Dear new student,

Congratulations on being accepted to the North Star Academy. This is the place for you to progress and grow into a person with a new look on life. You will be rooming here. In closed with this letter, you will receive the uniform for the school and a list of rules that must follow. I hope have a wonderful time and learn. Don’t for get our saying:

Orbis terrarum est locus of admiration

North Star Academy was built on that saying. The world is truly a place of wonder and is home to many different races of beings. Sadly, beings of the mythical and supernatural are living in fear of being discovered. North Star Academy is a place were both humans and these other races collide. The humans that attend don’t know this but, North Star Academy is a place where races with unnatural traits learn to live and get along with humans. The humans think it’s just another private school. The existent of these races must stay a secret and so not even the human teachers are told about their supernatural students, and with that said,

The Package


Including the letter, a package with the rules and uniforms is delivered to your door.

Uniforms:

Uniforms are black, blue and gold, which are the school colors. Rules about uniforms are simple. Uniforms are only required to wear during classes and you must wear most of it when you do. What you wear with, under, over and on is up to you. Here is a description of the uniforms:


Girls-

The uniform is simple white button-up shirt with a royal blue tie with a gold star at the end of it. A black blazer covers it. It has a breast pocket with a star design on it, and can be button to look professional. The bottoms it a blue skirt that matches the color of the tie. The knee-high socks are the same color and the shoes are black mary-janes with a star on the buckle.


Boys-

The uniform includes a simple white button-up shirt with a royal blue tie with a gold star on it, just like the girls. They also have the black blazer that has a breast pocket with a gold star on it and can be button up. They wear black dress slacks and black dress shoes for the bottom half of the uniform.

Academy Grounds


Outside-

The grounds of the Academy is very large. It includes the lake behind it and the 10 acres of forest behind it. These are safe in the morning but is at the will of the other races at night. The lake is use for swimming and there is dock where boats and canoes are lock up. You may ask for a key.



Inside-

The Academy is split up into three wings. From the Entrance hall, the West side of the mansion is the dorm rooms. Rooms are numbered and in order of boy-girl-boy-girl. Girls are even and the right side of the hall, boys are odd and the left side. Each dorm contains two students, usually one human, one non-human. Each room has a bathroom with a shower and toilet, two beds, and desk. The East side is for classes. There are rooms set for each class. Every class room has enough desk to seat 30, a teachers desk, and a chalk board. The North Wing is the cafeteria. Here students meet and eat. The place can be cleared and used as a large area to use for dances/events and P.E. when it’s rain or to cold.
