Re: Looking for an experienced player to take initiative.

I'm sure you may have seen me around. I too, don't have the time to read things tonight. I have to finish a term paper of 16th century Africa as depicted through oral tradition, so obviously, I don't have the time to give anything tonight. However, I really enjoy a good roleplay when it's introduced...

Re: The Fall of Kingdoms, The Rise of Guilds [IC]

"I do believe I will, as a matter of fact." Before standing up and leaving the table, he reached into his coat and left gave a gold coin to Kohanna. "Here. This will be plenty for your stay here. I am going to retire for the night, and perhaps I shall see you in the morning. Until the...

Re: Nemesis (Confrontational Roleplay)

I'm not sure I understand your take on the concept. Do you mean that in a financial or political way if taken into today's setting, or do you mean it in the same way I mean it? I understand by what you mean for today, but I'm not sure I understand the concept you'd apply to it. Could you elaborate? ...

Re: Nemesis (Confrontational Roleplay)

Well, I'll just start with a story. This is one of the better things I've written, and if you must know, there is definitely a longer version. L ong ago in a land long forgotten to time, there was a great and powerful Sorcerer king. He created the land itself. The mountains, the sky, the ground, and...

Re: Nemesis (Confrontational Roleplay)

Humour is great but the game shouldn't be completely ridiculous, like 'Flower Pot Man' and his enemy 'The Weed-Killer' or something. Ha. Got a good lol out of that one. I myself am quite fond of fantasy setting games. These are some of the best games to have a large conflict going on, as nobody can...

Re: Irony's Hammer (OOC)

Okay, so I've included my clothes. I'm not sure if I should have any other sets of clothing, but regardless, he always keeps the same stuff on. He isn't stylish and he isn't picky about what he wears as long as he isn't naked.

Re: Growing Shadow IC (Looking for People)

"I knew it." That was Zakus' first thought as he recovered from the teleportation. "I knew something was wrong!" he said out loud this time. Now wasn't the right time to be focused on being right about something being wrong with the world. Now was the time for action. He readied...

Re: Irony's Hammer (OOC)

You mean the good sparks or the bad sparks?

........

Cause I've had both before.

O_O

EDIT: 1-2-3 NOT IT!

Re: Growing Shadow IC (Looking for People)

"And I give thanks to the Great Mother, Gaia, for the bounty of the land. May she-" Zakus opened his eyes in mid-prayer. Something seemed strange. It felt like somewhere, something had just gone wrong. Inside his small cabin, Zakus looked down at the meat he was about to consume. He sudden...

Re: Irony's Hammer (OOC)

I imagine that the bars are more like ingots . I was thinking about the bars that often are used in modern day manufacturing or about the same size as an ingot of gold from Fort Knox. They aren't huge, but the won't fit in the palm of somebody's hand. I imagine that two could make an effective longs...

Re: Irony's Hammer (OOC)

Okay, I think that I've posted all things necessary to be awesome. It took me a long time to try and figure out what all I needed, but I definitely finished the list, so I think it's ready for GM review.

Re: The Gods Themselves (OOC)

Is is just me, or do these gods look incredibly similar to the gods of the realms of Dungeons and Dragons? I mean, wasn't Ao the god from whose dead body Bahamut and Tiamat were born? And Bane is definitely the god of war and conquest in D&D. Teior seems remarkably similar to Pelor, what with t...

Re: Why Is It...

Well, if people are so interested in the slavery aspect, do an RP in 1840s America. Damn. If all the people being slaves in these RPs thinks that it's so fun, they should try being actual slaves. It's like that scene from Roots where Kunta-Kinte was being whipped for not accepting his name as Toby. ...

Re: The Gods Themselves (OOC)

Ao is a jerk, imo. I actually like this person 'Teior, god of Guardians.' He is blind but who truely won the argument? The immature god or that one who actually thinks? Hmm.. Looks interesting Mr aether-san. :) Maybe Ao was just having a stressful day. He is charged with making sure the whole of th...

Re: Irony's Hammer (OOC)

He's REALLY FOR SALE?!?! .... Right. Anyway, I think I understand what you mean now. So, you don't really need me to supply you with a list I know, but I assume you'd like to keep it a common sense thing. If I enchant anything for anybody, I should definitely PM you. With that in mind, I guess I'll ...

The Gods Themselves (OOC)

The Fall of the Gods. It would go down as the greatest single catastrophic event of all time on the Material Plane of Onara. Many tales are different, but they all end in the same way. Perhaps it would be necessary to display exactly what happened to put things in perspective... Hundreds of years ag...

Re: Irony's Hammer (OOC)

okay, I've got that part. Now, what do the levels mean, exactly? What kind of symbols I am able to do? What determines the levels?

Like, if a Rune of Fire is level one, what level constitutes other things?

Re: Irony's Hammer (OOC)

I'm not sure I understand exactly what you mean. I think I get the idea, but I'm not going to try and be all smart without the knowledge in terms I understand. (Just because I took a year of computer programming, it doesn't mean I know anything about it. :P) Okay, I'm going to try to put it in terms...

Re: Growing Shadow OOC

I do plan on making a character for Earth, so I'm gonna try and reserve that spot if possible. I won't be able to get on and do it for a while. Right now, I really only have enough time for this message.
