Every night of my life, I've dreamed. I've imagined. I've seen things that no one else has.
Every night of my life, a man comes to my window wearing a black cloak. I ask him where he comes from, but there's no response. He knows things that he shouldn't; I know that much. He knows my life, he knows every waking moment, and he's seen it from my own eyes. He only hands me a ticket that glows in the moonlight. I ask him what it's for, but he waves his cape and leaves.
I don't know why he comes, he just does. I can't tell why he decides to visit me, either, I'm terrified out of my mind every time I see him, it's as if he knows how to exploit me in every shape, way, form, and fashion.
The ticket is different every time. It always looks torn and ripped off lazily, as if someone'd decided to rush with sending it out, and maybe they had. Placing them together, they read a complete sentence.

"Can you visit that place in the sky, darling?"

"This encounter has happened to children 12-18 all over the world since, and they've all come out feeling strange. The rumored 'place in the sky' is said to be a place called 'Athenia', named after the Greek city, Athens, which is, in turn, named after the Greek goddess Athena. No one is quite sure what happens in Athenia, only that this is a periodic event that happens every five years, with varying children all going after this invitation, and none coming back. More or less, the encounter is a sign of death, especially if the Cloaked Man speaks to you.

And now, I believe, it's the time for the next group of children to go into Athenia. No one is quite sure what happens up there; only speculation -- a tournament, wherein which the winner becomes a new god, while, at the same time, learning from masters at Athenia.

There can be only one, it's presumed, and this one will have to take his or her position with a sense of pride.

Pray for your souls, children.

This is a new concept I came up with inspired by 'Mirai Nikki/Future Diary', and some other RPs I've been in. It's a test run, sure, but I think this could reach a interesting crowd if we do it right. :) Here we go, bio sheet~
