Unfortunately working the street's isn't the safest job in all of Las Vegas, lots of crazies out there. Ella has a few scars on her stomach and back caused by a few John's pulling a knife on her. She has a tattoo of a hatchet on her wrist but has no piercings on her body besides her ears.

Abilities/Skills
Flirting: When it's your job to pick up men, you have to be flirtatious. Ella learned that rather quickly, and after awhile of losing johns to those girls willing to flirt, she managed to pick up the skill. It became a habit after a while, so now she finds that she'll occasionally flirt with men purely out of instinct to get on their good side. But really she doesn't actually like flirting, she'd only ever picked it up to survive the streets.

Acting: Ella often uses this particular talent in her everyday life, whenever she leaves her crappy apartment and convinces the world that she actually is absolutely fine. She likes to hide away how she's really feeling and her performances are rather convincing. Ella's capable of reciting Shakespearean plays and being someone completely different. When she was dealing with creepy strangers on a daily basis, she'd often just play a part for the john.

Running: Growing up, Ella loved cross country with all her heart, she was the star of the team. Despite preferring long distance running, she was also rather fast with short distance runs. El had real potential to go on and get a scholarship but she didn't exactly go down that path in life. She's found that she's also able to run in heels up to four inches, should an emergency rise.

Reading: Ella likes reading, and she's what most might call a speed reader. She can go through at least one decent sized novel a day. And she likes reading, she'll read practically anything. Even though she never continued her education past high school, she would still read textbooks from cover to cover, and because of that she is fairly knowledgeable on many subjects.

Fears/Secrets
If there's anything that Ella's afraid of, it's going back to the way she used to live. She's always a little paranoid when walking down the street alone, worried that her Ex- Pimp/Dealer would force her back into the life. What's more terrifying to her is relapsing and losing all that time and effort she put into getting clean. While being a former prostitute is more known, Ella hides the fact she used to be addicted to cocaine, mainly out of shame. She's a little afraid of physical contact, mostly just when someone touches her without her consent or by surprise. It's fine if she initiates contact or sees that the person is going to touch her. Ella's scared that she's going to suddenly lose motivation to get better and just fall back down and have to work from the ground up all over again.

Personality
Ella has always been an independent person, solving her own problems and rarely asking for help. She especially hates asking for favors, not wanting to owe anything to anyone. She's rather stubborn in that once she decides that she really wants to do something, nothing is holding her back. El can be blunt at times but knows when to bite her tongue. She often minds her own business, wishing for others to do the same, unable to help but get a little testy whenever someone starts to get nosy. She wouldn't be one to offer help, rather wait for the person to actually ask her for help. Ella's a realist, she just doesn't buy into that whole happily ever after and knows for a fact that there's no prince charming coming to save her. She believes that hard work and dedication are the only real ways to get anywhere in life.

She isn't all that talkative, mainly because she keeps to herself but also cause she has her nose in a book every spare moment she gets. Ella doesn't believe that honesty is the best policy, really she thinks lying is much better. It's not like she's a compulsive liar; she's capable of telling the truth, it's just that she prefers for people to know as little about her as possible. It's something that makes her feel protected, if people don't know anything about her how can they use it against her? Ella finds that she has a sort of motherly instinct coming through, being rather protective of loved ones and especially of little kids. Maybe it's just her biological clock ticking but she loves hanging around kids, taking care of them, playing with them, everything. She wants desperately to have her own kids soon.

History
Ella never actually got to know her parents particularly well, when she was maybe one her parents abandoned her, leaving her in a fire department. All Ella ever knew about her parents was that they were both in America illegally and she must have been born in the US seeing as her birth certificate was left with her. Though as Ella looks back on it, she can't help but be suspicious about whether or not that document was forged. She was shoved into the foster care system and was placed with various different families in the great state of New York. The older she grew the less amount of time she spent with families. She found out that most who took in foster kids were really looking for babies that they could raise as their own, not already-grown children that knew very well that they were not their parents.

Most the time Ella didn't last more than half a year in a foster family, but there was a family that lasted for a year when she was around 12. They considered Ella their daughter and she even thought of them as her parents rather than just foster parents. They even adopted her to make everything official. She also had a foster sister that was around a year younger named Sandra. Ella loved her family to pieces and everything in her life actually felt normal.

When Ella was around 15, her adoptive father's job had relocated him to Nevada. She really didn't mind, sure she might have been pulled away from some friends but at least she would have her family.

But things took a turn when her dad died of a stroke the following year. It wasn't really Ella that was the most struck by his death but more so her mom. She'd spend her days drinking and looking through old photo albums. Soon they were evicted from their apartment as her mother neglected to look for a job. They were forced to go into a homeless shelter and Ella was scared they child services might just take her and Sandra away. She just didn't want to go back into the system. Ella's mom begged for a while, though that barely gave her enough money to support her drinking. They'd been living in a homeless shelter for almost a year and Ella was close to graduating high school when her mother made her meet a 'friend' of hers.

Ella remembers the meeting very clearly, it still haunts her to this day. Her mother ushered her to an old apartment located just outside Las Vegas, the door was answered by a young looking man, maybe in his 20's. His name was Mike and he seemed to take an immediate liking to Ella. She started dating him and even moved in with him, really desperate to get off the streets. He was a a good boyfriend and Ella really fell head over heels in love with him. She'd known that he didn't exactly have a legal job but he would never really let her in on the specifics. During a party at their place, he'd convinced her to do a line of coke, telling her nothing bad would happen. Looking back on it, Ella really wished she would have seen that he was obviously lying but back then she was young and in love, she would have believed anything he said. She didn't think it would be that bad, feeling like she could do a few lines every now and then and pull herself back before she could ever get addicted. Unfortunately that really wasn't how it worked and she would soon be obsessed with getting another hit out of Mike.

Mike had her right were he wanted her, transforming from her boyfriend into her dealer. He really made her distance herself from Sandra and her mom, pulling her deeper and deeper into her addiction. Ella started having sex with some of Mike's friends for money, and Mike would arrange it all. Soon she was having sex with complete strangers, not really caring so long as she'd be able to get a bump afterwards.

Ella would continue down this path for several years, losing touch with any old connections from her past. Mike started to make her call him 'Hatchet', forcing her to get a tattoo of a hatchet on her wrist so 'people would know who she belonged to'. It really wasn't until she was about 26 that she was arrested for prostitution. At the time she was coked up out of her mind and could barely understand the questions that were asked. In the end she was sentenced to 6 months jail time and mandatory rehabilitation. After her first month in jail, she began the painful process of withdrawal. It was possibly the worse experience in her life, but after hitting rock bottom, there was really no place to go but up.

By the time Ella was released she had managed to get clean and was set on not going back to her old life. Unfortunately having all her connections severed, she really had no place to go. She stayed at a friends apartment until she could get back on her feet. Ella had managed to get a job as an assistant for the owner of The Inner Goddess, Mary. At first she was a little hesitant about working in a brothel but she actually felt right at home with the girls. Ella even got close to Mary, though she never did tell her about her past with drugs considering Mary's her boss.

Ella had found a small but comfortable apartment near The Inner Goddess. It was only a few days after she moved in that she found a playing card at her door. When she was younger, she had heard of the Legendary Aces but never really thought too much about the stories. She really didn't think much about the card she'd gotten, just tucking it away in her purse.

So begins...
