Kaju'ha {CL}

Hugs, food, cookies, ice-cream. Did I already say food? Who doesn't love food?

0 · 743 views · located in Astrius Academy Dorms

a character in “The Multiverse”, as played by Jimmy_John

Description

Kaju'ha, at your service.

Image
Physical description
It's clear that Kaju'ha has scars around both his eyes, along with a fairly noticeable one on his right cheek. He has another scar going down his back, a bit jagged. kaju'ha's apparel is hard to describe. However, like his brother William, Kaju'ha has severe burns over his lower back area. {As I have no idea what to call his apparel in the picture.} His height is 5'7, still shorter than his brother, Trejik. Both his eyes are a different color. His left eye is a white-ish color, while his right looks a bit orange-ish. Which goes well with his messy-ish brown hair.

Personality
Kaju'ha was made a clone from the original Kaju'ha. He doesn't carry the personality of the original. This Kaju'ha is a kind soul. He is very ambitious, young, adventurous. Willing to try new things. Explore new options. Expand his knowledge of any type of magic. Kaju'ha also enjoys a lot of food. He's a kind soul who'd never do anything to hurt anything except flies. He hates the flies with a burning passion.

Equipment & Abilities
Kaju'ha carries around a blade, although being born in an era where swords were for people considered insane. As the saying goes. Never bring a sword to a gunfight. He's imbued his magical essence to the sword, so he never dies unless the blade is destroyed. As for Abilities, all his magical properties were locked away by his brother, Trejik, so he was never dragged into a war. Protected, no matter the cost.

Historical Background

Age: 16

{Work in progress}

---------------------------------------------------------------------------Magical Properties---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Magical manifestation
Lacking. Being one of the youngest of "failed" experiments, Kaju'ha lacked power. He has only ever manifested his powers once, but it lacked such force and power that it was considered a fluke. His sword, however, took that small manifestation. Kaju'ha will never know what it's like to have powers until someone shows him how to force it out through immense training.
-----------------
Knowledge on magic
It can be considered insanely high. Although Kaju'ha himself lacks magic and its properties, that never stopped him from learning about it. Knowing when someone begins to manifest their powers, to how strong it is. This is about the extent of "magic" he has. It isn't even magic really. He was born with eyes that tell him such things. Hence why they're a different color.
-----------------
Endurance: ranging from Magic, mentally, and physically...

Magic endurance
Kaju'ha has excellent Magic resistance/absorption. Although his absorption does nothing, as his body just releases the energy as a harmless energy. This does not help himself in general to manifest his own magical powers.
-----------------
Mental endurance
Kaju'ha's mental endurance isn't so good. Being innocent at heart also effects his mind. Even though he's been in a war, Kaju'ha's mental attitude is lower than the average person. Making him susceptible to manipulation from other people
-----------------
Physical endurance
Just like his magical endurance, Kaju'ha can absorb damage physically. But that can only handle so much before it fails to contain it all. This endurance is weaker than his magical endurance as well.
-----------------
Intelligence
It depends. At some points, he can be smart. At other times, he can be extremely stupid and oblivious. His mind's intelligence is an on and off situation.
-----------------
Attitude
Optimistic. Kaju'ha always aims to see the good in people. Always ignoring the bad. Unless in a death-like situation. Then he figures they will kill him. He'd also feel guilty for no reason if someone is sad.

Kaju'ha arrived at the Academy so suddenly he had no idea how he got here. One moment he was in a cave, the next, he was here. "I wonder if anyone knows how I got here?" The place looked like it'd have the answer in its library if it had a library. He moved forward, stumbling as he did. "Where's Trejik?" His eyes wandered about, not being able to see anyone around. Or that might just be his blurry vision. Kaju'ha gripped his sword's handle, which was still in its sheath. "One foot in front of the other." He had a goofy look about him as he tried to walk forward once again. 'Is there food here though?' Kaju'ha rushed forward, slamming into a wall head-on.

"Ouch!" Kaju'ha quickly rubbed his forehead, trying to get rid of the pain he brought upon himself. "Ow ow. Ouch. Why does it have to be painful?" He sat down where he ran into the wall, grabbing his little pack his let hang from his side. "One sandwich. One pouch of water. My lunch is set." Kaju'ha quickly bit into his sandwich... which didn't last more than ten seconds. And his water. His water lasted about twenty seconds. It was gone before he knew it, but he was also filled.

