Introduction
The main conflict will be how the supernatural creatures react to the first Vampire coming to town. Some may flock to join him, some may oppose him; but there is one thing for sure. The Impaler is going to change Elkhunt forever, maybe the rest of the world.
Any race you can think of is allowed in this RP, if you want to be a human with abilities or maybe even a hunter that's fine with me. You could be wandering into town hoping to find a new home or just drifting. You could be someone who has lived in Elkhunt for a long time. You could be the leader of the local Vampire Coven or the Alpha for a werewolf pack.
Just post the character sheet in the description.

The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 8 authors
The night was unnaturally dark, even for a town like Elkhunt where snow storms made the nights blacker then many were used to. A figure wrapped in a cloak that pulsated with darkness waded his way through the storm to the town of Elkhunt. The dark figure passed by a dog chained outside of a house, the dog started to bark but then whimpered when a pair of piercing red eyes flashed out of the darkness at it. The figure lifted his head up and sniffed the air, a menacing smile spread across his face. This town will be easy pickings, and the prey that live here will make fine meals. All who could not sleep that night would talk the next day about a cold laugh they had heard in the wind.
The dark figure known as Dracula walked through the street looking for a house to stay in. He approached a house, knocking on the door loudly, knowing he would not be able to enter unless whoever answered invited him. So he would play the part of the lost traveler.. for now.
The door opened and a young girl in her teens stood before him. His eyes flashed and he said sadistically, "May I come in? It's so cold outside." The girl stood hypnotized and nodded and beckoned him in. The door shut behind Vlad as he began to laugh.
The morning came and the police came to a local house hold after neighbors reported noises at night. The police came in and found the entire family torn to bits, the Vampire there last night was hidden though, waiting to make his next strike. No one would find him in the basement of the house, filled with darkness.
He left in rage. No one could treat a mighty prince with that tone. A cold chill ran through his back as he realized his predicament. Was his people truley not in control of this land? In fact he had not seen anything other than humans since he came. Sahlidian walked to a bench, sat, and put his face in his hands to mutter. "Where am I? When am I?"
Morwen sat in her usual spot behind the counter. She had just sold a bouquet and one of her sister's 'Longer life for Flowers' potion. She looked out the window and more supernaturals had arrived. "Nerry!" She shouted. "Are you up yet?" She listened as heavy footsteps ran around up stairs and then a large thud. "Oh my gods, what has she done?" Morwen left her spot and climbed the stairs. She knocked once and walked in, Nerwen was lying on the floor with one boot on and her dress on back to front.
Nerwen
She grinned at Morwen. "Hello Morry." She lifted herself off the ground and adjusted her dress so it was the right way round. "Okay." She looked up to her sister. "Yep, I'm up." She then remembered it was her day off, "Hey! It's my day off." She told her sister. "You aren't spending it in bed." Nerwen frowned at her sister, when her sister turned to walk down the stairs, she stuck her tongue out and followed her sister. She climbed over the counter and left the shop. She noticed the two strangely dressed men. "I didn't know it was halloween." She shrugged and skipped her way towards the forest. "I'll make an outfit later."
Immortality... it lasted too damn long, but for now there was flowers. Kul handed his cane to Krell, who tucked it under his free arm with the usual machine proficiency, and Kul bent down to pluck a rather lovely looking purple flower. Coming from Egypt... such flowers were rare. Of course there was flowers in Egypt especially around the great Nile, but the desert was depressingly harsh to all things green. They were close to the town... closer then they had come in a long, long time.
She looked like an elf, and if someone looked like an elf, said a flower was pretty, and was in the woods when most girls her age would have been playing on their... what did they call them? Yes, phones, then she was an indeed an elf. "Maybe if it lived too long, we would no longer appreciate its beauty. What do you think?" He asked, it had been a few years since he had conversation. His visitors were far and few in between, and he did not venture into the town often sending Krell in his place to get things for the cabin and more books with which to occupy his time.
"Thank you for the gift." Kul said adding in the purple flower before taking the bouquet. He assumed she most likely did do it out of a sense of familiarity, when stuck in a unfamiliar situation, the smallest familiar actions helped to center the mind.
"Forgive my manners." Kul said before motioning to the large immobile being, "He is Krell, and my name is..." He stopped pausing, he did remember his name, but it had been thousands of years since it was spoken, "I am called Kul."
