The rain beat softly against the roof, the droplets raced another down the window leaving a broken trail. The sun was hidden behind the grey clouds that blocked everything in the sky. There was no wind, no servants in the courtyards everything was still and quite. A young girl sat in the windowsill watching the rain hit the ground splashing into little puddles. Today she was going to be allowed outside the walls of her palace, everything was suppose to be different but it's still the same nothing has changed. She pressed her hand against the window, fog began to form a circle around her fingers. The coldness soothed her, relaxing her entire body as her hand slid down falling back into her lap. Rinnea's skin was paler than usual her long blue hair falling around her small shoulders, her blue-green eyes transfixed on nothing. There is not a single thought running through her mind, she was completely empty today due to all of her hopes and dreams being crushed by little drops of water that fell from the sky.
