Introduction
♒ The stories started by a single child's dream, he told the whole town that he would find the world of eternal youth and wealth by following the sun. People laughed at first but then some started actually venturing behind the sun trying to reach exactly where the sun would set. But the voyage soon became illegal because of all the people going, outlaws started appearing and order became chaos. Now only the bravest go out to find the land of glory and they are named Pirates. . . most never return.
♒ Welcome to Liompas. It's a planet just like Earth but it's just a few billion light years away from Earth. Liompas is neighbored by another planet Thymuss that is very close and two times larger than Liompas, but Thymuss has no water, it has only land, so many trades are made between both planets through the Galactic Port where you find all kinds of space ships specially made advanced technology not yet discovered by people on Earth. That aside, we're focusing on Liompas anyway.
Thymuss is a planet of rock and land while Liompas is a planet of water with only one ocean name after the planet itself, the Liompas Ocean, and it has two continents on both poles of the planet (just like Earth's Antarctica and Arctic). The ocean is not salt water like Earth oceans, it is drinkable but also inhabits different creatures that are called myths on Earth.
Some of the many creatures you can find on Liompas are:
- Cetus
- Champ
- Drac
- Kappa
- Kraken
- Mermaids
♒ So this is who you are, you are either a Pirate starting a crew (you don't have to have everyone in your crew be a real character in the poleplay, you can make some people up on your ship but not too many) and you are in search of this land of glory but you face the other Pirates and the Guards. How determined are you to reach the sunset.
Or, you are Guard and you follow orders from your superiors, you sail with the other Guards (there are more than only the created characters in the RP) to stop the pirates. But maybe there are other things you want to do with your life. . .
Remember this is a different world so there are different things here, like differently powered weapons for the pirates, but the Guards are appointed with special equipment.
♒ Guards:
Dress code - For standard Gurads and for the Commanders they place a cape over the standard uniform.
Weapon Choices - For the standard: a sword and a gun For the Commanders: same choice but the gun is optional.
There are only TWO Commanders!
♒ Pirates:
Pirates dress as they like and are armed with weapons that they please, their ship is armed as they please as well, as long as it sail on the water.
There are only THREE crews! No more, No less!
♒ Rules:
- If you haven't read the whole thing I'd like to tell you don't bother coming in, but I'm going to not say that and just tell you read the small infros given here.
- First of all, only two Commanders, first calls, first gets.
- Second, only three pirate crews, same! First calls, first gets
- Third, we are focusing on Liompas right now and this is an adventure where people can die (you can always remake a character)
- Fourth, Liompas is different from Earth, there are two continents on both poles and a few islands in the midst of the non-salt water ocean.
- Fifth, I WORK MY ASS OFF TO MAKE A SKELETON TO MAKE CHARACTER SHEETS PRETTY, SO IF YOU DON'T MIND FOLLOWING IT!!!!!!
- Sixth, as you can see, I don't give a damn about cuss words.
- Seventh, romance is encouraged but sex is to be taken in PM.
- Eighth, don't write one sentence when you post and don't write a book! One paragraph is perfect!
- Ninth, ask to make a crew before making one and ask to become commander on the OOC or by PM!!!!
- Tenth,. . . um. . . Have fun! This is a pretty free thing, so if you have any side story ideas than go for it, just warn me through PM so I can know a little ;)

Isabel Copperhead
She had left her home town a few weeks ago and was now venturing in the neighboring town, there were only two things she was looking for: a crew and. . . Okay she was only looking for one thing, a crew. There was no way she could sail on the ocean on her own, her father's ship was very big and needed way too much caring for than she could give on her own.
So, somehow, Isabel was able to dock at the town with her big ship, granted, she half crashed into another ship but somehow her luck was so powerful that nothing bad happened. She jumped off her ship and walked in the streets of the town, there weren't many people but it was a cozy little place and Izzy knew exactly where she had to go to find her crew members.
"Excuse me, where's the closest bar?" she asked a big grunt man in the street.
"Down there little missy, but you really shouldn't go in there, only pirates go in there," the man was kind enough to point her in the right direction.
"I know, but thanks for warning me," Isabel waved goodbye to the man and then went to the bar.
