Introduction
The main conflict will be how the supernatural creatures react to the first Vampire coming to town. Some may flock to join him, some may oppose him; but there is one thing for sure. The Impaler is going to change Elkhunt forever, maybe the rest of the world.
Any race you can think of is allowed in this RP, if you want to be a human with abilities or maybe even a hunter that's fine with me. You could be wandering into town hoping to find a new home or just drifting. You could be someone who has lived in Elkhunt for a long time. You could be the leader of the local Vampire Coven or the Alpha for a werewolf pack.
Just post the character sheet in the description.

Morwen
Morwen sat behind the counter, listening to the storm and wondering why Nerwen hadn't come back. She closed the shop early and wandered outside, the storm had mysteriously vanished. "Why didn't I see this?" She started to walk towards the forest. She passed many friends and neighbours, smiling and waving to them as she passed. She couldn't see Nerwen anywhere near the edge. She started to panic, she lifted the long skirt of her dress and started to run. "Nerry!" She screamed, stumbling over roots and plants. She could she 2 men and Nerwen, she seemed panicky. "Get away from my sister!" She screamed, forming a flame in her hand.

The Warrior tilted his head to one side as he watched the girl approach, he could tell she was not human but beyond that...
Br'nard inhaled deeply once more, scenting the air, there was a sense of magic about this creature, perhaps a skin changer of some type?
The Warrior sniffed again... Ah Water sprite he decided, silently, the same creature that had once warned the Hero Sigurd during his great saga.
Standing in the centre of the path, legs planted firmly apart, The Barbarian waited for the girl to draw closer before raising a hand in greeting,
"Hail Nixe,"
He greeted her with a nod, before jerking his head towards the distant rooftops of Elkhunt,
"Do ye ken much about the town over yonder?"
Nerwen
"Yep that's her." She told him. "I came in here because of the storm. The village was to far and the canopy was perfect shelter." She shouted over to her sister and took note of the fire ball in her hand. She focused on her magic and formed a water ball which she threw at her sister's fire ball. She was then being pulled from where she stood. "Bye bye." She said to the men with a small wave.

Suddenly giggly, she tugged off her uniform shoes and knee-high socks, threw them to the ground beside her schoolbag, and dashed into the water, squealing loudly as it lapped against her legs. It was cold, FREEZING cold, and the ground was slimy with algae, but it was fun anyhow. She felt safe enough to have this much fun, in what she called "Coven Mio", for no apparent reason. It was just a small bit of the lake pushed up against the rocks, with trees and the road not too far away for her to flee if spotted.
Many loud noises threatened her, and her instincts screamed for her to run away, but she stayed put, shaking her head stubbornly. Whatever issue they had, they didn't have it with her, and she had no reason to run like a scared child. In fact, she might even put up a fight if anyone attacked her. But a re-assessment of the powers prickling in the air gave her pause. Scratch that, she would put up a fight to CERTAIN attackers, and others, she would simply flee.
She felt foolish, knee-deep in lake water, the hem of her uniform absorbing some of the licking spray, hair wildly whipped about her face from her sprint to get here. She was supposed to be an adult, yet here she was, giggling like...well, like a school girl. Which made it all the more foolish.
Morwen
"By the gods." She stopped and pulled her sister in front of her. "It's a bloody tree. There's many more." She said to her in a strict and cold voice. "Now we are going home." She said pointing to the village.
When they reached the village, Morwen dragged Nerwen straight back to the shop. Once inside, Morwen kept her voice cold and strict. "You are to never go near the forest ever again, not even to the edge. Now go to your room." She pointed to the stairs and Norwen walked over to them in a huff. "You used to be fun." She heard her whisper before she went up the stairs. Morwen turned around and opened up the shop again.
"I will remember your name." Kul said simply, and he would, he never forgot anything. Where was what? Was she waiting for someone? If she was curious as to why it was so quite, animals could sense Kul... aura of death and so never came close to him. Dogs and wolves would bark and cower at his presence... usually preferring to run if possible.
"Rain? How odd." Kul said, it showed no signs of rain before. Thousand clashed and rain pattered, and while the elf ran for cover, Kul and Krell remained where they were. They could not feel the rain as it pattered against their bodies as all his nerves were long gone. This form only added a layer of complex and advanced illusion, one of his own making. Well, it was a couple of layers of complex and advanced illusion spells which would fight off dispels or pesky little people trying to peer through it.
"It is not magic." Kul said watching the lightning bolts flash, most likely something more.. Divine. The skies were not the domain of wizards and magic, they were the domain of something else, but before he could tell Nerry to control herself and calm down, she screamed and fled leaving him behind. "Children." Kul said shaking his head. "Come Krell, thanks to the rain people will be inside, let us go get somethings from the town while we have such time."
"Yes." Ikiluk inclined her head in confirmation. Greetings seemed like too much trouble for the moment. Ken, if she wasn't mistaken, came from the Scots, but whether or not the male in front of her was Scottish was another story completely.
He clearly wasn't human, or, at least clearly to her. She wasn't exactly sure what he was, but, the longer she stayed near him, the more she was sure that he wasn't exactly there. He was clearly there, physically, mentally, enough to have a presence and intelligence, but there was just something not right about him.
Ikiluk began to think back to Norse Mythology, being Norse herself. Einherjar briefly passed through her mind, but she tossed it aside. It was silly to think that he was an einherjar, just because she was a nixe -- yet another creature of Norse Mythology.
After a moments silence, the Warrior tilted his head slowly to one side and continued to peer at the Rhinemaiden, the elusive creatures were known to be helpful to travellers only when it suited them... And often the old legends had them down as tricksters and temptresses.
Finally, Br'nard shrugged his broad shoulders and stepped past her, knowing that if she intended to give him a proper answer she would have done so by now.
"Till we meet again then, Rhinemaiden,"
The Einherjar spoke by way of farewell as he passed the Sprite upon the path and resumed his measured stride towards the town, the rooftops of which loomed ever closer now through the gathering dusk.
Something in her head began to scream that someone dangerous was near, and she skittered to a stop, panting heavily. There was a man, a large, barrel-looking man standing on the sidewalk, and something about him screamed power. He was side-tracked for the moment, but she had a feeling that he was still extremely aware of everything around him. Leli couldn't move, she stood stock-still across the street, staring at him. She had never seen him in Elkhunt before. Why was he here? What did he want? What exactly WAS he? The tiny shifter trembled, but she wasn't sure if she should be scared...or excited?
Kul and Krell contiuned their walk, but once again another odd person showed up, this one a young girl who was splashing through the rain then just... stopped staring at the man from before. Perhaps the girl was just shocked at being seen? Did her instincts tell her something? What weird people... Well, it really wasn't his concern as this much rain could damage the flowers Krell was carrying for him that the young elven girl had given him. "Come Krell... let us at least cross the street, hopefully the young woman will realize she looks rather foolish at the moment."

