MTV is constantly concocting various ideas for television shows that often either relate to teenagers, portray daily lives of them or manipulate them to no end. Whether the show discusses and portrays teen pregnancies or the controversies that surround crazy parties on the shore, MTV shows never let down and surely don’t disappoint. Now that MTV are casting for a new reality TV show, millions of young adults jumped at the chance for their blissful moment in the harsh spotlight or their chance at reconnecting with a past acquaintance or maybe they’re there for their shot at a cash prize. In the house is a variegated of a sizeable variety of college students and recent graduates, some strangers to one another, others having past connections, best friends, school acquaintances perhaps even worst enemies.

When a small cash prize is offered every week, of $500, not only does it tempt teenagers to join but it exploits them into staying. The question lingering on everybody’s minds is how to acquire the small fortune after every week and the answer would simply be through manipulation. Every week, one cast member is selected and given a task to discretely complete throughout the week, this task often being the cause of various drama, they are known as the ringleader. At the culmination of the week, house mates are asked to submit who they believe the ring leader is, upon guessing incorrectly the ring leader shan’t be revealed but instead given a cash prize in secret, upon the house mates guessing correctly the ring leader is exposed and the cash prize is added onto the next weeks and will continue accumulating until they guess incorrectly.

In a mess of attraction, lust, manipulation, greed, deceit, friendship, hatred and perhaps even love the housemates will undergo rigorous tasks and are expected to attend various events held by the producers of the show. In a desperate attempt to gain trust, how will you know who to trust? The answer is simple, don’t trust anybody. The real question should be, what will you do, when you’re forced to be the ringleader.

The house is located in a private section of Huntington Beach, California and rules dictate that the housemates are given WiFi connection meaning that they have access to twitter accounts if they have them and instagram accounts. They are allowed to have phones meaning that they can call and/or text people inside or outside the house. Housemates are allowed out of the house at all times as long as a member of the staff is notified.
