Taking place six years after the plot of 'Until We Meet Again', "We Met, And I Fell' tells the story of Nanase Yuki - Yutaro and Hiruka's daughter - as she enters Senior High school. Yuki is used to being alone, since having two fathers is more than unconventional in this day and age. However, she is content to spend her time playing the piano and writing songs. Being alone doesn't really bother her anymore. XX
It does seem to bother one of her male classmates, as during the second week of school, Yuki finds herself confronted by him - and making her very first friend since Elementary school. The two don't have much in common except for their love of music, and they're both awkward at first, but soon the two are close and sharing facts as if they've known each other their whole lives. They get along well. XX
But their relationship starts to become difficult when they confess their feelings for one another. Yuki is afraid that introducing her boyfriend to her parents will turn him away from her. Meanwhile, her boyfriend has a similar secret of his own to hide - he has two mothers, and is just as scared to admit it. Will these two lovebirds release their secrets? Or will their love falter through fear of what might happen? XX
