Flirtatious, dynamic and extroverted are the three words that can be used to sum up Jacques the best. A smooth talker with a reputation for being a player, Jacques seemingly ‘untameable’ quality only helps to make him even more irresistible to those who fancy the pants off him. In all honestly though, Jacques isn’t too proud of his bed hopping, heart breaking ways and will often try to warn girls he has stronger feelings for, even going as far as keeping them in the ‘friend zone’ when they don’t heed his advice.

Jacques is also quite the social butterfly, and tends to frequent parties whenever he can. He seems to have endless supplies to energy and enthusiasm, as well as being quite a class clown and the kind to do stupid things just to make people laugh. However, despite his wanting to make people feel better when their down, and to care of those he likes, his advice isn’t always the best to take, and his playful antics can occasionally land him in trouble, as many get angry when he doesn’t take them seriously as they’d like. It’s not that Jacques doesn’t care, it’s more that he doesn’t see much seriousness in such everyday disputes. When it comes to much serious matters however, such as people threatening his friends with things that could really hurt them, he tends to become very loyal and scarily calm and stoic.

Jacques was born in Paris, France in 1969 and lived there his whole life until he was changed into a vampire. Living through a time when their was drastic social change (as well as a great movement in fashion and music), growing up for Jacques was never a dull moment. His father had left his mother by the time he was born, and being only 17 and single, she raised him with the help of her own parents. Most of his childhood memories are pleasant and ordinary, besides the protest marches and occasional strike or riot. The teenage years were amazing, filled with sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll. After attending his first party and loosing his virginity at 15 years old, Jacques life pretty much consisted of party after rock concert after protest march from there. Education was incredibly unimportant in Jacques mind at the time, and so he planned to ealve school early and become a rock star. However, still in a band after four years with no sign of making it big, Jacques stumbled home drunk one day only to be taken by a beautiful girl into an alley.

The memory of his changing is hazy at best, though he does remember the incredible pain that wracked his body, then waking up thirsting for blood. His first kill was a homeless person, though some of his human conciousness remained and he steered away from killing innocent people. However, his thrist was hard to ignore, so killing the homeless was his only option. One day, he was taken in by the James vampire family after being caught feeding. They offered him safety and shelter, which he gladly took. Since then, Jacques has been trying his best to change his ways and has been spending the last decade going in and out of university, taking any course that aroused his fancy. He has still to find his 'calling' though.
