"Thank you for your remarks. You look interesting yourself. I have never seen a Red Panda before. So it's nice to meet you Ruby,'' Platyp said, smiling. "So, what have you three been up to?"

Ruby thought about it for a couple of seconds.

"Eh... Not much actually. This morning I woke up as a red panda and they happened to walk by. They were reborn, like me, so I joined them. I think they were looking for food. We went through the forest and they explained some things to me. Then we reached this clearing and I found delicious bamboo. And then you came!" Ruby explained.

She didn't know what Hana and Tsuki had been doing before she met them.

"How long have you three actually been like... this? Animals?" Ruby asked.

Tsuki thought for a moment. "I don't know... It varies depending on who you're asking, I suppose." She paused. "Although I've only been like this for a couple hours, I think some of us have been in this state for almost half a day..." She wasn't sure. It's not like she asked any of them, but it never hurt to guess.

The bat looked up. The sun was significantly much lower now. They didn't have a clock, but she assumed it was roughly around 5. The sun hadn't set yet, they could still keep going...
But did they want to? Tsuki had echolocation and night vision -she was a nocturnal animal in the first place- but that doesn't mean the others do. There are certainly a number of animals that could attack them if it gets dark, but they needed food. Ruby might need to carry a supply of bamboo with her, not to mention she and Hana still need to search for food.

"We have some more time left and we need more food." She stated.

Tsuki continued she train of thought a little longer before cutting it off. It's okay, they haven't encounted an animal-animal even once their whole time so far. She must be overreacting. Again.
Besides...

What's the worst that could happen?

Hana stirred and sat back up. "Food huh...." she mumbled. She WAS kind of hungry. But it was getting dark wasn't it? Oh, but cats could see in the dark right? Well either way she felt much more comfortable hunting during the day. She stood up and circled the tree in the middle of the clearing. There was no particular reason, she just didn't want to stay still. Each of them were going to have to find their own food. Hana could find fruits, but if she tried to carry them back they'd just break in her mouth. She herself didn't want to mistake any humans for prey either, so she wanted to be alone when she hunted.

"Tsuki, I'll be deeper inside. I don't want to mistake any of you for food. Be back in an hour or two. Hopefully before it gets dark." she said.

She gave a little nod to Ruby and Platyp. More of a "see you later" but it's not like she could wave goodbye to them. The panther took off into the forest, taking large strides and enjoying the speed she was going at. It was nice. She felt strong and powerful. But she knew she had limits. After about 10 minutes she slowed to a stop. She should be far enough from the rest. They couldn't run as fast as she could and Tsuki flew. It wasn't likely Hana could catch a bird yet. They were too small and agile. So Tsuki should be safe from her instincts.

"Time to catch some food," she muttered.

"Tsuki, I'll be deeper inside. I don't want to mistake any of you for food. Be back in an hour or two. Hopefully before it gets dark." she said.

M-mistake any of us as food? Tsuki sweatdroped. That's definitely something you don't hear everyday... She thought as the panther ran off. The bat thought for a moment. On the positive side, Hana will be able to catch some animals much faster now that they aren't in the way. But... On the negative side... They just lost their most powerful ally.

Anyway... About food... Hana's out looking for meat, Platyp went fishing and Ruby just found some bamboo. That leaves...
"Well, we eat different foods, so we could split up... Or we could stick together in case... something happens." She was the only one who didn't find any food for herself yet. She can breifly smell the sent of fruits in a direction. It would be best for her to go there...
"Umm... I'll have to go look for some fruits, so I'm... going to go this way... You two can come with me- but if you don't want to, that completely fine!" She didn't mind, but she didn't want to sound rude. She slowly flew towards the sent, almost being drawn to the source.