All seemed quiet as dusk began to fall, the Einherjar's boots scraped over the cobbles as he walked slowly through the rapidly deserting streets... there was a certain fear in the air here.
The Barbarian frowned, something about this settlement did not feel right... A sure sign that his Quarry could well be nearby...
Br'nard paused as his keen eyes spied movement, a small, dripped we slip of a girl was standing in the centre on the street, apparently mesmerised by something she was seeing...
The Einherjar's brows bunched like thunder heads as he spotted it, the tall dark figure swooping down towards the girl, cape billowing, eyes ablaze and fangs exposed...
Only one creature moved like that...
"Hold bloodsucker!"
Even'stars voice rang out across the street as above, the thunder grumbled in response.
The Einherjar took strode forward and positioned himself between the girl and the predator.
"Try me instead."
He growled, his eyes blazing like twin chips of burning ice as they fixed themselves upon the soulless, scarlet sockets of the creature...

Dropping to one shoulder, Even'star rolled heavily out of the path of his foes attack, coming swiftly back up to his feet a few paces away.
Reaching back, The Einherjar gripped the haft of his battleaxe and unsheathed the weapon in a flash of Dwarven steel!
Grasping his axe firmly in a two handed grip, Br'nard powered forward on the attack, bringing the mighty weapon up and cleaving it down in one mighty stroke-
Aiming just to the side of his foes head, The Einherjar looked to shatter the vampires collar bone and hew him to the dust in one, fell, savage blow..!
Setting

Leaning back, The Barbarian allowed the blade to scour him across the chest, leaving a vivid, bloodied trench running across Br'nard's bare torso.
Locking eyes with the creature, The Einherjar grinned savagely as his own wound began to heal, the flesh knitting together before the very eyes of his attacker.
If there was one thing a Viking knew how to do, it was boast...
Now Br'nard's eyes narrowed as he circled his opponent, looking for an opening....
Gripping his massive, two handed battle axe tightly, the Barbarian swung it up to the side once more... And this time there was an explosion of light...
The runes etched along the axe head began to glow a vivid crimson as tendrils of white hot flame began to flicker across the blade, as if it were coated in burning oil...
The flames suddenly whipped up in a sudden gust of wind as tendrils of fire began to wind down Br'nard's arms and flicker across his body....
Shadows danced as the Einherjar seemed to grow in stature, his muscles swelling and veins standing out along his arms in stark relief...
Suddenly, Br'nard bought the Battleaxe crashing down onto the cobbles of the street which instantly began to bubble and melt as, with a mighty roar a great wave of fire sprang from the point of impact and surged towards the Vampire in an onrushing torrent of flaming fury...!
Nerwen sat by her window and looked out to see a giant fire. "Oh the gods are making this day entertaining." She opened her window and climbed onto the roof. She ran along the rooftops, jumping from roof to roof. She then dropped down, manipulating the air to stop her fall. She landed and ran to what she thought was a safe distance, it was 2 men fighting. The sense of norse magic from the giant made her left ear twitch and she could sense death and darkness from the other man.
Setting

