As soon as everyone glanced away, Dom quickly pulled on his clothes and scrambled to his feet. "Oh, okay. Yep, lots of men, lots of guns, let's get going now!" He declared. Anya's concern was a legitimate one, and it made them all stop and think. Alejandra's suggestion was a relief- somewhere safe and unknown. But before Faye could even do as much as take a step towards the car, gunfire broke out- aimed at them. Instinctively, she raised her hands, striking up the strongest wind she could around the soldier. She'd half been hoping it would knock the gun out of their hands. She knew that, in the heavy body armour, they were going to be hard to knock over, but throwing off their aim might be enough. "GO!" She screamed at the others. Poppy didn't require much more instruction, starting to drag Anya over towards the nearest car. "Can you pick the lock? I can break the window but... not ideal," she asked.
Almost as soon as the chaos broke out, Finley managed to stumble behind a car, wishing he was able to help, but knowing his ability was useless against a gunman in that much armour, it wasn't worth using his limited energy to try. Dom appeared a moment later. "Was gonna try and claw his face off. But he's wearing a helmet so that one's out," he said. "Do you know how to pick a lock?" He added, looking over at Finley. "What's the point? I don't feel well enough to drive, and you're limping. And you're seriously going to leave everyone behind?" Dom dared to poke his head up to look into the car. "Automatic. I could manage. But fair point, where are they?" Finley looked at him
Finley stick his own head up, scanning the area. But before he could even spot where anyone was, the shooter spotted him, and Finley sunk back down. "Think Anya and Poppy are over there. Faye might still be holding her own, I don't know. Dom, man, we might need to go.They wouldn't want us getting hurt." Dom took a deep breath, looking up above the hood of the car. Then in a burst of speed, he sprinted to the next car, ducking behind it, and continuing to scout around for the rest. And when he still couldn't spot anyone, he darted to the next one, still watching all the while.
