Before anyone had a chance to say anything else the young blonde, Legolas's sister who Sérëdhiel hadn't seen aside from her visions in ages appeared before them, speaking on her behalf, defending her.
"Her words ring of nothing but truth. Any follower of Sauron should be dealt with immediately. He cannot be allowed to continued roaming our world unchecked. To do so would bring great ruin to all that live here." Sera took that as her cue to step back from the chaos she knew was about to play out, the tension in the air was thick.
"What you say is correct, Princess. We must put a stop to Burzum before any real damage can be done. Perhaps...sending a fellowship will prove fruitful once again. Who would go then, I wonder?" Lord Celeborn intervened, speaking of the Fellowship she'd seen rise, however she'd seen them fall as well. It was all dependent on who went and who stayed behind.
She watched as the young princess took a stand against her own brother, the King. It was a bold more on her part. One that would change the dynamic of the Fellowship and as Legolas retorted and moved for his sword the only one in the room who flinched was Haldir, the elf she'd once tended to after the battle in Helms Deep. However she doubt he knew anything about that. She let the group talk amongst themselves before she finally spoke again only this time it was to the entire room.
"A Fellowship of nine will rise." she said glancing around the room her eyes stopping on the Lord Celeborn.
"You will find your Fellowship amongst those in this room as well as past companions." she breathed.
"If Burzum should find us, before we him. Middle Earth and all who thrive within shall surely parish." She said as she glanced around the room once more.
She excused herself then, she could feel the exhaustion closing in on her and the verge of yet another cruel vision. She slipped out of the room and outside. She found her way to the
old gardens, a garden she only vaguely remembered from her childhood. She'd spent some of her child hood in the Golden Woods, because her mother had been close with Lady Galadriel at a point in time, that seemed so distant now.
She had to get out of that room. She knew what would become of all of them, she couldn't breath in the thickness of the room, it was suffocating. Night had fallen over Lorien, the garden was silent, with only the trickling of small waterfall to fill the utter silence. Her
dress dragging behind her as she walked slowly trying to clear her mind hoping Legolas didn't chase after her in some rage, because he couldn't take his irritation out on his sister. She figured he'd probably come after her, thinking she was trying to run. All she could think about was how much he'd changed, he was becoming the very thing he
never wanted to be.
She heard the soft thundering of hoofs on dirt as the sound grew closer, she turned to see Equinox as he came to a stop right in front of her nudging her lightly stomping his foot. She an her hand along the onyx fur on his nose, calming his nerves.
"You have nothing to worry about my love." she breathed to the animal in a language the was very foreign.
"I have missed you." she spoke softly, her bond with the horse was stronger then any other, he was probably a little too protective of her.
He was greatly relieved when the princes did not argue and simply took his arm. He would not take back what he'd said about the young elf. He was simply doing his job and trying to protect her, wether or not Legolas had asked him to, he'd have still taken it upon himself. He cared for her probably more then he should. They walked towards the throne room only just before reaching the doors she paused turning to face him and he held her eyes.
"Haldir.." she spoke his name and hearing her say it again felt good, he nodded letting her know that he was listening.
"I would like to be as we were. It is breaking my heart. I know that you are only doing as Legolas has asked of you. But you must understand. I am not a child anymore though he still tries to control me even here. I had hoped to escape that when coming here...yet I was wrong." he sighed at her words, sure she was trying to escape her brother's control, yet at the same time, Legolas was looking out for her. She'd very rarely been outside Mirkwood, there were some out their that could take advantage of her and hurt her.
"I would have my Marchwarden back by my side." she spoke pulling him from his thoughts and he met her intent stare just as she wrapped her arms around his neck almost as an apology, there was a distinct heat between them that made it hard to focus and he hesitated not exactly sure what to do, eventually though it was like time went from slow motion to real time and he hugged her back gently.
"Now come. My brother is not a patient Elf. He will wish to see me." she said simply pulling away and he nodded.
Once they got to the throne room Aeweth listened for a bit before finally barging in and he followed behind her as if for support. Legolas was there with his fiancé, only it wasn't the Legolas he remembered from years ago, his body language was stern and irritated. There was another Elf with him, one with wrathfully, long raven colored hair who he vaguely remembered as being the Princess of the Misty Mountains, but as he recalled she was supposed to be dead.
Haldir had missed most of the conversation, because his head been to clustered with distant memories of a long forgotten past.
"I will be joining you as well." Aeweth's words ripped him from his thoughts.
joining you? he thought to himself as he quickly tried to tune back into the conversation.
"You will be doing no such thing, Aeweth. You will remain here where it's safe. Away from the dangers of this Burzum." Legolas spat back in an ordering tone, that Haldir was unsure had even come from the Legolas he once knew.
The siblings argued Haldir was quick to step forward when Legolas itched ever so slightly towards his sheathed sword. He would not allow the King to lay a hand on the princess. However Legolas seemed to back down and so Haldir relaxed a bit as well but still kept his eyes on the King.
"Haldir, I would have you join us. If Aeweth is insisting upon going...I want you there as well." Haldir was quick to catch on top the topic at hand. A journey which the king would be taking was at hand and the princess was to join, danger was prevalent. Haldir was usure of what to say to the King, his place was in Lorien. It was where he was needed and he doubted that Lord Celeborn would let his Marchwarden leave.
"My king as great an honor as it would be to travel at your side. My place is here. I have exhausted my years of adventure, you know this." he explained calmly.
"Perhaps, Calemiron will take my place. He is much younger and more able bodied then I. The injuries I had sustained from Helms Deep, will only do you no good." he couldn't believe he offered the young elf, but he knew Cale was fond of Aeweth and would not let harm come upon her.
Before the others had time to answer the dark haired elf spoke up.
"A Fellowship of nine will rise." her eyes fell upon him and there was something about her voice that was eerily familiar.
"You will find your Fellowship amongst those in this room as well as past companions." she said and something told him then, he had no choice in the matter he would be joining this new fellowship.
"If Burzum should find us, before we him. Middle Earth and all who thrive within shall surely parish." her words were dark and as the room went silent was did a wave of distain that he could feel.
The elf excused herself and he sighed unsure of what to do.
"I will be of no use to you on this journey, old friend." he sighed glancing to the king, continuing their conversation.
