Personality: Fragile and ever changing, Kalex doesn’t know her true personality. For now it is an afraid innocent, with a drive to live based purely on survival. With the absence of most memories she forgets pain quickly though the wounds linger, and will unintelligently repeat mistakes. No one face sticks in her head long enough to preserve the memory so new introductions are always necessary and her trust in a person is almost instant because in her mind they are the only person that exists. Because of her lack of memories she has a very low pain tolerance.

Power: Kalex’s abilities solely focus on memories and the storage of memories in objects. Her mind is a time bomb, everyday she wakes up and forgets the previous day, but from that point on she will remember even the most insignificant of details and events that occur on the current day. Essentially with Kalex the world gets a clean slate to alter her every day. She was not born this way but cannot remember anything but faint visions of her past, beautiful places and locations ingrained in her very bones.
Her power is seemingly useless, but the scientists figured better. They discovered Kalex’s ability to store memories in objects, as well as read other memories left on objects just by touch. The clothing she currently wears is her only personal object and holds very few memories over the days so she must be selective. Her powers have great potential but in her state the scientists are the only ones with the ability to unlock it making her a very moldable test subject.

History: She doesn’t remember anything but a few images. A great ocean stretch, a field of blue flowers, a dark lab with flashing lights, and a bustling sidewalk. Unknown to her she’s been at the lab for a few months now, her mind poked and prodded by the best of the scientists. Before she was tested on she had a past and could remember it, how did she remember her past before she was taken? She doesn’t remember how but she is frequently hit with sadness at the loss of something important, and she feels a faint tug in her mind pulling her toward whatever it is she forgot.

Other: For the scientists information, what she remembers but can’t put a name to or fully image is a few charm bracelets and beaded necklace in which she stored all of her memories. They probably keep them in her files. Also known to the scientists is her ability to make items into memory holes, deep destructive mind traps that suck an untrained mind into a dark or beautiful memory. So take care when handling items she may touch while being tortured because she may unintentionally store all of her pain in the object.
