Setting: U.S.S. Peacekeeper, Deck One, Main Bridge Stardate:2413O4.1O 1150
Making her announcement as she stepped out of the turbo lift with na'Tefri hovering close behind her, va'Larr began to witness Mizore as she sat down in the Captain's chair and observed her as she started to issue several orders to make the ship to get under way, including having her ship brought onboard to one of the shuttle bays by Sammy. Marveling at the eloquence of how she had issued the orders, Mizore Simza had reminded va'Larr of one of the Templar officers from the ship she served on as a Caretaker Ascendant to the Caretaker Prime during her early years pursuing her path as a Caretaker which caused her to feel at home and even a bit giddy.
va'Larr thought to herself ::I can easily find myself admiring and be getting along with this woman quite well:: Upon finishing that thought the alien woman had then turned her attention to va'Larr and said to her "As for you ..." which after finishing that statement had motioned va'Larr to her side which va'Larr graciously complied and had stationed herself next to the woman with which she continued "I thought you might like to have this, as I am sure you will be needing one sooner or later." Mizore said, extending her hand toward her "It is, well, more specifically was, my Starfleet communicator badge. it is your own now, to do with as you wish. If I may suggest, though, I recommend you integrate and sync it with the ship's communication system. Also, feel free to make it your own, as we are not Starfleet officers on 'this' ship." va'Larr nods her head in appreciation of the beautiful gift she had received from Mizore.
After watching Mizore issue a few last orders, she dismisses herself from the bridge and proceeds to make her way to the observation lounge, after upon which she enters with the doors closing behind her. As now only her, Neuman, Sammy, and na'Tefri are the only ones on the bridge she began to proceed to ask Neuman if there is anything he needs from her only to notice that at the current junction in time he seems to have his mind preoccupied elsewhere. Not willing to disturb Neuman, va'Larr then makes her way over to Sammy and asks " Would you please make sure my new communication device is now synced and integrated with to the ship's communication system." "Of course va'Larr." Sammy replies "Is there anything else I can do for you?" va'Larr responds, "Just let me know when my presence is required on the bridge, thank you, Sammy."
va'Larr, turning her attention to na'Tefri, motioning her to come to her side, "Please avail yourself to engage in taking some non-invasive yet detailed scans of all current systems here on the bridge, then once you are finished with that series of tasks, please meet me on Deck two, Senior Officer's Quarters, room four." na'Tefri responds "Very well va'Larr." Once she makes sure her new communicator is ready for use, she attaches it to an appropriate location on her uniform and makes her way to the turbo lift, which upon after the doors open and entering thereafter, va'Larr issues the request "Main Engineering if you would please Sammy." Sammy replies, "Of course va'Larr, and va'Larr?" va'Larr responds, "Yes Sammy?" "Thank you for the kindness and generosity you have given to me," Sammy says to the alien woman. "It is my pleasure and honor to convey my respects and decency towards you," after that the doors to the turbo lift close and ferry her towards Main Engineering.
After reaching the first stop of the locations she needed to travel to, va'Larr had started to gather her possessions in Main Engineering. Gathering her things, she began to experience another flashback of her time as a Caretaker Ascendant on board the Min'Khadra, where the Caretaker Prime was relaying vital information about general maintenance mandates and how to best apply the proper personnel per their appropriate areas of expertise. Upon gathering her belongings from Main Engineering and retracing her steps back to the turbo lift, she then said to Sammy "Deck two, Senior Officer's Quarters please Sammy." "Of course va'Larr," Sammy replies.
Setting: U.S.S. Peacekeeper, Deck Two, Senior Officer's Quarters, Room Four Stardate:241304.10 1230
As the turbo lift reached the final leg of the journey, va'Larr stepped out of the turbo lift and makes her way to room four of the Senior Officer's Quarters to find na'Tefri patiently awaiting her arrival. "Sammy, if you would, would you please secure room four in the Senior Officer's Quarters section of the ship as designated as my private living quarters." "Of course va'Larr," Sammy replied. "Thank you, Sammy." After entering and surveying her quarters, she sat down her carry all and began to unpack her charging arcs and the respective interface modules needed to connect to the ships power relay system and started to make the necessary modifications required to perform there desired function. After she completed the task at hand and places the charging arcs at each point of the bed, she then took a moment to merge with na'Tefri to discern how the ships computer file matrix and related subroutines work, while starting to make notes to herself before disengaging the link. After that task has ended, va'Larr then proceeded to retrieve na'Tefris charging cradle from her belongings and instructs her to begin her charging sequence.
Once she was satisfied with her progress, va'Larr then engages her charging arcs and climbed into bed to say a small prayer for her new family, whereafter she then slips into her state of slumber and dream dreams of her homeworld, her people, her new family, and of new memories and of things yet to come.
