A cat as black as night.
He lurks in the forests,
He brings to rodents plight.
Never one to catch scorn,
He struts through the trees.
Sireth hides in shrubs,
Playing with grubs,
And will do as he does please.

A black cat lounged lazily in a small spans of grass, basking in the mid day sun. His tail didn't flick, for he was devoid of any irate feeling. Stretching his paws, curling his toes, the cat rolled over and managed to appear even lazier than before.
The cat lazily opened his eyes, and spotted a man approach. Blinking twice, he pulled himself to his feet. A large cat was he, sleek and black. With a flick of his tail, he turned his back on the man. A leap, a bound, and the cat disappeared into the brush. Sneakily, he hunted around towards the second man, then scaled the tree he sat beneath. From his perch high up, the cat could see all, including his lady companion over there.
Sireth leaped down from the tree, landing just behind the apparent thief. Strutting, tail up, he made his way between the men towards the tree with the arrow. Plopping himself down on the roots, he shot his gaze from one man to the other.
"Mrow."
He then began to groom himself, leg in the air.
"Mrow."

Sireth purred in reaction to the strange mans touch, arching his neck sideways for him to better hit the sweet spot. As he did so, an eye lolled to glance towards the other. Was he going to pet him, or not?
Sireth watched the exchange from the ground, noting that the friendly man seemed to be leaving. Stretching to his feet, the lithe black cat padded after him. Just one more petting, his orange eye seemed to say while the green one was blatant curiosity. Sitting in the path of the pirate, Sireth stared.
Sireth was enjoying being pet, loving the hell out of it actually, when he heard the panicked call. Ugh, really? Sireth decided to stay put, knowing that he could catch up with her later. Opening a lazy eye, he saw the emerald tornado that was Caelesti and ceased purring.
