One of my ideas is they have some ancient, glamour esque, shrouding magic, being creatures of magic themselves. Theyre an ancient evil, existing long before Lufgaw or even Mortimus, and are rarely seen beyond the Kalgrist river, so the art of detecting them has probably been lost to the ages. Im srr...