Kanaye told the man he was with before that he would be in town if he needed him. He wandered off towards town and felt something uneasy on the air, he wandered towards the source of the feeling and saw two figures locked in combat. He saw one of the Elven sisters from before and approached her, "I wouldn't get into this yet, if the fight starts to harm civilians then we should intervene."
He sensed a flair of magic that came from a different direction, and so he turned his head spotting the same elf girl from before. He lifted the cane and used it to wave at her, not sure if she could see him or not, but he felt it was best, also if she was closer, he could be sure to protect her if things got rough. It would be a fair trade, ensuring she did not get hurt in return for the flowers.
She came across the scene of two figures and the barbarian -- whose name still remained a mystery to her -- and she backed off, settling in a place to watch the fight. She had heard legends of those who would fight non-human creatures for "higher beings", but never had she seen an actual fight. This was a once in a hundred life-time chance, and she was going to take it.
Again, her eyes drifted to the figures, particularly the girl. She felt her heart drop. Would she get hurt in the crossfire? Was it worth it to help her? Perhaps not. Ikiluk straightened her posture from her watching place and tensed in preparation to run. To fetch her or not to fetch her was a difficult question.
Mentally hitting herself, Ikiluk edged around the fighting duo and went to Leli, giving her no time to ask questions. She tugged her away from the fight. There was no telling how bad it would become with divine and darkness fighting. The clash was older than any of the creatures in the town, and it wasn't her place to leave someone in the middle.

Re: The Vampire King comes to town.
Mm as for Kul.. there are a few things that would prompt him into action:
1. Anyone he sees as a great enough threat, he may decide to remove as he still fears death. Death for him is more final that it is for others. His soul doesn't go anywhere, it ceases to exist. All that he is will end for eternity, but at the moment, as far as Kul is concern, Vlad is just an elder vampire who has just gotten his feet wet in the arts of Necromancy, hardly strong enough to force him to move to action.
2. There are still groups out in the world looking to end Kul's 'evil' once and for all. Kul is tired of the endless running and fighting, so if Vlad, or anyone, were to flood the town with high-level necromantic spells, he may decide to enter the battle in order to 'shut up' the one that is drawing unwanted attention.
3. Kul always pays his debts, so if he owed someone something large, they could potentially ask him for a favor. One favor. Bring someone back to life, kill someone, teach them something powerful... one favor, but he does not owe anyone here that large of a favor.
Re: The Vampire King comes to town.
Pfft... I like your description of Vlad.... xD
Re: The Vampire King comes to town.
As for why Vlad is doing it (I am just pondering it), he could just be a pathetic, self-pitying emo kid who can't kill himself thus fights until someone can kill him. He could deeply hate himself, and be projecting that hate onto everyone (and everything) around him. He could feel alone in the world and want everyone else to suffer as he is, so he will have 'company' although I use the term lightly.
Re: The Vampire King comes to town.
Anyways, I'm personally still extremely confused as to why Vlad's doing this in the first place. Seriously, it's wasteful. Aaric's probably going to ask him at some point... she's extremely curious after all.
Hmmm random question, what would provoke your character to fight? For Aaric, the obvious answer would be to protect someone.

Re: The Vampire King comes to town.
Alucard's going to get 45-500 of his consumed souls asses kicked in this fight. 500-3000 the next and 3000-10000 the third. With this if we survive the 12,000th fight he is sooo dead
Re: The Vampire King comes to town.
Not to mention you get to be a character who literally wants to die (But can't grasp the concept of suicide as it goes against their psychology), and a buff ass bearded man with an orange Mohawk. For the win.
Now I want to make one... >.> maybe tomorrow.
"Killing the beastie will be a mighty deed, and dying in the attempt will be a mighty doom!"
'Nough said.
EDIT: I never said it took forever to gather his power back. He has a pretty normal magic regeneration. It only takes him forever to get his power back when he has been torn to shreds and spread around the world... for obvious reasons... kinda have to have your body parts crawl back together.
Re: The Vampire King comes to town.
Sahlidain's greatest weakness his pride so lure him into anything that isn't obvious danger.
Kul is straight up fragile and takes forever to gather his powers back
The elves/samurai are limited solely by the race that they picked
Alucard could possibly be stronger than Thor just because of his 6,000,000 lives. So the only way to defeat him is in the same way as the manga. Imprison or seal magic.
So in truth you just can't build a character right for this because it's so damn magic heavy and your just a heavy DPS type of player
Re: The Vampire King comes to town.
Re: The Vampire King comes to town.
Too much overpowered anime going on and every-time someone tries to inject a note of sanity or collaboration Roku here pops up with some smart arsed comment about how 'This character could kill yours because...'
If I had wanted an all powerful, unstoppable, character I would have simply armed Br'nard with Mjolnir... Or just gone the whole hog and used Thor himself!
Far too much Power-playing here for my taste.
So I'm going to call it quits on this one, people, hope the rest of the Roleplay goes well but it's really not my scene.
Cheerio folks.

Re: The Vampire King comes to town.
And again no, in the Original novel he was a Transylvanian Count of noble bearing, your thinking of 'Orlock.'

If your going to use Dracula, use the Bram Stoker original or don't bother.
