         The nagini beamed happily at the returned hug, finally releasing Akira so she could move about properly. The kitsune's voice sounded as lovely and amiable as ever- her smile further encouraging Lalita that the friendship was mutual and both parties were enjoying the company. Lalita even flushed momentarily in delight upon hearing the kitsune assure that she hadn't forgotten about her.

The serpentine woman perked up even more if possible, a look of amazement in her eyes and manifesting in her voice. "A human!? Really?" exclaimed the nagini, slithering back and forth in excitement. She'd never seen a regular human before! Well, at least not as far as she was aware. Fascination bubbling inside, Lalita began to badger her friend with questions, her words coming out quickly in her excitement.

"What did he look like? Was he nice? Did he smell interesting? Where'd he come from? Is it just one human? Is he scary? What was he like?" she asked, practically bouncing around as her curiosity was piqued. Her tail twitched and even her hood flared automatically- eyes dancing with wonder as she awaited every word with rapt attention.

It was only after she stopped speaking that she started noticing the other scents of not-too-far-off living beings. She recognized at least two, but the others she wasn't familiar with.

         


After clearing her plate of food and cup of tea, Ondona stood up from the table and began to walk towards the door of her room. Mistress Ondona, mind if I ask where you may be going?" Her butler, Royka questioned as he began to clear the table of dishes before heading off to the kitchen to wash them. I think today I will be going to town to buy our supplies this time, you have done this for a long time now and I believe you deserve a well earned break." She smiled at him and knowing that when she meant something she meant it he resigned and gave a nod of affirmation. "As you wish, but if you need my assistance don't hesitate to call. And before you go please remember to bring your things." Royka suddenly appeared next to Ondona and handed her a purse along with a bow and quiver. "Thank you very much Royka." She thanked him before going out the door and into the pristine hallway with blue marble tiles.

Walking through the hallways of Castle Divine, Ondona saw many other Gods and Goddesses hanging out in the hallways, mostly talking to each other or for a few certain few flirting with each other. She had hoped that she would not be noticed but one person noticed her and approached her, and that person was one person was one person she did not like. "Why hello my darling Ondona, it is rare to see you outside your room but I for one am thrilled to see you. I have been worrying about you since you never get back to me when I send those letters to you." The man formally known as, Yenar, a god of love began to speak to her and one of the few people that actually would notice her. The man was a flirt, and he did not have the manners to boot especially when she went to the ball last year and he got all touchy feely. Yenar, I have stated that you should not talk to me until the bad blood between us boils down. But seeing you talk to me means you forgot all about the ball last year." She politley stated and the man clutched his heart like he was injured. "You break my heart! I thought the bad blood between us had gone away but atlas I will have to follow your wishes. You will be fine darling and I will never stop." The man simply backed off and dissipated from sight. The one reason why he was even talking to her in the first place because she is one of the few Goddesses to be swooned by him but there were other Gods of love that did his job better then him.

Arriving at the entrance to the castle, she looked at the two metal giants guarding the door and already knowing what she might ask they opened the large stone doors and she in response stepped outside into the world beyond this castle, Earth. It had been such a long time since she had left Castle Divine, was it one year? Or maybe it was ten years? Whatever the case she was happy to be outside again and walked down the marble path that led to Hidden Acres, the village of the supernatural and hidden from the humans of the world. Her first thought was to gather supplies, but she also wanted to go out in the woods and hunt again. It had been such a long time since she used her bow but she knew she would never grow rusty no matter how long she stayed away from her bow.

         Teddy took a deep breath and began to walk through the garden. He occasionally stops to smell a few flowers, take in the scenery, and just let his senses delight. He begins to go through the confounding mazes of the trimmed flora and hedges. He knew this garden very well, well enough to keep himself from getting lost. Teddy then walks out of the other end of the hedges and confronts the forest into the unknown. He felt a conflict within his thoughts, he had been told for years to never go beyond the gardens for no particular reason why, but he felt the desire to go into the forest burn within him.

"One foot in front of the other," he begins to tell himself, trying to calm himself a little, "Just one step at a time."

He then begins to walk into the forest. He was taken aback by how beautiful the forest was, this forest seemed like something maintained it, or maintained itself, like some sort of pathway. He begins to follow a natural trail, but begins to feel something, a feeling on gets when it feels like the trees are watching you.

         Castle Divine, a place that has been forgotten by man and occupied by the Gods and Goddesses of the world. Here one such Goddess lived and slept...

Inside one of the many rooms in Castle Divine, the Goddess of the Hunt, Ondona Lyraura, was sleeping in a large queen sized bed, with large red curtains surrounding it, blocking all light from shining on her eyes. A voice soon called upon her to wake up. "Mistress Ondona, a new day has dawned today. Would you like me to prepare breakfast and read out your schedule for today?" The voice rang out in the silent room. "That would by very kind of you Royka, would you also prepare a nice tea to go with it as well?" The Goddess replied to her butler.

"As you wish Mistress." Royka replied as he began he went to the kitchen to prepare the meal for his Goddess. Ondona on the other hand slowly sat up in her bed, rubbing the weariness in her eyes before taking hold of the curtains surrounding her bed and pushing them aside to look around her room. Already prepared and lying down on a table next to the bed was her clothes, already washed, cleaned, and properly folded. She soon placed her feet on the red velvet carpet occupying the entire floor of her room before she began to put on her clothes to begin yet another day.

With her dress on, Ondona walked to the center of her room passing the mosaic windows and many other furniture in the room before sitting down on a lone crystal table with a plate of pancakes and tea already set upon it. "For today I have prepared a nice helping of blueberry pancakes and the tea you shall enjoy today is Green Chai Tea. I do hope you enjoy." Royka explained the dish he had created before giving a deep bow. "Thank you very much Royka, now what might my schedule be today I wonder?" Ondona asked as she gave a small smile to show her appreciation to her butler. "Unfortunately it is the same like the previous 500 years...just one lone hunter asking for your favor in his hunt, and that our food supplies are running low. Of course there was a letter outside your door inviting you to this years ball, would you like to participate in this years ball?" Royka asked and Ondona shook her head. "I think I will not be going to the ball this year, after what had happened during the last years ball I would like to avoid the patrons until next year."

         Our story now begins...

Teddy is riding a limousine to the Ursa Summer Home. He is both excited and fearful, for the first time in his life, he was being left at the home by himself. He sees the house in the distance and begins to feel it loom over him, even from its distance. He wondered what his mother met by, "Please get to know the neighbors," as far as he knew, nobody lived within miles of this place. Another thought is puzzling him as well. He was told to not let anyone in... Or out of the home. He couldn't wrap his mind around the thought, nobody would be in the home except him. None of the family servants would come as well, he couldn't help but think they were afraid of something.

He shakes the thoughts off for now, though. He had one thing on his mind, the Ursa Gardens at the back of the summer home. He was told to never go into the forest at younger ages. But now that he was by himself, he had no one stopping from venturing into the woods. As he reaches the home, he exits and begins to operate the lock on the front door. This lock is a combination lock, an unusual choice from the normal hardened locks that are on everybody's door. As he operates the lock, he recites the combination and pulls a bar as the code is dialed. He enters the house and into his room, it was still a few hours from lunch, so he switches to outdoor clothing and then proceeds out of the backdoor, with the garden looming infront of him, he begins to psych himself up to venture into the woods.
