In This Flower Country, Trust Is Everything
EDELWEISS CITY ⯠The capital city, named after the Royal family and housing the grand royal palace, Edelweiss City is a place of overwhelming beauty and peace. In this city, there is no difference between those with wealth and those without, as all are treated equally. The buildings are similar in appearance to those in small German towns, and the Royal Palace resembles that of Rivendell in Lord of the Rings. The city has an overall theme of white and silver, as well as green, with many lush parks and forests dotting the city and the surrounding area. The Edelweiss flower grows in every corner of the city, the white flowers earning the beautiful capital city its name. XX
AZALEA DISTRICT ⯠A small area on the far outskirts of the country, riddled with pollution, crime, and extreme poverty. Almost all the homes are tiny and made of frail wood or sheet metal, none of which having doors or glass windows, some even without roofs. The only buildings are occupied by members of the cruel gang that rules over the district. This gang controls entry and exit of the district - no one is allowed to leave, and entry requires a hefty sum of money. Citizens are required to wait hours, or even all day, simply to get food or clean water (as all the lakes and streams nearby are polluted). Stealing is the only other way to gain these items, and punishment is severe. A disease stemming from contaminated water has wiped out close to half the Azalea District's population, and the only cure is in Edelweiss City. XX
LAVENDER COUNTY ⯠A small, coastal port town that provides opportunity for trading between the five districts and several other countries. The town consists mostly of docks and fishing shops, as well as huge storage sites for importing and exporting food and other goods. There are also inns and hotels for those who come to see the ocean, however they are not often frequented by anyone other than those who transport the goods from Lavender County to the other five districts. The town also has an extreme issue when it comes to slavery, as almost ninety percent of the work force in the town is made up of unpaid slave laborers. There are no laws against slavery in the country and many of these workers are underfed, though no one really cares. Lavender grows here in huge amounts, overpowering other scents. XX
ROSE QUARTER ⯠The country's most popular tourist area. Considered by most to be 'as beautiful as the capital city itself' and often frequented by visitors wishing to escape the city for a time. Inns, restaurants, and fancy shops make up the entirety of the city's buildings, and vast gardens of roses of all colors are what attracts the quarter's constant guests. Mazes and lakes, rivers, and well-kept forests surround the area, enclosing it from the pollution and busy atmosphere of the other districts. The Rose Quarter also has an issue concerning slavery, although it is nowhere near as bad as in Lavender County. Most of the slaves here are paid - though little - and close to none are without a home or decent meals. Edelweiss City gains a wide majority of the profits gained from the Rose Quarter's tourists and other such guests. XX
WILLOW DISTRICT ⯠Mostly farmland and forest, with small groups of shops and businesses dotted about. The people in the district are avidly against slavery and are petitioning to outlaw it. Visitors are uncommon; merchants from Lavender County often drive through but rarely stop to try and sell anything. The citizens refuse to buy from Lavender County due to the slavery issue. The Willow District is beautiful and vast, being the largest of the five areas simply because of the farmland and forests, and have the most wildlife compared to the other five. Willow trees grow here in excessive amounts and thrive in the fertile soil, so there is an abundance of shade all around the district. Running streams with purified water are common here. XX

In a world where flowers and nature are valued over diamonds and gold, there is a single family that rises high above the rest - the Royal family of Edelweiss. The line of Edelweiss traces farther back than any other in the country, and every firstborn male has at one point been King. Of course, this means that the Edelweiss family has always been given the heavy duties that come with ruling over an entire country. XXX

They rule with kindness and with hopes for nothing less than equality in all parts of the country. However, this isn't the easiest dream to achieve, especially when the Azalea District - birthplace of the country's entire military force - has been taken over by rebels who refuse to answer to their King. The Azalea District has always been revered for its ancient buildings and strong-willed residents, harboring the entirety of Hana's police and military forces. The District has forever bred brave soldiers who would do anything to protect the country, though luckily they haven't been needed much. However, in recent years, the area has been overrun by several large rebel gangs, none with good intentions. XX
The Azalea District has become ridden with poverty, slavery, and crime. Only those who are submissive or extremely strong can survive there, and anyone who tries to leave is killed immediately. No one is allowed in, but no one has tried. According to the rest of Hana, the Azalea District is all but lost. The King has given up on the District, not willing to risk his city's few soldiers for a battle that cannot be won. XXXX
However, despite his father's hesitance in retaking the Azalea District, the country's young Prince Eiji has not yet given up. He continues to thwart the Azalea District's trading routes - intercepting carriages full of weaponry and arms, destroying the stock and slowly diminishing the supplies the gangs would be able to use against the District's citizens. The Prince is determined to win the loyalty of the Azalea District. XX
One day, while conducting a raid on another shipment of goods headed toward the Azalea District, the young Prince comes across some cargo he did not expect - a boy not much younger than himself, beaten and traumatized and more beautiful than any lady the Prince has ever met. Instantly, an odd bond between them is created, with the captive teen now devoting himself as the Prince's personal servant and slave. XXX
The thing is, a Prince doesn't usually fall in love with his personal servant, right? XXXX
While the Prince works hard at gaining his new friend's trust, the rebels in the Azalea District have begun searching for their lost cargo, and soon the fight is brought straight to the city of Edelweiss itself.
