Physical Description
Appearance
Hair: She has short blonde hair, that frames her face in straight glossy strands. Smooth and silky rather than being soft.
Eyes: Her eyes are piercing brown, almost dark enough to seem obsidian black. They are the highlights of her face and are probably what make everyone shy away from her. The color is from the slight gypsy blood in her.
Build: Slim and healthy. She is slightly taller than most girls but that only seems to add to her appeal, because she isn't as tall as most men.
Skin Tone: Pale but firmly healthy.
Height: 5'5"
Weight:129lbs
Voice: Silky, and full of laughter. Yet again when turned into anger it becomes low-pitched and cold, definitely a voice you wouldn't want to hear in your dreams.
Handed: Right-handed.
Body Markings: Birthmark on the back of her left hand. She also has some scars on the tips of her fingers.
Clothes She prefers to wear her hand-made outfit. Some would say that it appears as if it's the finest made performer's suit for the gypsy circus and others would call it a masterpiece. Each Bookman in the tailor industry is required to make their own suit. That is what she came up with. (Look at the image.)

Biography: Miriel was raised as the heiress to the tailoring shop. She knew no better than making clothes and fabric. To the best doll, or the best finest made dress most of her family could handle it. She was raised to follow in the father's footsteps of taking care of the shop. Her mother was a quarter gypsy and so most of the townspeople shunned her but between their quaint family, Miriel knew there was love. Life was casual and sweet but even so, Miriel's dislike of the villagers was ever present. They were always so disruptive and sloppy, without even the notion of how to survive for themselves. So she visited many scholars during her free time simply to hear their stories of other lands and other places. Of the gypsies below Southtown, and of the pirates out at sea. Everything fascinated her. To this day she wanders the streets, or reads the occasional book. It's a slow process, with all the work from the castle or the villagers but it's rewarding enough.

"Even though she thirsts for knowledge, and her economic skill in tailoring is extraordinary most of the villagers know of her temperament. She can be calm and cheerful as the morning bird one moment and then the next, your flying across the expanse of the street while she hurls insults at you. It's not hard to insult her, but it's not easy to make a friend out of here. It's better to do your business and get out. It has been like that ever since her parents retired and withered away. Let me tell you, she didn't take to well to the death of her father and her mother going soon after was definitely a blow to her poor ol' heart. I pity that girl but I wouldn't ever tell her so. She has a strength that's uncommon for a ladylike girl like herself. Sort of scary." The older gentleman glanced behind him, sensing something dark and menacing. "Old man! How many times do I have to tell you guys to stop spreading rumors about me?" The gentleman waved a withered hand and chortled nervously. "No, no my dear. I was only discussing with the young traveler about him marrying you. Your such a charming young lady. You know, your mother would have wished for children." The girl's face softened for a fraction of a moment before she huffed and shook her head. "You listen here, I don't want any more trouble out of you. I'll have you facing the bakery lady again, and you know how much she loves you." The old man whistled before stalking off with a grumble. She laughed and waved goodbye to the traveler. "Sorry for that. That old man is more trouble than he's worth but he's actually very kind." Once again that softening expression crossed her face before disappearing. She turned and with a flow of skirts was away towards her shop, sitting elegantly on the cobble-stoned corner.

So begins...