She was standing in front of the bar where she could hear the music playing and the yelling of savage ocean men and women. Izzy was very different from other pirates, first of all, she was only fifteen and second she wasn't really chasing after treasures, she was chasing after a fairy tale the she had invented just to protect her father. It was stupid really but I guess that when it comes to family and protecting people she loved, Izzy would do anything.

Trinity swung once more over the heads of the other pirates, stealing on of the sailors caps in the process, and landed gracefully on a beam above. Trinity's German Shepard, Avalon, barked happily from below, though it was probably more at the shine coming off of the golden feathers she had decided to put in her hair that day. Trinity giggled and bowed from on top of the beam at the seemingly angry sailor. If he got too angry, she would just use her 'powers of persuasion' to manipulate the man's emotions. It seemed horrible to most for a girl to do that to a man, but it was simply means of making money for Trinity.
She looked down and to the left at the door where another gir,l who looked a bit younger than Trinity, stood. Feeling a bit friendly today, Trinity ran quickly and silently along the beams of the bar and then jumped down about five feet away from the girl. She wasted no time in looked the girl from head to toe. "If ya don't mind me sayin', ya don't look like a woman of the sea t' me, doll." Trinity looked the girl in the eyes and tilted her head slightly to the side with a smile. "What's a girl like ya doin' in a place like this anyway?"
Taylor had just docked after one of his usual fishing expeditions. Today was a fine day at sea; clear sky, calm water, smooth winds... ideal weather for sailing. The only odd thing about today was the catch. His catch usually consisted of a somewhat heavy load of fish, but today, there were only a few fish out and about. As Taylor was tying his boat to the dock, he noticed that a new ship had arrived. He sighed, "More pirates... come to whisk more men away." Taylor sounded rather dreary and winded while stacking his claim. "Maybe I can save the life of some inexperienced youth." He looked to the sky for moment to see many a flock of seagulls hovering overhead. "Lovely birds." Taylor opened a small smile and decided that he could welcome the new pirates to the town. He began the brief trek over to the bar, recalling a similar instance where a young boy, no older than 18 was eager to become a pirate. He left with some savage treasure hunting tribe, something along the lines of the 'Gold Toothed Pirates.' "Hmph, children these days..."
As Taylor was finishing the short trek over to the bar, he caught a shift in the westerly winds. "I hope no pirates plan on setting sail today... they wont get anywhere for awhile." Taylor shrugged and entered the bar. He bore witness to the usual rowdy bunch of pirates, including the illustrious Trinity Faith Morain and one sole newcomer. Taylor looked down, realizing the great height difference as he began to hunch over. 'A girl... a captain... interesting.' He wasn't really surprised, more amused by the fact that this new girl might be the captain of the large, poorly docked vessel. He continued past the woman without as much as a hello, strictly focusing on reaching the bar for a cool drink to relax his mild frustration with his 'lack of' a good catch.
Isabel wasn't a very patient girl, and she was small so she had a habit of doing things so that everyone could notice her and hear her. But sometimes even she had to admit that she spoke too loudly and too straight forward.
"My name is Isabel Copperhead and I am starting a crew! Who wants to join me and chase after the sunset!" she spoke very loudly which stopped the whole bar in action.
She didn't have much act for delicate moments so to make up for it she made a wide smile that forced her to close her eyes and expose her surprisingly clean teeth for a pirate. Something about Izzy: it takes her a while to realize what is standing right in front of her. She finally noticed Trinity standing there and the man that walked by her.
"Hello! Oh and, a lot of people don't believe I'm made for the sea but the sea is my dream and solution!" Izzy made another innocent smile.

Lane stuffed her hands in her pockets as she walked the streets of this new town. She had never been here before, but found herself in need of a crew and thought this would be the best place to start. Not far from her docked ship, Lane stopped at a bar full of rowdy men and women. As she headed for the entrance she passed by two girls, one about fifteen or sixteen and the other looking around Lane's age, and heard a snip of the conversation. "Oh, and if ya talk like that, ya ain't gonna get much of a crew." Lane only vaguely wondered what the conversation was about before walking in to push herself to the bar. Sitting down, Lane turned around on the stool to scope out the people and immediately decided that this would be much harder than she originally thought.
