She watched him. It seemed as though his eyes were empty. She waved her hand in front of his face. "Hello?! Adam?"
She waited a few moments, and he still didn't reply. "Are you, um, okay in there?" She was worried now, he was the only one who seemed to know what was going on. She didn't see any other people around, either. Adam really was her only hope of an explanation.
While he was just standing there blankly, she noticed how tired he looked. Maybe he was just a bit sleep-deprived, not insane. "Hello?" she asked again, nervous now.
He still didn't respond, and she sighed, sitting down next to his feet. So, this is the Dream Land? For some reason, I would've imagined this place to be stranger than this. She closed her eyes, smiling a little. Regardless of how weird this was, the meadow was pretty and warm. And she could speak.
This place made her happy, she realized. But what did he mean about waiting until nighttime?
