Akai listened to the red-haired teen babble, stating something near the idea of cardio machine. While there wasn't one on-hand, he might be able to use his own power to emulate the same effect. Of course, it would send himself into momentary cardiac arrest himself, but his back-up heart could take care of that.

Akai stopped preforming CPR, putting his right hand over where her heart was. His hand completely came apart, revealing seemingly self-conscious metal tentacles and other complicated miniature machinery. the tentacles--five of them--stuck onto her skin, latching on with miniature claws.


Akai unleashed a large shock of electricity that coursed through Tai's body, restarting her heart, and sequentially her breathing as well. Akai, though, gripped his own heart, giving a grunt, tipping over to the ground. He began to gasp for air, before giving a lurch as his mechanical heart rebooted his body.

He coughed. "Piece of cake," he said weakly.

Zanith seemed confused at first when the other boy placed his hand on the girl's chest, over her heart. He raised an eyebrow but registered what was happening as soon as his hearing crackled, clamping his hands over his ears and yelping - cringing. The sudden level of electricity being just enough to activate the modifications in his ears, making him hear a shrill, technological whine and electrical crackle. It was gone as quickly as it came and he brushed it off. He looked down at them both. The propped them both halfway up, the boy being propped up by his mechanical arm while the girl was propped up by his human arm. He looked over, relieved to see the girl breathing once more, able to tell from the quiet sound that he could hear and the slight rise and fall of her chest. Turning to the boy, he spoke. "Blimey, are you okay?" he asked, clearly concerned and slightly confused.

Tai's eyes fluttered open to see Akia and some red haired boy, "Good morning, And I'm fine though I feel like someone just tried to fry my Mods." she said horsley, her voice amplifier shot. She pulled herself to a sitting positions and set to work making sure her fingers and toes and everything in between still worked. After that she checked her eyes and they flashed bright red and did their job. "It seems just my voice box is bad." she croaked out to them. "I'm Tai, thanks for saving me, both of you." she said after introducing herself to the red haired kid.

Nagisa saw how everything happened. All she thought about was that they increased the reputation of the club. "Well done with Tais passiveness and Akais bravery we have increased the reputation of the club." Nagisa said. Then she called out: "Would anybody like to join our good cause? We are looking for new members!"

Her number one goal was to get new members no matter what. "Why dont we go back to the club and I will check up on you? Akai can come with us. Maybe we can also grab one of the other students to sign up for the club." Nagisa said to Akai and Tai.

Zanith looked confused. The girl that was talking was the girl who had spoken in his class. He looked at Tai and then the boy, who he assumed was ''Akai'. "Club?" he asked, not exactly sure what to make of the situation now. He kept the boy propped up with his artificial arm, since it was stronger then his human one by ridiculous amounts. "What Club? For what?" he asked. The technological whine in his ears returned and he winced, adjusting the output. He glanced at Nagisa. Had she set off his mods? No - to set off his mods she would have to be almost entirely artificial...

"Nagisa I need to go to the hospital, and have someone fix my voice box after that. I'll see you tomorrow unless you go with me. I should have had an extra heart placed in my body so I didn't 'die'" she whispered her voice finally not squeaking but it was a lot softer then normal. "Thank you very much Akia... Red haired boy. Oh the club is about body modifications. You should so join." she whispered as she stood and dusted herself off. "You still ditching with me Akia?"

"Thank you," Akai said to the red-haired boy, standing. He took a moment to balance, then another to allow his legs to remember how to stand correctly. Once he could, he took a step; his legs froze, beginning to fall again, when the one of the same boys who held him back caught him.

"Easy, there," the boy said with concern. "I dunno what you did, but whatever it was, it saved her." The boy was silent, complicating. "When does this club meet again? And where?"

"After school," Akai responded, "At the shack in the schoolyard." He then leaned off of the boy, repeating his process from before. This time, his leg did not freeze up, and he took a second step. "Thank you; I'll be fine."

The boy nodded, walking up to Nagisa. The younger boy who had been picked on followed suit. They looked to each other, nodded, then said at the same time, "We would like to join your club."

Akai, meanwhile, nodded to Tai. "Yes, I will still 'ditch' with you; but you need to be checked over at the hospital."

