Yumi let out a sigh as she heard the voices fade away. Another fail at making contact with her own kind. Although it was easy for her to make friends after she met someone, it was never easy actually making contact. She plopped down into the grass and leaned her back against a large tree, her wings spreading out a little so not to be splintered by the wood. Though they were made of dragon leather, they weren't exactly the strongest and could easily be damaged. Yumi tilted her face to the night sky, amazed that there were still so many stars even though she was down on the forest floor instead of up on the mountains. Closing her eyes, Yumi took a deep breath of the forest air, holding it in for a moment before letting it out and opening her eyes again. She had hoped to meet another dragon hybrid like herself, but quickly let her hopes fade after thinking it over for a few minutes. Hybrids were very rare nowadays, let alone a dragon hybrid, let alone even a dragon. This wasn't really a bad thing though. Yumi didn't mind being the only dragon hybrid left. She was actually very proud of her blood, despite what the humans thought of her kind. Still, living alone in a drafty cave wasn't everything she had expected it to be. Although she enjoyed the dark and how far it was above the forest, she was more sociable than this. Time to find some allies.. She thought to herself, standing up and brushing herself off. She took in a deep breath and cupped her hands around her mouth before shouting out a somewhat loud "Hellooooo!!!" in a bit of a raspy tone. It had been a while since she has had to raise her voice, but it was hopefully loud enough for someone to hear.