"Mr. Hothead? Heh, I'm thinking you got the wrong guy, ma'am." Taylor knew all to well that Trinity was the frisky type; she'd parade around teasing men and egging them into losing their heads and money. She was the typical treasure hording pirate, at least that's how she acted. He could recall numerous voyages with the vixen pirate, knowing full well her sexual tactics. Either way, he shrugged her off, eyeing her as she dragged the young newcomer out of the bar. 'Searching for a crew, heh, good luck lil' missy.' He knew full well that he could help her greatly, but he wouldn't offer his services so easily, she would have to ask him first. It seemed today would prove an interesting day with another newcomer entering the bar. "My, my." Taylor was simply muttering to himself now, figuring the patrons were loud enough to cover his talk. He watched as the second newcomer sat at the bar and swiveled around, examining the patrons. "You wont find a crew here, sorry." He didn't particularly enjoy killing anyone's dreams or plans, but he was simply being honest. Most of the patrons here are long retired or are simply here resting from long voyages. There were obviously the few like himself that were open for hire, but they wouldn't just openly brand themselves as up for hire. "You're going to have to prove yourself to these men, they're some of the toughest pirates in terms of judgement. I can say that being a woman doesn't help much..." Again, Taylor didn't enjoy killing anyone's plans but he was simply being honest in this situation.
"Well thank you for the heads up!" Isabel just walked right back into the bar without thinking two and greeted everyone for the second time.
Bottles were flying and swords were unsheathed but Isabel was small and just slipped passed everyone to sit at the bar counter. Not many understood that she had slipped past without the slightest injury but she also wasn't very . . . witty, she had no clue that those pirates that just sprang forward wanted her head but she still acted casually. She asked for a juice or something but instead the bartender gave her a Vodka tonic. Bad idea, a single drop of alcohol in Izzy's system was dangerous.
"Thanks!" she grabbed the glass then turned to look at the men still fighting, "I really don't understand why declaring that I'm starting a crew is such a bad idea." Izzy noticed the man from before Trinity had pulled her out, "Oh hey! Mr. Hothead, you look unemployed and have the face of a man in need of some spike in his life, I can also tell you love the sea! Join my crew!"
She lifted her glass up and then chugged the whole glass of Vodka . . . Oops.
Taylor bore witness to the small rumble that was overtaking the bar. 'Buffoons...' He then rested his head in his arms, which sat crossed on the counter top. He didn't pay much attention to the returning newcomer. He was in some sort of stooper, still feeling anguish with the whole, 'bad catch' for the day. He watched the girl, who shared the appearance of a fourteen year old, as she hopped onto a nearby stool while ordering some juice. As the young girl began talking, rather loudly, Taylor opened his ears. He listened to her meaningless comment and cringed when she finally noticed him, addressing him as 'Mr. Hothead', just as Trinity labeled him previously. "Just so you know, these men are retired pirates... or pirates on dry dock. They're all affiliated to another pirate crew, well at least most of us are..." Taylor lifted his head, turning it to the girl, with his eyes remaining closed and showing an expression of slight irritation. "Hello... Just so you know, my name isn't 'Hothead'... it's Taylor Briggs..." Taylor cringed again at the sound of that infamous name, Briggs. "I'm not sure why you're searchin' for a crew at such an age, but give me some proof of you being a strong captain and I'll consider joining' ya' crew." The words just rolled off of Taylor's tongue, but he was in fact searching for a crew to join. He just saw that this was going to be a waste of time.

Trinity Faith Morain
Trinity shook her head at the girl's retreating figure and began to walk away, deciding that the girl wasn't worth the trouble. She had reached the docks and noticed a new, bigger ship docked. Trinity chuckled to herself as she realized that the ship probably belonged to the young captain. Trinity was about to start walking again when she looked over at her own captain's ship. The entire crew would be at the tavern or the pub, so the ship was eerily empty. Trinity cocked her head as she noticed a suspicious looking man walking toward the ship. She slipped through the crowd to keep an eye on the man, but stayed hidden in case the man was dangerous. Trinity peered around the ship just in time for the man to stuff on last handful of straw into a hole in the ship, and light the straw on fire. Trinity jumped as the fire quickly caught the straw and spread.
The flames had soon engulfed a good portion of the wooden ship and was quickly making the small hole the straw was stuffed in considerably larger. Luckily for the other captains, the ship was docked farther away from them due to the paranoia of Trinity's captain, so the fire was not able to spread to the ship adjacent to it. The townspeople seemed shockingly quite as the fire spread and the hole began to reach the water. Too scared to do anything else, Trinity turned in horror and shock and quietly made her way back to the bar with Avalon staying silently by her side. Looking back to the sea, Trinity saw that someone must have un-anchored the ship and set it floating out to sea.