After the headmaster saw them off, he decided it was time to deal with the next situation at hand. That was the young man that had just ran into the physical wall of the Academy, after a spatial distortion was registered and he appeared from nowhere.

"Oh dear, I do hope it is not another Interdimensional horror. I would like to get through some 'normal' schooldays before anything like that happens".

He decided to be a bit more direct, even if it did not mean using the fun door he had created, and had a Teleportation Spell Array appear under the newcomer's feet all the way from his office. Unless the young man for whatever reason decided to avoid it, although given how large the area of effect was and that it would try to follow him that would be difficult, he would be teleported right in front of the headmaster.

"Hello there. I am Headmaster, Principle, Head Doctor, and Director of Astrius Academy, Simon Azler. Who are you may I ask, and why did you run into one of our walls strong enough to hold back large scale demon beasts and enchanted with extra resistance and sturdiness?"

The sudden teleportation made Kaju'ha yell, making him try to grab something so he doesn't go through what he was going through. He calmed down rather quickly though, as he came face to face with the Headmaster/Principle/Head Doctor/Director guy. "Oh hey. I was wondering if I could find a book on interdimensional travel." Kaju'ha looked around the room as he sat up, wiping his mouth of food crumbs. "It looks bigger here." Even though he may or may not be outside. He couldn't tell.

Kaju'ha's attention snapped onto the Headmaster/Principle/Head Doctor/Director guy, smiling goofily. "I'm Kaju'ha." He was trying to figure out how he'd tell the man that he had blurry vision and rushed forward and met the wall head-on unintentionally. "Well, I had blurry vision. And I love to run. So the wall was an unsuspecting victim of my blurry vision." Kaju'ha smiled widely as he itched his forehead. "It still itches a bit." He was starting to wish he didn't eat his sandwich so fast now. "Do you know where I might find some food?" He rubbed his belly slightly after hearing it grumble. As if he couldn't seem stupid enough, he decided to see what the Headmaster/Principle/Head Doctor/Director guy smelled like, taking a deep breath in.

The headmaster was a very intelligence, very patient person. However, what just happened in front of him was so completely nonsensical, he legitimately outright teleported Kaju right to the library since he had no idea how else to respond to him.

And then, he looked at the next few. One was still panicking, so he decided to just leave him there for now and let him calm down a little, while the other was one of the new exchange students. Since the teleportation method had not gone so well, he decided to produce a glowing trail that would lead Akela right to the front door of the Headmaster's office, which was still turned into a slime that would suck people in when they tried to enter, and would suck people out when they tried to leave. What was the point in turning his front door into a slime? He was just testing a spell, thought the end result was interesting, so he left it as is.

He was still reasonable, but a bit eccentric.

Akela started to follow the path hoping to the Goddess that this was not some kinda of prank the alien girl trick. She soon realized though that it was leading her to the headmaster's office.
Akela looked confused as she came to what should have been the door of the headmaster's office. Cautiously she reached out her hand to touch the slime door. Akela screamed as she was sucked into the room falling face first into the office. She picked herself up her face red with embarrassment.
"I guess you wanted to see me.."

As Kaju'ha was teleported into the library, he sped around, reading every book he could see. You see, Kaju'ha and his brothers are able to quickly read books at an inhuman speed. But it was not his power. It was how he naturally lived. Each book in the library was interesting. His mind was a growing mind. Taking in anything and everything it saw, felt, understood. Kaju'ha was a quick learner. Books were the one thing that interested him. But he also wanted to see if there was a book that would tell him how to get back to his world.

His search held no fruit. But he learned a lot of information about this world... probably. He'd probably gone through half the library in twenty minutes. Kaju'ha was used to grand libraries that had 39,528,818 books and volumes. He was so engrossed in these books, he forgot to take his time so that he wouldn't have anything to read. But he couldn't help himself. Books were his life. His information.

Kaju'ha awoke on some books wide open and some closed. "Huh? O-oh." He placed his hand on his cheek, letting reality set in. "Books. Lots of books. Nothing useful." Kaju'ha yawned, stretching as he did so. The place seemed empty. "Any books about beings from another reality?" He stood back up, stumbling around, looking for a specific book. Well, nothing very specific. Just a book that contained information about beings from another reality.

Hayden walked into the library and quickly began to scan the shelves looking for anything he could use to help him in his project. He was trying to create a matter density field generator to help keep the school safe for and from students and teachers of larger species. It would encompass the school in a field that would adjust the density of everything so that larger creatures wouldn't damage the foundations or the walkways on the campus.

