Corinne was still grasping on to the boy's hands when she felt a tap on her shoulder. A low growl was emitted from her, turning to the person who was trying to distract her from her new love interest. But then as if a switch was flicked, her anger immediately dissipated and she let go of the boy's hand, now focusing her attention on Alex. She tilted her head curiously, wondering why he was telling her to drink something. Would he like her if she did? Before she could ask he had bolted to the back of the store.
The angel stared at the cup, wondering what to do. She might as well drink it, assuming it was a gift from a boy. With a smile she drank the mixture, immediately feeling her mind clear. Now that she was no longer under the effects of Alex's arrows she carefully put down the cup and quickly slammed her hands on the counter in anger.
"Why you... I'm going to get you for this...." She muttered under her breath.
Remembering the boy that she was temporarily in love with moments earlier, she looked up ad offered him an apologetic smile.
"Uhmm.... sorry....? I don't know what came over me. Excusez-moi pour un moment." She apologized quickly.
Ugh! How embarrassing! She was all over a customer in front of the whole café, and she was acting like an idiot. Oh, dear, Mei probably thought less of her now. Mei's opinion of her was already bad enough. As a head waitress she needed to be a role model to her.
Upset and infuriated she stormed to the back of the café where she saw Alex run off to. Kicking open the bathroom door, she saw that he seemed nauseous and sick, but was too angry to really worry at the moment. It was probably because he had to make the antidote, but it was his own fault for shooting her with his arrows.
"ALEX!" She screamed, breaking her habit of usually calling him 'Boss', "You promised to never shoot me with those things again! Do you know how much trouble I could of caused? I was practically about to kiss that boy!"
Breathing heavily after shouting, she tried to calm herself down and took deep breaths. "What were you doing with those arrows anyways? It's been decades since you last used them."
