Zeebarl scratched his chin for a moment as he and Uona continued along, replying to her questions; "Haven't a clue why he wanted to rid of it, but frankly he did seem skittish about the whole ordeal. I wish it was cursed, then at least some magic student could want to take a bit of tinkering to it for their research or whatever it is students of the magical crafts do with cursed swords. Suppose it simply was just because it's made of false gold, not much used as a sword really, more decorative than anything. Still, even a soft sword is still a sword if sharpened enough, but it's not really my job to question unless the deal is in question itself."

He carried on along the street, his cart splashing through a puddle from last nights rain, seeming to be heading straight ahead before suddenly telling his new employee; "I think we shall set shop outside that inn, or tavern or whatever establishment it was, that you were at earlier. Minstrel something I believe. Anyways, we shall probably be staying the night there. But first we shall acquire a tidy profit, well more of it, from the good patrons of this town."
As they continued on a bit further, Zeebarl kept silent awkwardly before asking Uona uneasily; "I don't suppose you have the funds for your own room?", as he looked around awkwardly, obviously not too keen on the idea of sharing a room, or paying for a separate one either, though tactfully held his tongue on the matter.

Welcome to Amtophia. The weather has always been nothing but sunny days, until lately storm clouds begin to roll in from over the eastern sea broad. All the citizens of this world can only stare awestruck as the first ever rain drops they fall down...

Having pocketed some bronze coins Hope handed him, softening the blow from the recent truth about his fake magical stock, as the cheery customer merrily took their goggles and wondered over to the other adventurers side. "Thank you for your patronage good sir, I do hope to be of service to you again.", the halfling thanked him automatically, though the usual enthusiasm was somewhat diminished now. He also acknowledge the mages thanks for his own business with the gentleman, replying; "No problem at all my good man, I certainly would of ran into quite a nasty amount of misfortune if I had sold them off before bumping into you! Thank you again for your services."

Odd, it seemed the young white haired man had planned on going with the group. Well adventuring sorts do tend to flock together after-all, for glory and vanquishing evil and all that guff. Zeebarl was only interested in the riches part of adventuring frankly. He was a bit taken aback himself at the red haired knights sudden reaction however, which lowered itself into mild interest at her snubbing the white haired strangers greeting, seeming quite miffed at the for some reason, before storming off.
How peculiar, seemed there was strife in the motley crew of there's already. Didn't forebode well, though then again he had just recently discovered he had been conned recently. Ah well it didn't matter to him, as long as the frustration wasn't at something he sold, barely noticing the young elf's apology on her behalf. It seemed he wasn't the only one who seemed puzzled, in fact it appeared all of the adventurers were quite confuse don the sudden moment of hostility, perhaps some past experiences this Hope character was forgetful of? Zeebarl thought to himself the bigger question was why would he care?
He shoved all interest out of his head as he put on one of his wide grins and waving them goodbye with a supposedly hearty laugh, bellowing at them as they took their leave; "Fare-thee-well adventurers, I hope you have many a tale to tell the next time you see old Weasel Eyes!"

It wasn't too long after saying his false-hearted goodbyes, before dropping his smile and turning to Uona and gave a heavy sigh.
"Hmmmm with your sudden addition to my esteemed enterprise, it seems I way have to plot my schedule a little differently. Well I believe our current course of action shall be to merely head back to town, and probably stay one more single day there.", he chattered in a matter-of-factly tone, seeming very uninterested in any input his new and only employee had to give, and selfishly grasping hold of his cart, and wandering off towards Briande, beckoning nonchalantly for the ogre warrior to follow, calling out; "Come along now Uona, we have work to do, and quality products to sell before the night comes."
A short moment of silence passed before he commented; "Shame the large fellow wasn't interested in anything, had a ridiculously large sword stashed away in the cart as well. Been meaning to get rid of the thing for years after that stuffy nobleman sold it to me."

The landscape of the eastern side of the continent is made up of thick forests that have the wide dirt roads scarring through to lead traveler's towards the various towns and settlements. To the west a vast mountain line outlines the country's border.

City of Brainde

"Esk." Drei repeated back, then snapped out of whatever trance she had fallen under. What was she doing speaking to this man again? She looked straight into his emotionless blue eyes as she searched for any recognition in them, or anything recognisable in them for herself. She couldn't find anything. Instead, she found a complete stranger in front of her looking at her with the first non judgmental gaze she had received upon entering the city... almost as though he had no knowledge of what she was. A little smile tugged on her lips at that but quickly faded as she spotted the slight point of his ears. "Of course you're half elf," she sighed, her face scrunching up in distaste. The first person she had been urged to speak to, and they were an elf. She averted her eyes from him, looking up at the space of air beside his head.

"I don't have the wrong person; there was never a person to have wrong." Drei explained indignantly, blowing a stand of hair from her face. It had been annoying her the whole trip, and she had no hands to tuck it away with. She then continued as though she were speaking to herself rather than the boy, "I just remembered a dream I had where someone like you was eaten alive, that's it. You'd better pray that I'm not a prophet, or..." Drei noticed the man's torn pants and the blood on his legs which appeared to have been made by scratching talons. The prophecy appears to be already halfway to fulfillment. I'm going to start growing feathers next. Drei sniggered in amusement at the coincidence and looked back up to the half-elf boy, Esk.

