it so it was never "snatched" out of his hand. She held it out for him to look at.
Three, If you have an issuse with a post of mine. I'd would appreciate it if you spoke to me about before you throw a mini fit in the OOC. So again, I do apologies for -as you put it- "ignoring" your character which is not necessarily the case seeing as I mentioned yours and Haas33 characters in my intial post but I would have had no problem editing my next post had you come correctly and directly to me about the situation. It was an easy fix. All you have to say was "Malice, you left out my chara!" and I'd been like. "Oh, my bad, Let me fix that." without a problem. So for future reference. Please. If you find an issue with me post. Let me know calmly and I will have no problem fixing it.
*Edit* I still plan on fixing my mistake. I'll have Summer apologies to him when they see each other again.
I do not mean to start a fight but yea. I'd rather if someone has an issue with me. They tell me before getting upset to the point that -in your case- you feel the need to react the way you did.

Re: The Five Elements
Since I'm a bit pissy at the moment, I'll use my example in a nicely manner. My character enters school, girl bumps into him. Girl asks him about map, but before he can, emo-type comes in and bumps too. Girl asks HIM instead about the map thing, and, well, they both just ended up ignoring me out of the scene. So yeah, thanks for leaving me with that one you two.
But yes. Because of this matter, I feel like a posting order should be up. Just letting you know Aira. Don't know when my post will be up now... Need to calm myself and such.