The fire was retreating and the boat had begun to sink as Trinity reached the bar. She pushed open the door and slipped in silently, still in shock at what had happened. She made her way over to where she had last seen her captain and found him sitting with his feet propped on the table, drinking what had to be his fifth pint of rum. He looked over at her and hollered, "Ay, Trinny, doll, c'mon over and have a drink." Trinity walked over to him without a word. "Captain Sterlin', I gotta tell ya somethin'." The captain stood, wobbling a little, but with a more serious look on his face. "What?" he asked sternly. Trinity looked him in the eye and told him of the strange man and the demise his ship had met. She had just about finished telling him the story when suddenly Sterling raised her hand and brought it down to slap her with it. "You bitch," he breathed in a hushed tone. Trinity held her hot cheek and looked back up at him with a growl. "Your ship is gone and I had nothing to do with it." The man was clearly drunk and stumbled forward to her, his horrible breath reaching Trinity's nose and she backed off. "Though you did nothing to stop it from happening, did you?" Sterling answered her harshly, but with a sort of wicked, drunk smirk on his face. Trinity's hand fell from her face and she narrowed her eyes at him, placing a finger to his chest and pushing him away from her face. "Well then I guess God has spoken. You're out of a ship, and your out of a lookout."
Isabel Copperhead
"You have a very good point, Mr. Hot -" Izzy stopped herself and then smiled, "Taylor Briggs, it's a very nice name you've got. Alright, so you need to know if I'm worth it, if you can take orders from me and venture on the vast ocean with me, I'll prove it too you."
Izzy was not only drunk but also very glad that at least someone tried to take interest in her offer. She was wobbling as she walked around the bar and hiccuping as she saluted some 'retired' pirates. Then she saw the woman from before who had tried to warn her in vain, Izzy was a little drunk to actually recognize her but she (sort of) over heard what they were arguing about. A burnt down ship, lookout . . . anyway, Izzy had the perfect opportunity.
"Step aside, Trinity . . . that is your name isn't it?" Izzy goofily put herself between the two of them and approaching her head toward Trinity, "You're very pretty, and this bad man hit you, shame on him!" Isabel was so disoriented and out there in another lalaland, "What did they put in the juice!"
Izzy wasn't very attentive and wasn't making the best impression but she unsheathed her sword from her back and pointed it at the Sterling guy, "Alrighto! Taylor, I will prove to you that I am worthy of being a captain, if I win you join my crew!"

Trinity's cheek was still burning and she would probably need to ice it or something. As that Isabel girl walked up to her, she knew that the girl was a little too drunk for anyone's liking. The girl drew her sword and Sterling did as well. However, before anything could happen, Trinity stepped calmly in between the two, facing Sterling. "Are ya really gonna fight a young girl Sterlin'? You really are a coward," Trinity sneered at Sterling who placed his sword back near his hip and sneered back at her. Once more, his face got dangerously close to Trinity's and she could smell the heavy liquor he had been drinking. "You'll pay you stupid wench." As Sterling turned and drunkenly stumbled out of the bar with only two of his men following, Trinity turned to the rest of the crew. "The ship's gone boys and so is our captain. Sorry," Trinity said sarcastically. The crew began to laugh with glee, for everyone had always hated Sterling even when he was their co-captain. As the crew went back to drinking and laughing, Trinity turned back to the girl. She looked on angrily at her, but also with a bit of sympathy. "First, don't challenge that guy. He ain't worth it, darlin'. 'Nd second, ya really shouldn't be drinkin'." A slow smile crept on to Trinity's face and she put a hand on the girl's shoulder to keep her from wobbling. This girl was definitely going to need a lot of help. "Now how 'bout ya put that damn sword away hon."
