Welcome to Earth. In these times of turmoil, many countries armies are too hard pressed to deal with insurrection and militia disputes- other times, they are dealing with problems that military attention would bring to the public eye, and thus be imprudent. Thus, the Mercenary is a much desired commodity in this day and age.

The woods around Russia are, at this time of year, quite cold. With freezing rain or light snow being possible conditions, visibility may be poor, and the dead leaves all over the ground do horrible things for silent movement, especially considering the cold silence of Winter on its way.

This is the Legion outpost in Russia, where your regiment is currently based. It is a fortress with light defensive emplacements, as well as a small airbase. Surrounding the area is a thick forest.
