Re: Rock? Or Rap?

Only a fool compares the sky to the ground, hoping to find a better understanding of it... You can't compare Rock to Rap, nor should you try. An attempt to compare two opposite and separate entities to determine which is superior based on their own, and again, opposing merits, is the mark of a narro...

Re: Dead Frontier

The SS crawled along an old, derelict street carved out of a forgotten city in the festering corpse of America. It barely crawled it's way through the heavy snow which had fallen the night before. It pulled to a stop and the driver's side opened slowly. Owen stepped out of the vehicle, pistol in han...

Re: Dead Frontier

A heavy snow had fallen within the last hour. Owen had been cruising down the highway at a slow pace, the Camaro leaving deep tracks as it rolled down the stretch of pavement. Owen was tired and the snow was getting heavy. He decided he would pull over somewhere close and sleep the night off with La...

Re: Dead Frontier

This story is Dedicated to my brother Kyle... Owen cautiously made his way through a very small city just off of the highway. His supply of gasoline was running out, forcing him to search for more. Most of the vehicles that sat around the streets had long since been syphoned of any fuel left in the ...

Dead Frontier

A black SS Camaro cruised down a stretch of deserted highway, weaving around the odd abandoned automobile. Sometimes it would have to grab some shoulder to get around a large cluster of vehicles that blocked every lane, but it was no problem for the vintage muscle car with it's large wheels and migh...

Re: Werewolf Preferences

Well, the actual (commonly used) term is lycanthrope, or lykosanthrōpos, if you really wanna get to down to specifics and origin. I like Lycan. It's rolls easily off the tongue, and derives from the proper term (again, as they aren't real there is no right or wrong word to use.) But creativity is so...

Re: A Legacy Written In Blood: Rising

Owen and Allison Watson sat together in a nice restaurant in downtown New Haven. It was their favorite spot in town. Owen brought her here on their first date four years ago, and they have been coming here since. Allison was twenty-five. She had long brown hair, fair skin and brown eyes to match her...

Re: Rock? Or Rap?

Both based on their individual merits??

But I suppose in a hypothetical future where we are forced to chose between one or the other, and have a lot of spare time to ponder completely irrelevant, frivolous stuff, I would go with Rock, as I enjoy more rock music on average than I do rap.

Re: A Legacy Written In Blood: Rising

This story is dedicated to Sunal Wolfsbane, my dear old friend. The night was hot and humid. The streets of New Haven were quiet and eerie. The orange light from lampposts was polished into a fine, dense glow by the heavy moisture in the air. It was one of those nights when the empty streets felt bo...

A Legacy Written In Blood: Rising

I prefer to go out at night, when the sun has rested after a long day of polishing the earth. The light is inherently forgiving in nature. It has a way of shining a false beauty over even the ugliest of situations. It gives cosmetic value to an otherwise worthless piece of merchandise. The light is...
