Introduction
Story
A airborne virus escaped a laboratory in Jacksonville, Florida and multiplied rapidly in the atmosphere. At first it was not deemed urgent since only a small portion of the virus escaped but that small amount grew and within a few months it began taking hosts within human bodies by compromising the immune system and killing off the brain leaving the body in a zombie-like state. Citizens and military personnel around the world was soon given gas masks and other air filtering equipments as the government tried to contain the outbreak. After a whole year the government went onto Plan B, which forced the whole East Coast to evacuate towards the West where the government set up the borders for the establishment of New California. New California isolated itself with a fifty feet high steel wall that ran across the Californian border with only three gates, this was deemed as a refuge one of only three in the world.
That was two years ago, the virus reached its climax six months ago and now lingers only in certain areas of the world as dust clouds known as red mists since it cluster so much together it resembles a red mist. Being exposed to the red mist without a gas mask (Which has become scarce) guarantees infection, now the virus has become less of a threat the real issue now is the infected. When the virus enters a human's body they become infected, the issue is the infected become lifeless zombies that feed off living organisms, mainly humans but tend to feed off animals., and there is a large amount of infected roaming the Earth. The end result is that the scared hide within their homes in hope of being saved, the brave take the chance to reach the few refuges left on the planet, and the safe sit within their enclosed fortified cities as life passes by... Basically everyone's screwed.
Plot
You have grown tired of waiting for your life to come to an end as you hide within the base you and many others have sought shelter in, the problem is that resources within the base is running low and you need to leave before you meet your fate with death. So you and a couple of other individuals have decided to leave the barely functional base and seek to reach New California, even if it means traveling across the country because waiting to die is something you can no longer do. Don't worry about your title, everyone is a Dreamer (Unless you're deceased) because they dream of finding a place they can call home, a place they can feel safe, a place they can feel welcome.

Collectibles

Give your Universe life by adding a Mob, which are auto-replenishing NPCs your players can interact with. Useful for some quick hack-and-slash fun!
Mobs can be automated spawns, like rats and bats, or full-on NPCs complete with conversation menus. Use them to enhance your player experience!
