Appearance

To be honest, it would be something of a challenge to describe the appearance of one who seals themselves away in an exosuit for such extended periods of time. However, in cleaner environments in which she would be more open to the idea of removing this metallic carapace, one would be able to see that Sarah's skin is in fact a surprising shade of tan, rather than the pale and pasty complexion one might expect. Her hair is black and her eyes are dark blue in colour. Thanks to the bulky armour, it is difficult to say for certain her exact height and build, although she does have a rather slim figure. According to her, at any rate.

Personality

Unused to life in the wasteland, Sarah is wary of practically everything out there. And with her obviously an outsider, clad in power armour that conceals her face, most wastelanders are wary of her in turn. While not the greatest at making friends up top, she wouldn't hesitate to help those she actually takes a liking to. Good friends being hard to come by in a world like this and all.

Gear

The most noticeable of her possessions would be the big ol' suit of power armour that keeps her protected against the harsh environment up top. For self-defence she carries an advanced laser rifle along with a more standard 9mm sidearm. Stashed away in various compartments of her suit are assorted medical supplies and scientific equipment more advanced than what the average wastelander is used to.

Skills

Sarah is well-versed in matters of healing the sick and injured, and knows her equipment's inner workings well enough to be able to perform repairs and maintenance, although actually finding suitable replacement parts would be another matter entirely. She knows enough about combat to effectively defend herself, but she is by no means a trained soldier, and would be more likely to flee than fight if outnumbered.

History

While the majority of the population that survived the nuclear devastation were on the surface, other groups took shelter in specially constructed bunkers deep underground. Sarah was born in one of these bunkers, designated "Nexus Five". At one point there had been more of these subterranean bases, but as time marched on several had either been found and breached by marauders looking for salvage or suffered critical system failures. With contact between the remaining Nexuses becoming sporadic, Nexus Five devoted all available resources to finding a way to safely colonize the surface. As part of the Nexus' bioscience division, Sarah was tasked with field research to help achieve this goal...