Zanith tossed the idea about in his mind. He was actually surprised that there was a club here promoting modifications. As he was thanked, twice in fact, he replied promptly with 'No problem,'. He listened to Akai tell the boys where the club was and when it met. Zanith noted this in his mind before standing as well. He brushed himself off before speaking up. "Akai, Tai - Would you mind if i 'ditched' with you? Class is boring and i always get the grade anyway. Plus i can't exactly say i'm not worried about you two." he said. As far as he was concerned, from what he saw at least, it seemed that the two of them keel over at the wrong kind of electrical current or anything. That might have just been him, though. The boy looked unsteady and the girl had gone into cardiac arrest, after all.

"If you would like to join the club, then meet me at the shack in the schoolyard after school." Nagisa said to the two boys. She then turned to Akai and Tai and said: "Sorry. I can ditch but I cannot come to the hospital with you since I will be waiting in the shack for new entrees." Nagisa then went out of the school building and into the shack. Shortly after there was a knock at the door. As Nagisa opened the door, she noticed a girl with purple colored hair. "Yes. I have heard you were looking for members of your club. I would like to join. What are the requirements?" The girl said.

"Well you will need to get a mod sometime. I only can do smaller things or a complete conversion. Dont worry. I have a license. But for a complete conversion you will have to come up with the money for the parts, lets say 180000 yen. It might cost but its well worth it." Nagisa then said.

"Complete conversion? So does that mean I will get most of my body replaced with cybernetics and other stuff?" The girl asked.

"Yes. But there are many advantages to it. You do not get sicknesses, your lifespan is extended by two or three hundred years, you do not age physically, you have access to the cybernet and you can get upgrades." Nagisa said.

"I will take it into consideration. May I stay here until after school? Then you could tell me more." The girl said.

"That's fine." Akai stated to the red-haired boy. He realized that he did not know the boy's name. He additionally realized that he had lost power to his computer system. "Dammit," he swore, looking down his still-open shirt to find the patch of red on his sternum had grown dark, no longer glowing. "God damn it. That surge took the last of my reserve..." he grumbled to himself. At least it had gone to a better porpuse; saving a life that otherwise may have perished.

He couldn't use his computer system. This meant he would have to ask. Socializing. Fun.

"What's your name, anyway?"

Zanith slipped his hands into his pockets. "Good, i don't really want to go back to class anyway." he said, shrugging. He seemed slightly surprised when he realized that Akai's shirt was still open, perhaps he always wore it like that, he didn't know these people very well. He cocked his head slightly. "... If you have a port, i could give you some of my reserves - not too much, but some." he offered. "I don't exactly have too much to offer in the means of energy, some of my mods are already screwing up anyway."

As Akai asked his name, he realized that that they had just been calling him 'red-haired boy'. "Oh- um..." he started lamely. "My name's Zanith. Zanith Alexis Iversen. I'm new here, just moved here from Denmark, but i'm from Russia." he explained. "And i already figured out your names," he said, passively. "So it's nice to meet you, i guess."

An awkward introduction, but an introduction nonetheless. His speech was slurred by an accent and he hoped they were able to understand him alright - but he figured they would be able to, they've been able to understand what he was saying the whole time anyway.

"Whats your name?" Nagisa asked the girl. The girl then responded with: "My name is Hikari Yamatoshizu. I am honored to meet you. I heard your name was Nagisa. Am I right?" "Yes. The name is Nagisa Akado, founder of the Body Mod Club and its president. Are you sure you will be able to afford a full conversion?" Nagisa asked. Then Hikari answered: "I got a lot of money from my parents after they had died. I have the money. So what will you be doing with me?" "Well I will have to put you into a sort of sleep and dismember you, remove your head from your torso, take out your brain for preservation, treat your skin unless you want artificial skin, replace your bones and organs, install the devices and software you want, add artificial muscles and other mechanics, calibrate your eyes, piece you back together and after putting your brain back into your new head I will finish you up. Afterwards you would have to do self testing. That is about it." Nagisa answered.

Hikari put her hand on her neck and gulped: "Uhh. Really? If its safe then I will cooperate." Nagisa then smiled to Hikari.
