Jordin was always a strong, independent woman. She loved the feeling of accomplishment when she did something on her own, but she also loved when Jack did things for her, also. She was very opinionated and always spoke about what was on her mind. Recently, for a couple of months, she was very sick, and it started to get worse over time. She, and Jack, started getting very concerned when she would wake up with strands of hair on her pillow, and when she started losing weight very quickly. She decided to go to the doctor, but was dreading the news. When the doctor told her that she had cancer, she discovered that it was called Leukemia, and that it was treated with chemo. She started to get very sick, and wasn't able to eat anything because the chemo made her nauseous. She began to lose weight, and pretty soon, all of her hair. Whenever Jack was able to, he was by her side in the hospital room. Sleeping in the bed next to her and sometimes on the couch. Having Jack do pretty much everything for her was a big adjustment that was going to take some time to get used to. She went from doing things all on her own, to Jack having to do simple things like helping her get dressed, helping her get up to go to the bathroom, and helping her take a shower....

Jordin looked over at Jack, who was asleep on the couch in her hospital room. Her mom stayed over night with her every night, but she had to work during the day, so it got pretty lonely sometimes. The room no longer looked like a hospital room, and it was looking like a bedroom. Everyone's things were here, some of Jack's, her mothers...there were clothes, blankets, and even shampoos and make up in the bathroom. The hospital staff had encouraged them to make themselves at home, and it was starting to feel like home, even though she didn't want it to. She sighed, leaning back on the pillow and closing her eyes. She didn't look like herself anymore. Her beautiful brown hair was gone, her once beautifully tan skin was now a ghostly white and her eyes always had bags under them. She got plenty of sleep for the most part, but no matter how much she slept, she was always exhausted.

She bit her lip, looking over at Jack again. "Jack?" She whispered, looking over at him. She knew he probably wouldn't wake up, he was probably just as exhausted as she was. She couldn't blame him, after all, he always usually stayed up with her whenever he got there. He rarely got any sleep, poor guy.

If someone wants to continue as Jack, I would love it! :)