The first loud clap of Thunder heralded the onset of the storm as large, fat raindrops began to pepper down across the forest and town, gradually increasing in speed and torrent until, within a matter of minutes the whole of Elkhunt Ridge was sitting in a sudden downpour.
Thunder clapped again and this time a vivid streak of forked lightning lit up the dark, brooding sky as forest animals and townsfolk alike began to scurry for cover...
Again the lightning flashed and again the thunder roared across the sky as if the entire Wild Hunt was riding across the sky this day.
A third fork of lightning lanced down suddenly, accompanied by another boom of thunder and this time... it struck home!
A small clearing out in the forest was instantly decimated as the lightning struck the earth with a thunderous explosion of white light that sent shock-waves pounding out through the surrounding forest, uprooting trees and scorching undergrowth for a good mile in every direction...
Then there was silence as slowly, the rain began to ease off and suddenly, the sun broke through the centre of the clouds, shining a single, bright beam of light straight down onto the scorched earth of the clearing, where the lightning had struck.
Suddenly, the sunbeam seemed to erupt into a vivid hue of colours as an enormous rainbow streaked down along its length, people watching from the town would later swear they saw in touch down somewhere in the forest...
As suddenly as the vision had appeared, it as gone, the clouds began to drift lazily once more, seemingly absent their former purpose and a dull drizzle began to fall.
Out in the forest... All was still...
Save for the lone figure now kneeling in the centre of the scorched clearing.
Slowly, the figure began to unfold, rising to its feet and stretching to its full height the towering, broad shouldered Warrior shook back his mane of golden hair and opened his eyes...
Br'nard Even'star, chosen Warrior of Valhalla took in his surroundings as he slowly rotated his massive shoulders and thick neck, easing out the kinks before raising his head and sniffing the breeze, much like a wolf scenting its quarry.
This was the right place, the creature he sought was here somewhere and... It was not alone.
The Barbarian grinned a savage grin, the weak sunlight glinting off surprisingly long, sharp canines... A whole town and forest full of supernatural beings.
But only one was the Demon he sought.
The Warriors brows furrowed as above the thunder rumbled again, seemingly reflecting his mood....
The Demon... Or its followers were here somewhere and when he found them... His vengeance would be terrible, the foul creatures would scream in pain and terror for their crimes before he sent their souls screaming back to Hel... Or Hades or Satan or whichever foul deity had manifested them, he cared not.
Stepping forward, The Einherjar strode from the clearing and disappeared between the trees, moving in the direction of Elkhunt...
The Warriors head moved slowly from side to side as he walked, talking in his surroundings and continuing to scent the air like a predator closing in on its quarry.
The forests various animals and other, darker, creatures fled before the Einherjar, or sought to burrow deeper into their hidden lairs, the place seemed eerily quiet and deserted save for the crunch of Br'nard's tread and the dull patter of rain on the canopy above.
Breaking his stride momentarily to vault over a fallen tree with surprising agility for one so large, The Barbarian continued on his path, there were many scents in the damp forest air, including one that smelt distinctly Elfin and another that was something like old bones and dusty rooms...
But neither were the creature he sought, The Demon whose brutal slaughter at his own hand would finally set the departed souls of his Clan to rest.
The Einherjar's frown deepened as he increased his pace... If it was here, he would find it, if not he would track it to the very ends of the Earth...
The Warrior had already waited so long for this day of reckoning...
The Einherjar frowned slightly as he approached, an Elf girl and a Human boy... Neither was the creature he sought.
Raising his eyes to the horizon, The Barbarian predicted himself to be around halfway through the forest, the town lay ahead and with it, perhaps a lead on the Demon he hunted.
Nodding to the pair as he passed, Br'nard strode on down the dirt track towards his destination...
The sound of the wind, or maybe a cold laugh, still whispered in the back of her mind as a memory she would rather forget, but she simply couldn't. Ikiluk was beginning to wonder if a small, snowy town was right for her. Once again, her inactive nature had put her in an uncomfortable position. She kept thinking back to the chills that the wind had brought to her -- she refused to believe that a laugh alone could make her shiver -- and what had caused a gust to induce anxiety.
She went through her usual morning routine and prepared for the day to come. Her small house was cleaned, and her dishes done; her closets were checked and her shirts shaken; her laundry was completed, and everything was set out to dry. By the time Ikiluk was finished, a storm was pouring down.
Looking out the window while shrugging on proper clothing, she made her way out and went to see what was going on. In her lethargic cleaning, it seemed a large portion of the morning was already gone. Ikiluk closed her front door and leaned against it, letting the elements hit her as she examined the world.

