Inessa
"Oh? How. . .open-minded of you," Inessa murmurs back, eyebrows arched beneath her mask as she teases the young Davenport girl before her. "I believe your siblings must agree with you- is it really rebellion if everyone else is doing it, sweetheart?" She goes on mockingly, not really the type who can remain sincere for very long. One cannot speak to the Blackwood girl without being mocked a few times here and there- it is simply in her nature to insult while she flirts. Adeline's response to her comment about angels in bed is both disappointing and intriguing, though she does want to know if it is true or not, despite not having actually heard the rumor before. Besides, if angels are good in bed, this one looks like she'd be especially excellent at it, with all of her fire and contradictions and, in Inessa's eyes, efforts to compensate for the fact that her family has a goody-two-shoes reputation.
"Aw. I'm not very patient though, you know. Why don't you just let me find out tonight?" The demon responds flirtatiously, the two remaining locked together while the rest of the dance floor moves for new partners, new spots and new dances. Adeline goes on to suggest that they go out for a drink, which happens to be exactly the thing that Inessa had in mind for that precise moment. A drink sounds perfect, and she is somewhat pleased that the girl drinks- with the reputation the Davenports have, she'd expect even the one going through a rebellious phase to be sober. A happy surprise indeed. "You are hot, aren't you?" Inessa says, looking the girl up and down and grabbing her hand with her own pale fingers before leading her off to find the bar, which is located on the pavilion just outside of the dancing area. The night is breezy and clear, with stars that seem countless and impossibly radiant. Inessa orders herself the strongest drink that they have, and glances over at Adeline expectantly, waiting for her to place an order.