Taylor continued to sit as the newcomer continually rambled, "Thanks, the name comes from my father..." He eyed the newcomer as she stood in place zoning in and out, "Fine, show meh your worth as a capt'in." He waved the young girl off, noticing Trinity returning and walking over to an oddly familiar man. 'Sterling!' He recognized the man almost immediately, it was his father's old friend, and an overall scalawag. Although, he had to thank Sterling for training him abit. Taylor didn't even notice that the newcomer girl was walking towards Trinity and Sterling. "Idiot..." Taylor quickly grasped his trusty flintlock pistol, ready to shoot Sterling in a moments notice. He eyed the gathering of Trinity, Sterling and the newcomer. 'Sterling, you better watch yourself...' Taylor was able and ready to shoot the man, but saw as Trinity had practically saved the young girl by shooing him off. "Tch, women..." Taylor laughed quietly and returned to his rum with the incessant chatter and partying of Sterling's old crew. "Hmph, Trinity ain't so bad as I thought." He smirked, finishing his glass and standing up. 'Might as well get something productive done today...'
"So, ladies." Taylor had approached both the wannabe Captain and Trinity. "Let's have a chat." He walked towards the door, motioning for them to follow.
She was barely following, so in other words this was what was happening in Izzy's head at the time; bad man, Sterling, being mean to Trinity who was now someone Izzy wanted to protect, Sterling was also a way to get Taylor's appreciation. Yes people, Izzy was a very simple working mind but it's also a very dangerous working mind because she only knows what happening and doesn't think about the consequences.
"You'll pay you stupid wench."
What Sterling said seemed to have reached Izzy's mind a bit too late because Trinity had already turned to Izzy telling her that it was best not to drink and to not fight that man, but Isabel was being stubborn. She gently pushed Trinity aside and took two steps toward Sterling who was quietly walking away. There was no more alcohol in Izzy's head and she was dead serious now.
"Hey rat face, half-assed, drunkard shit of a pirate," that got Sterling's attention on Isabel, "I think you owe an apology to Trinity and the whole crew because obviously no one really likes you meaning you haven't been real nice."
Sterling grunted and turned away as if Izzy was nothing at all and doing that boiled anger in Isabel who flung her sword that grazed Sterling's arm and hit the was on the other side. Now everyone had their attention turned.
"You owe an apology," Isabel threatened with her eyes but apparently it was too scary for Sterling to bear, he ran off like a woos baby.
Izzy went to retreave her sword and then returned to Taylor who was inviting her and Trinity through a door, "Sorry I couldn't prove myself better then that." Isabel smiled at Taylor and then followed him as if nothing had happened.

As he stepped outside, a cool breeze swept by casting on him the enchanting scent of adventure. He gazed out onto the vast ocean spread, recollecting the same horizon from his first voyage with his dad. He could recall all the details; the salty mist, the blistering sunlight raining on the ship, the complaints of the deckhands, even his father's old laugh. Taylor was brought back when Trinity and Isabel had tried to attract his attention. "Hm, oh yes... It's fine, and Trinity... Hey! Give that back!" Taylor found himself amidst two women; not just normal women, but the annoying types. He sighed, after snatching his pistol back from Trinity and returning it to his side. "Alright." He began walking towards the docks, gesturing that the women should walk beside him. "So, this is the situation... Trinity, you conniving vixen and Isabel, that's your name right,(?) and myself need something that someone else can provide, no?" He gave each women a glance to reassure himself that one, they were listening and two, they were actually following him. He was pretty sure the women wouldn't wonder off, but with that Trinity he wasn't so assured enough. Taylor figured they would get bored soon, so he decided to make this conversation brief. "Isabel you're looking for a crew. Trinity you're probably going to search for another captain to latch onto. And well, for myself, I'm looking for someone to hire me. So, I assuming you can see what we should do here?" He gave each woman another glance to ensure that they were still paying attention and still walking beside him. Luckily, neither had strayed off but he could never be to sure that they actually payed any attention to him.

Trinity snickered at Briggs as he snatched his pistol out of her hand. She listened to what he had to say, walking lazily next to him while Avalon tried to catch some rat of to the side of them. She was slightly angered that he seemed to be making fun of her, so she turned to face him and stood on her toes to get a better look at his face. She poked a finger at his chest and furrowed her brow. "First, I ain't conniving. I'm simply," Trinity paused, waving her hand, looking for the right word, "crafty." She stopped her hand motion and gave him another poke to the chest. "And second, I don't 'latch'. I work for my captain." Trinity rolled her eyes, trying to hide the smile that played on her face. She stepped back down to be her normal height and looked over at Isabel. Trinity's look was less of one of anger, and more of a tired yet cautious look. She sighed heavily. "Look, doll, I'll work for ya, but I ain't takin' orders like that damn Sterlin' made me take."