"Let's see here, quantum entanglement? No that isn't what I need. Ah, here we go, applied quantum field theory. That should help" He reached for the book and bumped into another person in the library. "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't see you there. I must have been caught up my work again." He smiled at the guy. He looked a little younger than Hayden, but the scars on his face suggested that he had been in many battles. Hayden noticed the book in his hand about inter-dimensional travel and the look of confusion on the guy's face. That in addition to the scars and Hayden was quickly able to put the young man's situation together in a matter of seconds after observing this.

"Let me guess; you showed up here out of nowhere, got teleported to the headmaster's office where he gave you some crazy story about you being here for a reason or something like that, then you came here to try and find a way to get back to your home? Well I hate to say it but the headmaster is usually right on those sort of things. You could try to travel back home at great risk, or you could see if there's anything here worth staying for. But that's just my opinion." He smiled as he took his book and flipped through it in front of his eyes and he scanned the information directly to his brain. He put the book back and smiled once again at the guy before turning to leave "The food is pretty good here, that's reason enough to stay for some people. I'm going to go get lunch now if you want to join me."

Kaju'ha stumbled back before catching himself. The place looked so empty he didn't expect to run into anyone. He was, however, distracted by the man's blue hair. Kaju'ha wasn't given any time to respond before Hayden went on with his guess. It wasn't entirely accurate, nor inaccurate. "U-um. Actually, I guess I never got the crazy story about me being here for a reason. I was simply teleported here because I said I was looking for the library." Kaju'ha chuckled awkwardly as he looked down at his shirt. It appeared he drooled whilst he slept. Completely unintentional on his part. He only drools when he's hungry or extremely tired. Perhaps he was both when this happened.

Kaju'ha personally hadn't ever heard of "lunch" before. It sounded tasty. And Hayden telling him there was food was what sold him. Kaju'ha nodded his head rapidly, going into his natural slouching state as he did so. When slouching, his height was about 5'8-ish. He never liked standing upright for too long, as the burns along his lower back made sure to that. "I-I'd like to join you." Words simply flew outward from his lips. "I mean. I was looking at the books to see if I could summon a being who was known for reality... dimensional... jumpy thingy. I see that you are interested in "applied quantum field theories". Me personally, I like that too but also learning how to harness magical powers... stuff. I can't manifest any type of power, you see."

Kaju'ha's eyes widened at a thought. "C-can you train me?" He bowed politely. When asking someone a great favor, it was a custom to bow in a formal way. Kaju'ha soon realized he too talked too fast for the man to even respond to his first statement. He had a lot to learn. Hopefully, Kaju'ha wasn't a useless case.

Hayden could tell that the young man was being polite in his actions. He had learned a lot of different gestures were used to convey gratitude while he was living in Questrios. There were a lot of tourists. He bowed in return. "Reality dimensional jumpy thingy, huh? Is that the technical term for trans-dimensional rift? I'm still working on that technology. The power supply is the hard part."

He thought his reaction to hearing about food was kind of funny as well as the fact that Hayden was clearly a little older, but this guy had to slouch to be at eye level. And speaking of eyes, his were two different colors and it took a lot for Hayden not to stare. "I can try to train you. I have expert knowledge of most forms of magic, but I'm only able to use one type magic myself. Oh yeah my name's Hayden." He grinned. "But first things first, let's get some food." He took the young man's hand and dragged him along to the cafeteria. "They have an all you can eat type of thing and more varieties of food than you can imagine. If you like food this is the place, I mean it's not gourmet, but it's good and there's a lot of it."

Kaju'ha was surprised when Hayden grabbed his hand to drag him to the...a... Cafeteria. "I-I'm Kaju'ha. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance."

They have an all you can eat type of thing and more varieties of food than you can imagine. If you like food this is the place, I mean it's not gourmet, but it's good and there's a lot of it.

Kaju'ha's ears perked up and his eyes widened. "What's your favorite food?" He wondered what people liked. He only ate sandwiches. So he'd have to have Hayden as his "guide". "And you're right. I think that is the technical term for a trans-dimensional rift." He kept his eyes low, trying to not seem creepy by staring at Hayden. It was hard for Kaju'ha not to stare when he was being dragged by his hand.