"What am I doing? I'm not here to make useless small talk. I need to put this down already," she said to herself and turned without a "Sorry to bother you, bye." However, she didn't start to walk. The street's population had tripled without her knowledge, full of people making the most of the last hour of daylight. She scanned the street for a tavern but couldn't see one anywhere and began to wonder how long it would take to find one. A sudden wave of exhaustion took over her at the thought of getting somewhere to eat and rest and fix her annoying hair after travelling with a Caesara backpack all day.

The rain is still pouring down but not quite as hard as it was before and there even looks to be a slight break in the gray clouds allowing a few fleeting sun rays to sneak past. The main dirt road that cut right through the city is a huge muddy mess.

The Minstrel's Mug

Wrapping an arm casually around his back, Lillian gave Reimel a guiding push towards the door of the inn. It was a soft guiding shove, more to herd him in the direction they needed to go. It was almost protective how she let her her fingertips linger upon the center of his shoulders, as she trailed close to him. The only time she let the gentle reassuring touch fade was to push open the well worn door. Her pale blue pools scanned over the various occupants as they crossed the threshold, as they adjusted to the much dimmer lighting within the establishment. There seemed to be a few free spots right at the bar, and that was where Lillian would lead Reimel, giving a pat to one of the tall wooden stools to show him where to sit before pulling herself upon the neighboring one.

Waving to the older dwarven woman tending bar, Lillian stood up some, balancing the heels of her boots that hooked on to a part of the stool, making sure she caught her attention. The woman would limp over dropping a crate behind the bar in front of where the two elves had sat themselves, so she could look over the counter easier and waited for them to order. Without asking Reimel, Lillian went ahead and ordered the pair a round of mead, fishing the proper coin from the pouch that hung at her waist to place upon the bar for the dwarf when she returned with the tall wooden mugs in hand. Lillian would then turn to Reimel and offer one of the mugs to him with a smile. "Do you know what you may be hungry for?"

Looking over your shoulder as you pass through the pit side of warehouse quarter of the city you make hast to the doors of The Minstrel's Mug. All the while trying to shake the feeling that unwanted eyes were watching you and waiting to attack.

Market District

Card followed not far from behind, peeking over her shoulders from time to time to make sure that delightful mob wasn't coming back after her. She gave Ryss a small poke to the back hearing the click-ity sounds, shaking her head in disapproval at the younger girl. She stopped rather abruptly while in the midst of sticking her tongue out at a random person giving the trio the stink eye, upon learning Munti didn't eat meat...
"So...no meat...? Okay we go to an inn then Munti!" Unlike Ryss, there was no concern in her voice other than the no meat thing. This girl liked her meat and in her recent daydream she was making a big ol'chicken her biotch and no froo froo salad was going to cut it. She looked over to an other stray chicken and grinned thinking if the inn was not an option she could just grab up one of those little guys and bring her own. She held back until their faun guide to give a definite answer. If he said no it was going to become a blood bath on this market road.

The Market District of Brainde, with lots of stalls with tons of food, and vendors hawking their goods at every turn.

Kuro was awoken by a streak of sunlight brushing his face. He opened up his eyes to find out that he was sitting under a tree. He was in a state of confusion as he cannot recall any of his memories including his name. It took Kuro a couple of minute trying to understand his current situation before a vivid image came into his mind, an image of a great sword. Kuro frantically searched his surrounding for the whereabouts of the sword and found the sword lying beside him. He found it to be important as it was the first image form in his mind. He tried again to recall his past by focusing all his mind into it but it was a futile act. Kuro finally given up to recall his memory before he finally stand up to investigate his surroundings. Not from where his place, he spotted what seem like a campground. After much thought, he finally decided to make his way there.

As he finally arrived there, Kuro was greeted by two soldiers whom were standing in front of the camp entrance.”It must be hard to travel alone without a companion, right?” one of the guards asked Kuro before letting him in. The only answer that was given to the guard was a shrug before Kuro finally made his way in. “What a cocky bastard” the guard said to his friend. “Maybe he was weary after his long journey” the other guard. “At least he could smile or answered my question…” was some of the conversation he could heard before the sound of people bartering, promoting and selling their stuff reached his ear.

In front of him was a small group of travelers and merchants. There was also a caravan which seem like they were packing up their stuff, to stock up in the city, he presumed. Despite all of this, what’s really caught Kuro attention was the place was heavily guarded by a bunch of soldiers. Kuro doesn’t have any interest with all the wares that was sold and just wandering aimlessly inside the campground. Many gave him a strange look while the others do not even care about his presence. The merchant especially gave him a, “you tried to steal my wares, don’t you”, look.

It was then a female merchant called out to him. Without much thought, Kuro made his way to the woman. Upon arriving, he saw that all of their stuff had finally packed up. “We saw that you were wandering aimlessly in the crowd. We taught that your companions unintentionally leave you here” the woman thought a bit before continuing his speech “Maybe they were heading to the city, so would you care to join us”. Kuro just nod to the lady question while he was puzzled about his companion. “Maybe what the lady said is true” Kuro thought to himself as he didn’t have any memories except about his sword. “Good, it never bad to have another bodyguard on our journey” she said with a smile on her face. Thus, began Kuro journey with the caravan as they made their way to the city.

Mostly a collection of traveling merchants and entertainers have made this ground their resting spots on many occasions. There always is one group occupying it at all times.