She just stood there trying to process everything that Taylor had just said and Trinity had added. If her brain was working right: Taylor was proposing to be a part of the crew and Trinity was also wishing to join in. The time it took for Izzy to get it all together Taylor and Trinity stared at her waiting to see if she was even still alive but then she jumped and bounced around like a hyper puppy and surprised them.
"This is going to be so fun! You have to come see the ship! My dad built it and now we're going to be all together on it sailing the seas!" she grabbed Avalon's paws and danced with him then started to run around, "We'll find more people and more crew members and we'll chase the sunset to find the land of youth!"
She drew her sword and first pointed it at Trinity and Taylor then giggled and twirled on her heels to have the tip of her blade shimmer by the light of the setting sun.

Trinity jumped as Isabel started jumping and spinning with Avalon. Avalon absolutely hated being touched by anyone he hadn't known for at least a month or so. Avalon, being the dog he was, barked loudly and was about to snap his teeth at the girl when Trinity began to pet his head with care. Trinity looked over as Isabel continued to run and twirl with her sword. Sure, Isabel was young, but she owned a beautiful boat and Trinity had been dying to get out of Sterling's command for years now. Trinity shook her head slightly as Avalon, still at her hip and still a bit angry at Isabel for touching him so unexpectedly, looked up at her questioningly. Trinity scratched his ears and sighed. "Yeah, boy, I guess she's the cap now," she whispered down at him. She then stopped her petting and turned to face Briggs who was next to her. She put a mischievousness smile on her face and chuckled. "Looks like we're crew mates now, eh Briggsy?"

He had just finished judging the ships when someone knocked into them. Being Titus' size and build, it felt like a small bump. But, for the other man, he may as well have a hit a brick wall. He fell to the ground like a sack of potatoes. "Hey, watch where your go.....Captain Sterling?" Titus said as he recognized the pirate. From the smell and the look on his face, Titus could tell he was drunk. Titus reached down and pulled the man up onto his feet and steadied him. He then pushed Titus off of him.....kind of. More like he pushed himself away from him. "I don't need yer help!" the man slurred. "Whatever, you called for me, Sterling? You said you needed to have your Mizzenmast realigned and the swing of your jib was hooking to the left. So Titus Tinman is here to solve your problems, for a modest fee." He said with a suave smile. "Now, Captain, wheres your ship?" Sterling simply glared at him. He then pointed his finger out to sea. "It's over there." Titus followed his finger. He hen spotted a burning carcass of a ship sinking into the sea. Titus scratched the back of his neck for a minute, he then turned back towards the Captain. "Alright, I'll see what I can do, but honestly it would be cheaper to just buy another one." The captain simply glared at him and stormed off. "OK then......" Titus said with a smile. "Well, no work means time for a drink." Titus said as he headed off towards the local tavern.
Titus had reached the tavern, when he saw two familiar faces and a little girl. He stopped and listened in on their conversation while rolling up a cigarette and lighting it. After all was said and done, he couldn't believe his ears. He then stepped out from where he was and approached the group. "Did I just hear right? Did Briggs the Broody just sign himself onto the crew of a sprat? A crew that's going to chase the setting sun to find the land of youth, no less? I knew you had low standards Briggs, but seriously? I mean, I expect it from Tricksy Trinity, but from you? I thought you made of smarter stuff. I guess with that compass in your head there wasn't any room left for a brain." Titus said mockingly to Briggs. He took a few more puffs on his cig. "I mean, she's a kid! She obviously can't pay you guys and with an innocent smile like that, you ain't gonna see a scrap a plunder." He then turned towards Trinity. "Seriously, there ain't gonna be no cash in it for you, sweetie. I can't imagine you without some pretty scrap a loot round your neck or dangling from your ears. And the ones you got now are look'in mighty dull, Trin." He then took a deep puff and blew it into the air. He then moved closer to Briggs. "Or are you planning something, eh Briggs? Maybe ye two are planning to mutiny this poor little sprat and taking off with her ship. That'd be mighty low, Briggs. You know what they say, like father like son." Titus said with a smile, blowing a plume of smoke into his face.

