         Leon Nero Lucifer



"I'll aid you. Let's make this a fair fight." Rang a voice from behind him looking back Nero saw a silver haired woman step through the crowd with a rather cocky smile planted on his face. 'Who's she?' he thought before turning back to the opposition "The name's Vesperia, what's yours?" she asked

"Since we're getting introductions out of the way I suppose it would only be fair. My name is Leon." He said smiling rather nonchalantly. "How about we finish introducing ourselves after we finish this challenge." he pointed out before dropping into a low but highly defensive stance moving closer towards the man passing off as The "Black Knight." 'If this man is have as good an who he's trying to impersonate then I should test him first.' stopping just out side of reach Leon began to examine his target. 'He may not look it but this guy is smart wearing a chain mail undershirt will hinder the damage done by my blade at least prevent me from cutting him to pieces but every chain has a weak link I just have to find it.'

During his examination Leon barely caught sight of another's sword coming at him in a swift upwards cutting angle, barely having enough time to react he was able to parry off the attack before delivering a counter attack that grazed and lightly cut the tunic. 'He's lacking strength but more then makes up for it in speed.' Scowling Leon took another step back trying to keep as far from the crowd as he could. "It's too crowded for me to take this seriously." he growled parrying a several wide arching swing while returning afew counter strikes aiming to end the fight as quickly as it had started.

         "Nine years has it really been that long?" Leon said to himself readjusting his sword so it sat comfortably on his hip. "Nine years since I lost my home. Nine years since I set out on this adventure." Shaking his head he pushed the door open then exited the room before making his way to the first floor. Greeted by the smell of high end meat and varying herbs and spices Leon waved down one of the workers. "If you don't mind my asking what's the occasion?" Despite his honest confusion the waiter looked at him as though he just asked something completely stupid. "In case haven't heard our little town is about to receive a very important individual." He explained but this proved to confuse Leon even more "There's just no pleasing some people." the waiter sighed before looking Leon straight in the eyes "Of course you wouldn't understand since you aren't from around here but... every year we are visited by a Black Knight, and not just any knight Lucifer himself is coming I tell you I'd give my own baby girl just for a chance to shake his hand." After hearing his own last name Leon reached into his pocket fishing out a small pile of gold coins and set them down before turning to leave. "Thank you for your time but I believe I've over stayed my welcome." Without even concerning himself with refilling his water skin Leon quickly made his way out of the inn.

Greeted by the bright sun light Leon took in his surroundings the streets were lively even for such a small town. "What's really going on here?" rubbing his chin Leon turned his attention to the gate or what passed as a gate in such a small town half expecting to catch a glimpse of who ever was trying to pass off as somebody who was long pass dead. "If I knew ten years ago what I know now then I probably would have taken what he was trying to teach me more seriously." He sighed before turning his attention to the mass of stalls being put up some to him seemed like a bunch of local farmers while others had more intricate patterns the obvious out of town merchant every now and then 'for such a small town it seems rather lively today there are merchants from all around Nirath just to meet a supposedly dead former Knight.' he thought trying to push the memory out of his mind
