Smack dab between the metroplis of Las Vegas, Nevada and the way-town of Jackpot, Idaho lies a long stretch of road surrounded vast desert on either side. For years, offroading college students, sight-seeing families, and even nameless wanderers have mysteriously disappeared into this unmapped reach of flatland, driving innocently off into the horizon, without any return.This phenomena has been investigated and cold-cased by local cops, federal investigators, and government officials alike without any concrete explanation. Some accounts claim spontaneous combustion of the vehicles in the extreme heat, others credit the local wildlife and some even are so outlandish to blame the disappearances alien abduction, but firm evidence supporting any of these theories has yet to be brought into light leaving the family members of these missing participants baffled and hungry for answers.

Approximately lying 50 miles offroad, a single story government facility stands, barracaded by precisely 10000 square feet of concrete wall reinforced with rebar. News articles have reported abnormal levels of radioactive (and other) activity emitting from within it's walls, only to later have the governemnt disclose their facility as a test station for nuclear warfare. However, things are not always an innocent as they seem.

Recently, the missing 25 year old Anne Lynott was found by a Christian priest and his wife whilst aimlessly drifting along the highway. According to their account in the press release, Anne unable to identify herself and rambling nonsensically about time travel when they picked her up. After being transported to a Las Vegas hospital, Anne vomitted an unidentified green acid followed by horrible shrieking in a demonic tongue. She was later identified by family members, who Anne neither recognized nor empathisized with, (this apparent when she lunged at her father with a medical scapel) then died on her bedside that night. Oddly enough, the interesting part of Anne's narrative has yet to be stated. After an autopsy, morticians found that her innards were completely rearranged, but she somehow managed to function for longer than any normal human could hope to with that configuration.

This reappearance from the wasteland after a ten year disappearance has stirred civilian interest in the true purpose of the facility...


In this roleplay you will be taking the role of any character you might see to fit within the setting. The government has been abducting civilians and subjecting them to testing to create superhuman powers that they might later use on their soldiers. Each subject has amnesia, and an individual power, however this does not mean it wouldn't be interesting to play a scientist or a mercenary.
If not, scientist and government roles can be played by the poster as they see fit.
