Cain tends to have a lax style outside of school hours. Generally, a t-shirt or V-neck will do. As for pants, maybe athletic sweat pants or jeans would be picked. Expect him to wear whatever he gets his hands on first, though comfort is his first priority. As far as shoes, once again, comfort reigns. He owns many pairs of tennis shoes, running shoes, and a select few pairs of boots.

Landry really doesn’t care much about how he looks. He knows he’s at least semi-attractive most times so he finds no need to put in extra effort. As long as he’s clean, he figures it’s all good. Facial hair is something he’s always lacked because when it does grow in it’s incredibly thin; once it shows itself, he shaves it anyways. His hair is always low-cut (less maintenance that way), and his smile is almost always present. Warm days are his best days, sporting sleeveless and short sleeved shirts that allow peeks at his lean, cut muscles he’s trained for maximum endurance on (and off) the court. His eyes are dark and deep, his features are well structured, and his skin almost glows in the sun. Standing at six feet two inches tall, he’s truly a sight to behold.

Cain is an aggressive individual in essentially everything he gets challenged with. He’d jump into tumultuous waters if he thought it was best for him. An unstoppable force, he pursues what he wants, giving his all and abandoning all doubt. Some would think of him as overly ambitious, but he’s just determined. He doesn’t want to be the best. He wants to be the best HE can be. He’s truly a force to be reckoned with when he puts his mind to it, and he won’t stop until he’s seen it through.
Though he does have this attitude towards challenges and his own accomplishments, he’s beyond relaxed in all other aspects. He doesn’t walk, he ambles. He takes his sweet time when he does things he doesn’t consider truly important. Sometimes he has a real problem with prioritizing the right things, but he generally gets everything done. He’s not a slacker (which he is commonly mistaken for). He just prioritizes what he believes is most pressing.
When it comes to friends, Landry isn’t all that picky. He likes people that have good intentions. He vales strength (emotionally and physically), trustworthiness, persistence, and resilience most. Though he does tend to have many friends, he’s not really a people person. He values his alone time. Unfortunately, this tends to lead to him not commonly contacting friends and family. As far as he concerned, if you really know him, you know he cares. As a friend, Cain is an encourager and sometimes a protector. He believes his friends should be able to stick up for themselves, but if need be, he will step in.

H I S T O R Y
Born and raised in Louisiana, Landry had a very traditional upbringing. His mother, a Creole witch that went to school in Salem, imbued upon him a set of old Southern traditions and sayings that she’d also be raised on. His father was more lax when it came to traditions and gave him a sense of exploration of himself and openness. With these guides, Landry grew to be a great kid. Landry attended public schools his entire life because both his parents agreed that he needed to learn restraint and responsibility about using magic and the magical world while learning to relate to others. Their planned worked out well, and their son thrived. He communicated well with other children, even becoming a bit popular after he got into sports. After school, he’d do his homework and study her and her work, absorbing all he could. For a long time it continued this way. Once he was of age he enrolled in wizarding school and found that he had a knack for potions. His slight background with his mother teaching him herbology was a big boost and put him ahead of the curve.
When his mother got word that Salem was now open to accepting males, she was beyond excited. The possibility of her son learning in the same place she’d learned fueled her and she pleaded for him to go. The look of happiness and pride when he said he’d consider it tugged on his heartstrings. With his reluctant agreement, Landry was sent to Salem.
