It was dark outside and people were walking around in the well visited nightlife streets of Montreal such as the Rue Crescent and the Boulevard Ste. Laurent. In a small cobblestone alley was a café in an old building. From the outside it, looked small with two tables outside and a six meter wide front with its entrance. There a young woman with platinum blonde or silvery white hair in a white dress shirt and a black pleated skirt served the few guests with coffee and delicious cookies and cake. What people didn't know was that, the young woman is a vampire who goes by the name Aurore de Frenac.
Outside drunkards could be heard with raspy voices speaking Quebecois. They passed the café and went deeper into the dimly lit alley. Suddenly it was quiet but then there was a scream. Aurore walked to the door to see what was going on. She spotted a man sitting against a blood-painted wall. Another stood in fear against a wall in fear. A third man stood there staring at the second with a grin on his face and blood at the corner of his mouth. Aurore went out of the café and said in French: "Hey! What are you doing?" The third man turned his attention to the fellow vampire. "Oh? We have a sweet young mademoiselle here. You will be more delicious." The attacker said. Aurore pulled her guns out to the shock of the café guests. "Ahh. A vampire. I guess your smelling isn't working right or you would know who you are messing with." Aurore said. The other vampire ignored what she had just said and charged. Aurore shot the man in the head. But the man just laughed. "Just give the silver bullets a moment. They are effective against half-vampires. You are worthless and honorless compared to pure-bloods. All you are is a minion or even a pretty dumb rogue." Aurore continued. Then the silver bullets started to work as the vampire slowly turned to ash. Aurore then went inside and called the police.

"oooh what a nice evening, the smell of summer in the air and jummy people everywhere, aha there's that shop I wanted to go to!" She walk up front to the small clothes shop, the evening sun giving the window an orange glimmer, in the window a manickin stands with a small dress in purple and black." well this is very pretty, I think I want it." she walks into the shop and walks towards the cashier that's looking down on her mobile, smiling at something. When Emelié gets to the cashier, the woman looks up and smiles. "oui, what can I do for you young mademoiselle?"Emelié smiles at the words, she wouldn't exactly call herself young anymore. " well I would love to try on the dress in the window if thats possible" she points at the dress she wants and the shopkeeper smiles, she walks to a rack of dresses and pulls an example of the dress out and hands it to Emelié. "Merci" she says ans skipps to the changing room, putting the dress on and looking into the mirror, she likes it. she buys the dress and leaves it on, not wanting to change back to her own clothes. She walks up and down the busy roads, soon seeing the place she wants to go to and enters a small alley, walking towards the café where policemen are sweeping up dust from what seems to have been a half-blood. she smirks, that fool, trying to attack someone here ha! she thinks as she enters the café soon seeing the person she wanted to meet. " Aurore!" she smiles and walks up to the woman she just called out to.

Soon the police came and aided the bitten man and the other. "He was bitten! We need to take care of him before he turns into a vampire." One policeman said. He pointed his gun at the man about to kill him. "Dont kill him! I have an antidote for people who had been bitten recently!" Aurore said. She went up to the man and rubbed a special powder on his wound. He screamed but soon it stopped hurting. "Make sure he gets medical attention and dont kill him! He wont turn into a vampire anymore!" She continued. Aurore then went back inside the cafe and made some more coffee, only to see a friend named Emelié. "Aurore!" The woman said smiling. Then Aurore greeted her: "Hello Emelié! You see that mess out there? Another rogue half-blood attacked humans. I had to put an end to his life. A half-blood without a master would infect a whole city unless stopped. They would destroy all vampires by extinguishing the blood sources. But anyways, how are you doing?"

" Ah I'm fine, waiting for father to come back to town from business in Prag but it seems he's not coming back in the next couple of days so I'm on vacation!" she says smiling at her friend," I wonder who the half-blood belonged to, I mean he would have to have had atleast one to become a half-blood." she walks to a nearby table and sits down, looking over at the few people still sitting in the café after the attack, they're all nervous and jumps at every sound and it makes Emelié laugh,

They're like small rabbits afraid of the wolves, I wonder what they would do if they knew we were vampires aswell hihi! she thinks as the people looks around the room thinking they would be able to spot a vampire if they saw one, oh how naive they were.

"Well I came with a request, as you know it is my birthday this week, or atleast I think it's this week, should be anyways, I would love for you to come, we won't be many only the closest to the family, we will be serving food ofcourse and Bloody Marys hahah, please tell me you will come, there will only be old geezers there that father invited." she look pleadingly at her friend, hoping she will come and make the party less of a bore.