Br'nard wondered briefly how such blind creatures managed to survive in a forest full of predators... Not to mention with the possibility of a powerful Demon presence in town...
This 'Elkhunt' would be easy pickings for any would be Warlord of that there could be no doubt.
Leaving the seemingly blind trio behind him, The Barbarian pushed on between the tree trunks as the forest began to thin out on all sides, up ahead, the skyline of the town came into view...
She ran a hand through her hair, glancing back up at the sky. It was hard to think that, in that little town, thousands of little scenarios were playing out at that very moment, some connected to others, and others connected to none. She had a bad feeling, but there was nothing she could do about it at the moment. Her scenario would just have to be executed without hesitation.
Ikiluk pushed herself away from her door and slowly walked down a road, taking in her surroundings. She felt like she should have fled the area, as she had so many times, but there really was no fun in that. Every fleeing led to her being alive and well, in a new small town, living a new life. Maybe she had just eaten something odd. Whatever it was, she was sure that it would pass.

Re: The Vampire King comes to town.
Mm as for Kul.. there are a few things that would prompt him into action:
1. Anyone he sees as a great enough threat, he may decide to remove as he still fears death. Death for him is more final that it is for others. His soul doesn't go anywhere, it ceases to exist. All that he is will end for eternity, but at the moment, as far as Kul is concern, Vlad is just an elder vampire who has just gotten his feet wet in the arts of Necromancy, hardly strong enough to force him to move to action.
2. There are still groups out in the world looking to end Kul's 'evil' once and for all. Kul is tired of the endless running and fighting, so if Vlad, or anyone, were to flood the town with high-level necromantic spells, he may decide to enter the battle in order to 'shut up' the one that is drawing unwanted attention.
3. Kul always pays his debts, so if he owed someone something large, they could potentially ask him for a favor. One favor. Bring someone back to life, kill someone, teach them something powerful... one favor, but he does not owe anyone here that large of a favor.
Re: The Vampire King comes to town.
Pfft... I like your description of Vlad.... xD
Re: The Vampire King comes to town.
As for why Vlad is doing it (I am just pondering it), he could just be a pathetic, self-pitying emo kid who can't kill himself thus fights until someone can kill him. He could deeply hate himself, and be projecting that hate onto everyone (and everything) around him. He could feel alone in the world and want everyone else to suffer as he is, so he will have 'company' although I use the term lightly.
Re: The Vampire King comes to town.
Anyways, I'm personally still extremely confused as to why Vlad's doing this in the first place. Seriously, it's wasteful. Aaric's probably going to ask him at some point... she's extremely curious after all.
Hmmm random question, what would provoke your character to fight? For Aaric, the obvious answer would be to protect someone.

Re: The Vampire King comes to town.
Alucard's going to get 45-500 of his consumed souls asses kicked in this fight. 500-3000 the next and 3000-10000 the third. With this if we survive the 12,000th fight he is sooo dead
Re: The Vampire King comes to town.
Not to mention you get to be a character who literally wants to die (But can't grasp the concept of suicide as it goes against their psychology), and a buff ass bearded man with an orange Mohawk. For the win.
Now I want to make one... >.> maybe tomorrow.
"Killing the beastie will be a mighty deed, and dying in the attempt will be a mighty doom!"
'Nough said.
EDIT: I never said it took forever to gather his power back. He has a pretty normal magic regeneration. It only takes him forever to get his power back when he has been torn to shreds and spread around the world... for obvious reasons... kinda have to have your body parts crawl back together.
Re: The Vampire King comes to town.
Sahlidain's greatest weakness his pride so lure him into anything that isn't obvious danger.
Kul is straight up fragile and takes forever to gather his powers back
The elves/samurai are limited solely by the race that they picked
Alucard could possibly be stronger than Thor just because of his 6,000,000 lives. So the only way to defeat him is in the same way as the manga. Imprison or seal magic.
So in truth you just can't build a character right for this because it's so damn magic heavy and your just a heavy DPS type of player

Re: The Vampire King comes to town.
Too much overpowered anime going on and every-time someone tries to inject a note of sanity or collaboration Roku here pops up with some smart arsed comment about how 'This character could kill yours because...'
If I had wanted an all powerful, unstoppable, character I would have simply armed Br'nard with Mjolnir... Or just gone the whole hog and used Thor himself!
Far too much Power-playing here for my taste.
So I'm going to call it quits on this one, people, hope the rest of the Roleplay goes well but it's really not my scene.
Cheerio folks.

Re: The Vampire King comes to town.
And again no, in the Original novel he was a Transylvanian Count of noble bearing, your thinking of 'Orlock.'

If your going to use Dracula, use the Bram Stoker original or don't bother.
