Never Reaching His Break- Broadway has been a dream for Lance since he can remember, he's been in love with the stage and performing. Not being able to reach his break because of better people, has always been a fear of his he attempts to control but is fairly terrible at it. His dream role is to be Michael Mell from Be More Chill, but he just fears never being able to reach that level. Only doing community theater for his life.
Ending Up Alone- The hopeless romantic he is, and with guy after guy hurting him. He just feels like he's destined to be alone, and he doesn't want that. He wants someone he can raise a family with, and spend the rest of his life with. He wants that fairytale ending like his mother got.
{ Impulsive, Dramatic, Empathetic, Caring }
Ahh, a person who is lead by their emotions without care. While he knows he tends to...over feel things. He doesn't seem to mind that, although this leads to an impulsive nature which as a child often got him in trouble with his father. As well as his elder siblings, he was the youngest and it's clearly shown in his nature. Unlike his siblings, he gained most of his mother's personality and interests, much to his own dismay.
He has a dramatic nature, taking things to obscene proportions because he feels them a lot stronger than most. This was shown when he was in sixth grade, and the kid who beat him out for the school play had forgotten his name within a few minutes of meeting him. He declared him to be his rival, and still holds that to this day. While he's not an entitled and spoiled kid, you can clearly tell that Lance is the youngest, by his demeanor. He tends to let other people do things for him if he doesn't get it right and they have an issue with it. Lance is a person who stays strongly by his convictions, he doesn't let people bully him around unless he knows their influence means something. And even then, he has a tendency to clap backs with remark after remark. He's also empathetic, he feels other people's emotions as strongly as he does his own. Seeing other people crying, he tends to join them regardless. He just is a sucker for emotional connection, which is probably why he's such a hopeless romantic.
It may not seem like much sometimes, because he lets his ego get to him, but Lance truly cares about the people he loves. He tends to not show it in the most traditional of ways unless they're truly close, but he does love the people who see more to him than his face. He hates being thought of as just another pretty boy, attempting to make a career out of something non-traditional to avoid menial labor. He loves theater, and he wants to make it big.

Manuel and Alessia Aguilar were two Cuban/American college students when they met. Falling in love in an English class, within weeks they were in love. Eventually staying together throughout their years they'd immediately get married after, resulting in Alessia being confirmed pregnant a few months before their wedding. Manuel had worked two jobs, one using his teaching degree to become a local science teacher, and he'd often moonlight as a security guard. He wanted to provide for his wife and his future children. As their pregnancy went one, it would be determined that their one baby was three. Triplets, all boys, eventually being born on a sunny October day. Their life was perfect, with Alessia watching the children, and also taking a job at a nearby daycare putting off her wishes to become a Broadway actress. They were the couple all their friends were jealous of, somehow managing three evergrowing children and their own love life. Eventually, when their sons (Mateo, Miguel, and Manuel Jr.) were five, Alessia would be pregnant with another child.
At this time, the children would be going to school, and Alessia had begun to teach musical theater in the local community college, and eventually grew tired of having to put her dreams aside. Manuel Sr. had been very happy, he had his three sons and one more on the way. Then Lance was born, his mother naming him after her favorite uncle, she eventually left the children and her husband without a word. Manuel Sr, though mentally fell apart, he couldn't let his sons struggle. He took care of the newborn, with the help of his mother and aunt, and began to work three jobs picking another up as a waiter. Growing up, Lance knew the struggle of his father. He often wasn't asking for things, his brothers often helped him with his school work once they became old enough to. In between their own jobs, when they turned sixteen, their sports (Miguel being a soccer player, and MJ being in the marching band), and sharing two cars. Lance found time to pursue musical theater. Never meeting his mother, he knew that was the one thing he had a connection. Manuel has reservations about his son's interests because of his ex-wife but didn't ban him from doing it.
Even at the young age, he was, it was obvious Lance was a natural on the stage. He loved being in the focus of everyone's, often landing the leading roles in both school and community plays. Eventually, he began to catch the eye of a few teachers at Laurel, whose children were in the plays and began to talk to him about such when he entered eighth grade. With his father being not the most wealthy, still working two jobs just to get buy (with his three eldest sons helping), he had his worries. Eventually, he was approached by the headmaster who got into contact with his father, and he began to attend the school on a full-ride scholarship. The school was his dream, until the summer before his sophomore year of the school. This was when he met his mother, Alessia Ramirez (as she had gone back to her maiden name). She had reached out to him, hearing of his love for theater. Feeling like he could get to know her, he would often talk to her when his father was at work. Him trusting her, she was his mother right? Until she had started to ask for money, confused as to why he would ask and ask. She would always say she'd pay it back, but he didn't feel comfortable. He went to his brother, Mateo, about the woman. He eventually explained that she had come to them as well, for drugs. Her getting addicted well after her split from her husband. Hurt by this, he cut her off and carried on with his life. Shortly after his sophomore year started, he came out to his father and brothers. Them knowing well ahead of time, they told him they'd love him regardless. So life is pretty good, being an upcoming junior, he's excited to see how it'll turn out.
