Personality:
When Locke transforms into the Hanged Man, his personality is as opposite as it can possibly be. Where as Locke is normally quiet and Dark, the Hanged man is rather up-beat and always grinning, but still somewhat quiet. He'll spout off how good it is to be alive and just how much fun life is whenever he gets the chance, however. As for that pesky sense of respect, gone. Yes, any sense of respect Locke felt for his elders is more or less smaller than dirt. The only person he respects is his boss and that is it. Not to mention, The Hanged Man and Locke do NOT get along very well. Don't think that because of his lack of respect or his new found love for life that The Hanged Man wouldn't put himself in the way of danger. He would do it in a heart beat and without a second thought. He has no sense of self preservation, throwing himself in the way of danger for those that he knows. He doesn't stop to think about his action, he lives in the moment and does whatever slips into his mind. Even if he doesn't respect people, he will still jump through some hoops to make them happy. In his mind, life is too short to be dark or brooding and one must enjoy it all. He often has no problem in setting himself back a step if it means that he can leap ahead two steps.

The only time this guy tends to slow down if when he reflects upon himself. He doesn't seem as confident with himself as Locke is which cause him to stop and think about himself in detail. He is always wanting to improve and exceed everyone's expectations. He is even willing to change his point of view if it means understanding something or someone better, but don't be surprised if he can't make a solid decision. He can almost never seem to make up his mind truly; he regularly flips and discards his old decision. Also, he has an odd fixation with chewing gum.

Brief Description of Transformed State:
Though The Hanged Man is very bright and cheery, his clothes represent a very different feeling. His normal attire consist of a nearly all black suit, top hat, and gloves with a white dress shirt being his only splash of color. His hair and eyes also mimic the same feeling as his clothing; straight, raven black hair and dark purple eyes. As for his skin, even though it is paler, it looks healthier than Locke's. At first glance, he seems almost as weak and as small as Locke, but with a closer inspection one would notice that he is actually slightly taller than Locke (about 6'1") and has a much more defined body. Rather than being just slender, The Hanged Man has plenty of lean muscle.

Skills/Abilities when wearing mask:
As Locke puts on his mask, he is granted an even better perception of people, able to predict almost anyone's movements, but loud noises (such as a gun shot or thunder) will often throw off his ability somewhat. Along with his new found perception, Locke is able to wield heavier objects than he normally would (ie: a large shield or car door).

Skills/Abilities of Transformed State:
Loved One's Remorse (Minor) - The Hanged Man tells a tale about execution and fills the target's mind with a false image of a loved one being executed in a gruesome manner, most likely causing them to hesitate or back away. Those with good perception can see through this trick.

Favor of the Gallows (Minor) - The Hanged Man throws away all sense of the world around. He pushes himself to rush in to intercept an ally that is in immediate danger to use himself or his weapon as a shield to deflect or absorb the blow. The farther an ally is, the less likely the chance is of him actually being able to intercept.

A Dead Man's Hand (Minor) - The Hanged Man calls out for assistance, causing the hands of the dead to slip through the ground within a small radius (7 meters). The hands grab at anything that pass over them, for a short amount of time, to slow it down or trap it completely. The hands can be hacked away.

Hanged Man's Resolve (Major) - The Hanged Man jumps far from his enemy with his eyes locked on to them fiercely. He awaits for the perfect opportunity, his mind working double time to predict and isolate when to strike if they start to rush towards him. When he sees the right moment he slams his shield into the ground three times with all his might, channeling the majority of his energy into the ground. As he strikes the ground, the ground under and around (15 meters) begins to shake more and more with each hit until the ground under his target erupts. If caught directly under, the target is likely to be shot backwards and injured seriously. If caught on the outskirts one can usually get away with just a few cut and some momentary dizziness.

Weapons they have when they have transformed
The Hanged Man is no stranger to protection, and his weapon of choice is a large, steel tower shield that he uses both defensively and offensively.