"What type of magic do you use?" Kaju'ha was surprised that Hayden had knowledge on magic but only used one type of magic. "Couldn't you use more than one type of magic if trained to do so? The body adapts to making a new energy reserve for magic doesn't it?" It might've not been the case, however. That's how it was in Kaju'ha's universe. But for the body to make a new energy reserve, it'd have to cut the current one in half. Everyone was different though.

Hayden finally let go of Kaju'ha's hand when they got to the cafeteria. "I don't really have a favorite food, I like so many of them." He took a big whiff of the air. "But the pizza smells really good today. Follow me and if you have any questions about the food I'll explain it to you... if I know." He chuckled.

Hayden began to explain his powers as he moved along the line looking at the afternoon's selections. "Well I have a rare type of magic that gives me the ability to control machines and technology. They call me a techno-mancer. I think the type of magic I use is so rare that it prevent's me from using other types. Either that or my body can only create the one type of energy from my manna reserves. But most people with magic abilities can train to use multiple types." Hayden spoke as he piled his plate with several types of pizza and some boneless BBQ chicken wings. He did his best not to go too fast through the line so that Kaju'ha could keep up.

Kaju'ha, unaware of what was good and bad, picked what Hayden picked. "I guess that your magic is pretty strong?" He did his best to keep up with Hayden as he continued to pick up when Hayden did. Kaju'ha didn't mean to seem weird if that's what it looked out. He just didn't know what any of the foods were. "As a techno-mancer, what can you do?" Kaju'ha never heard of a techno-mancer before. It sounded cool and epic to him. "Also, what are these?" He rushed up to Hayden's side, pointing at what he picked up. The only food Kaju'ha was familiar with was food transferred through tubes. He never actually ate anything except a sandwich that his brother made him before he popped up here.

When he thought about it, Kaju'ha wondered where his sword was. Maybe he'd go looking for it later on. Or tomorrow. He listened to Hayden as he talked a bit more. If he did. His mind was filled with all types of information, but most of it was unavailable for him to access. His mind only allowed him to remember so much. So when a specific expertise was needed. It took back the current knowledge and replaced it. Or if Kaju'ha wanted to know it all at once, he'd enter a trance which allowed him to rummage through the data in his head.

Hayden smiled as he looked at the curious look in his eyes as he brought up a small bowl with a bunch of grapes in it. "Oh those are grapes. They're a type of fruit, they're kinda sweet and a little tangy. As for what I can do, I think it's easier to show you." He held his tray in one hand and then held out the other. A grey cloud flew out of his hand, it was his nanobots. He had them merge to form a sword in his hands. "You see I got a bunch of microscopic robots in me and I can make them do whatever I want, I'm basically a cyborg now with how these little guys have upgraded me. But I can make any machine do whatever I want." He chuckled.

He made the nanobots go back inside him and he walked to the nearest empty table. He sat down and began to eat the pizza, he was thrilled to be making a friend outside of the science lab for once. "So, do you mind if I call ya Kaj for short? Kaju'ha is a bit of a mouthful."

"T-that's so cool." Kaju'ha was in awe when Hayden made the sword. "You mean like... super tiny robots?" He quickly grabbed a grape, examining it. "I don't mind you calling me Kaj. It's understandable that my name is a bit of a mouthful." Kaju'ha smiled slightly as he sat down next to Hayden, or across. "Would you happen to know how to manifest magic? I did it once but it was considered a fluke. Only a lucky exert. But it was so small and weak that I couldn't do anything with it."

Kaju'ha hadn't tried to manifest magical properties for a long time. Besides, he wasn't sure if they were considered friends. If they were, this would be Kaju'ha's first friend.

Throwing the grape into his mouth, he chewed it slowly with his mouth closing as he did so. Once he swallowed it, he talked. "It's like... The skin is dry, but when you chew it. It's soft underneath." Kaju'ha attempted to pick up his pizza, trying to figure out how to hold it.

Hayden smiled "Yeah, that's it exactly; super tiny robots." He listened to Kaj explain how he had manifested his magic before. "Hmm, I know that the manifestation of magic seems to be different for nearly every species that uses it. I think the best idea would be to recreate the conditions you were in when you manifested it the first time. From there we could analyze the type of magic you use and find ways to focus your natural abilities." Hayden explained, his scientific side getting excited.

He noticed Kaj trying to figure out the pizza. "Like this." Hayden said as he held up the pizza. "You might want to blow on it a little bit first, the cheese can be really hot sometimes and there's nothing worse than burning the roof of your mouth." He then took a bite. "Some people don't like the crust at the back of the slice, but I like to dip them in ranch like a bread stick." He chuckled, not thinking that he probably didn't know what any of the stuff was that he just talked about.