Lane grumble to herself and scratched the back of her neck in annoyance. She had lost the small group of three she was trailing. Rather, ditched trailing them. Then, hard as she tried, she still hadn't managed a single man (or woman) for her crew. She was considering simply heading off for the next town she came to. Maybe she could get a few crew members there. In her thoughts, Lane found herself down at the other end of the dock by her ship. The Cardinal Rose was not huge, but large enough to need a few extra men to work, nothing extravagant, but durable. She had already been through one tempest, and Lane was sure she could handle another. Lane sighed and headed back to the bar she first entered for a drink before she cast off for the next town alone. Again.
Taylor was't all to surprised at Isabel's elated response. She started hopping around and dancing, even spinning around with that pesky mut, Avalon. He got a quick laugh out of the little mut's sullied nature and Trinity's sharp response. Taylor let out a brief sigh, "Trinity, you, of all people know my name." His expression went from carefree to annoyed. "It's Taylor, not Briggsy." He was getting fed up with the whole Briggs name, but Trinity was his crew mate... again. He'd just have to deal with her for awhile, which wasn't going to be too difficult, he hoped. As Taylor watched his new crew fumble around, he thought that it wasn't such a bad idea to join this crew. After all, he was all but opposed to forming a crew, it'd be nice to add another story to his novel of life.
"I'll head back to the bar, we're going to need a bigger crew than us three." Taylor left the duo with a light smirk. He knew his reputation as Briggs' son would persuade numerous no-name pirates to join their ranks. 'Dad, it seems I'm about to break anew, sorry.' Taylor's attitude reached an all time high from his thought; now, he could finally begin his own adventure, his own legend, his own title. Taylor knew that now was the time to break from his father's lousy name and create a new Briggs, one that was far more honorable and vastly known as a legend. Today was the day he'd create the new Briggs, Briggs the Brazen!
He entered the bar quietly, his sheer size was enough of a presence for most people. He easily towered over a majority of men and that was a great intimidation factor, but it also worked against him many-a-times. He sat at the bar next to a few men who were fumbling around, more of Sterling's men. A messy man with a cigar approached Taylor. -"Did I just hear right? Did Briggs the Broody just sign himself onto the crew of a sprat? A crew that's going to chase the setting sun to find the land of youth, no less? I knew you had low standards Briggs, but seriously? I mean, I expect it from Tricksy Trinity, but from you? I thought you made of smarter stuff. I guess with that compass in your head there wasn't any room left for a brain." In between comments the foolish loudmouth took a few hits from his cigar. "I mean, she's a kid! She obviously can't pay you guys and with an innocent smile like that, you ain't gonna see a scrap a plunder." The loudmouth took another hit and inched closer to Taylor, "Or are you planning something, eh Briggs? Maybe ye two are planning to mutiny this poor little sprat and taking off with her ship. That'd be mighty low, Briggs. You know what they say, like father like son."- Taylor knew that this nobody was simply there to anger him, which he didn't take kindly. He was rather annoyed that this kid, no doubt a cocky nobody, would stake claim on Taylor's reputation or even consider comparing him to his father. Taylor's spirit was lit aflame. He stood up, towering over the boy. "I'm sorry, but I have no idea who you are. And as far as I be concerned, you have no right to speak my name." Taylor was growing this urge, the same one he undertakes when his father approaches. "Before ya even consida yourself a pirate worthy of speaking my name, make sure you're bestowed a title." Taylor opened his eyes quiet angrily and swiftly drew his pistol, placing it just below the boys chin. "I suggest you shut your trap and leave my crew alone. If you dare speak another word, I'll erase your piece o'shit existence now. So leave my presence you lousy good-for-nothing filth rat." Taylor was awfully serious about killing this kid, he had it with everyone calling him Briggs. He wasn't Briggs in any way other than name, and that's how it would be.

Re: Chasing the Sunset
But, concerning character sheets, I'm not sure how to fill it out. I mean, I see the character fill out sheet when I go to the "Characters" tab of the RP page, but I you want us to upload a picture INSIDE the Description box? I mean, do I just copy+paste the url in there or...? Also, do all the requirements for the chracter sheet go in the description box, or do I start filling out the Personality box when I get to personality?
I'm sorry to bother you about this, but I just want to make sure I do this right and don't upset you! I hope that you all will accept me into this RP!

When you said ask before creating a crew, does that mean ask before submitting a potential captain character...?
If so, I apologize ahead of time! :<
I just sent in a profile for a captain, haha. ;;
Sorry 'bout that; I could redo it / resubmit if necessary.
