Saria Galanodel's Story

There was a time in Saria's life where everything seemed to be perfect. Her mother, Silvyr, was a young struggling musician just trying to make her way in the world. She had no desire of becoming big and famous, she just wanted to do what she loved for a living. She had barely reached adulthood when she met Saria's father, Luthias, the mayor of Moonleaf. He was drawn to her because of her raw musical talent, something he greatly admired. Their love was swift; quickly into their relationship together, Silvyr became pregnant with Saria.

Silvyr's life seemed to be falling together with the love of Luthias, her daughter and her music career finally seeming to take her places. Things were perfect... until Saria's 80th birthday, when a group of bandits attacked their village, holding Saria and Silvyr hostage inside their home. Sensing the invaders, Luthias was able to save Saria, but before he could save her mother, the bandit that held her slit her throat.

Saria can't remember exactly what happened, only what survivors can tell from past memories. One minute she saw the flash of the bandit's blade, then the next thing she knew she was waking up in the forest, her old friend Favian watching over her. Sarua was distraught for days. After wandering the roads for a couple of days, they stumbled upon a travelling group of performers called the Iron Lycans, led by the very famous Tabaxi bard, Antonio Bandersnatch, who overhead Saria playing her fiddle and offered her to join them. So Saria and Favian joined the troupe and Saria began studying the trades of a bard.

She has never resented her father for not being able to save Silvyr. Her adventures with Antonio and the rest of the group took her all the way up to Neverwinter, where their performance at the Iron Hook earned them a pass to the King's Quarter's most established tavern, The Golden Crown. Not too long after, Saria became very well-known among the nobles as the savior of The Iron Lycans. On her travels, she began to study many spells, including Prestidigitation and Healing Word.


Unbeknownst to Saria, the Iron Lycans were harboring secret ulterior motives and were carefully grooming the young elf to become an assassin, using her abilities in manners of beguilement and distraction. Once this agenda finally came to light, she managed to escape. She was eventually xxx...xfound wandering the woods by Favian, whom had befriended a colony of rats that hid her in the sewers to protect her from Antonio. It was there xxx...xthat they helped her find connections to get to Waterdeep.

xxx...xExhausted, starving and filthy, Saria eventually made it to Waterdeep, where she met Gnick Snachez, a teenage Tabaxi with a tendency of getting xxx...xin trouble. At the age of 83, both Saria and Gnick fell victim to an attempted assassination while leaving the Royal Library one night. The attack xxx...xwas led by Antonio, whose orders were to end her life so she wouldn't spill the Iron Lycans' secrets. Saria barely managed to escape with her life. xxx...xDistraught with grief and fear, she and Gnick decided to find a group of adventurers to help them put an end to Antonio Bandersnatch once and xxx...xfor all.