"So what are things like where you're from?"

Kaju'ha followed Hayden's example... thingy. "Conditions? All I know is that I tried to exert my magic when I found myself under rubble. I was only under rubble because Ark wanted to make my brother angry. They blamed it on the competitor which he used to fight against. But I guess my magical properties were dampened even more when I was put into cryo to stop my injuries from getting worse." But Kaj kept away from how he got his scars. Nor would he mention the burns on his lower back area. "My sword took in the small exertion but I have to find it. Hopefully, I do find it."

Kaj took a huge bite out of his pizza. "The place where I'm from revolved around a war. Two factions competing for the favor of a General. Weird, but the General was considered the leader of the world. No one dared to go against him, except Trejik's core. To do so, they snuck into Ark and stole some highly classified detail on my brother. Then proceeded to kill his wife. The entire intent was to make it so Jonathan attacked Trejik's core, bringing it to its knees. Then Trejik's core could ask for a permanent execution of Ark." Kaj continued rumbling on he didn't notice he was halfway through his food. He'd only been there for about... two minutes? He wasn't sure. "Also. What's ranch and a breadstick?" Kaj asked randomly as he stared at Hayden with his innocent demeanor.

Hayden listened quietly as Kaj told his story about his home world being ravaged by war. The look on Hayden's face was serious and somber as he saw the emotions wash over Kaj's face. "I get that everyone has a soft spot for home, but, if your home world is being ravaged by war, do you really want to go back there?" Hayden asked, trying not to sound too rude. He found himself staring at Kaj as he ate, the way someone stares at a difficult math problem hoping to suddenly understand it.

"So you say that your magical exertion was absorbed by your sword. So that's definitely a form of power transference, the sword may possibly be a channeling devise. You arrived here from another dimension. Damn this would be so much easier to figure out if we were in the lab. I could build a machine to identify your dimensional signature, then use that to find your sword. I could also build something to identify your magic type, or rather the type of magic you're attuned to and most likely to be able to use." Hayden said scratching at his chin, still staring at Kaj.

When Kaj asked about the bread sticks and ranch, Hayden smirked and tried to hold back his laughter. "I saw how fast you were reading in the library. Next time we go in there, we're going to go through the culinary section." Hayden chuckled. "When we're done here we can go to one of the labs and I'll throw together those machines real quick to help us out here then we can get you training on some basic magic."

Kaj smiled. "What's culinary?" He asked quietly but awkwardly. Kaj knew nothing of culinary. "I do not intend to head back to my world. I only aim to find my brothers. If possible. I'd like to settle down here, hoping it isn't as bad." Kaj looked back down at his food. "What's a dimensional signature? Is it like when the body is born from a different universe, then when moved to a different universe, it stays the same but it's different than the world they're in, per say?" This was simply Kaj's speculation. Simple guesswork, as his mind wasn't fitting itself for this type of knowledge.

"My sword might be with my brother, but I have no idea where he is." Kaj had a weird sword. If he couldn't find it, it'd be near or next to him once he slept and awoke. So maybe the library would be a good place to look around since he slept there for who knows how long. "Or it might be in the library now that I think of it." Kaj grabbed some more food to eat. He cleared his plate thing in about two more minutes. His stomach was like a trash compactor. Since he hadn't eaten any solid food until today, he could take a lot.

"So how does one train? What is training on basic magic like?" He repositioned himself to have his body face Hayden so he didn't need to turn his head. Kaj would like to stay away from the 'labs', and he spoke his mind. "I'd like to stay away from these... labs. I don't have fond memories regarding them." Including he was made in one.

"Culinary is all about food." Hayden chuckled. "Origin, this world, is a really nice place. I'm glad you plan on staying. You're kinda right about a dimensional signature, every dimension or alternate universe has a unique type of resonance frequency that can be tracked." He said.

"It might be difficult to track the sword without using the lab, but I'm sure we will figure something out. As for the magic training it's basically helping you to learn how to harness your natural powers and learn the basics of controlling them. It can be fun, but also frustrating in the beginning." Hayden could see the glimmer of fear in Kaj's eyes as he spoke about the labs, so he decided not to push it too much. "I might actually have the stuff I need to make those things in my dorm room. I could make the stuff I needed there if you'd prefer. I promise they won't hurt." Hayden still thought they would have better luck with his machines rather than just looking the old fashioned way.
