But right now, I think its a better idea to side with them." she inclined her head towards the sins and smiled again.
"Alex, if you don't mind me asking, why did they cast you out?"

         Envy took a shaky breath; her head hurt, her throat was tight, and everybody was having a wonderful time without her. They never wanted her around.

She set her brush on the vanity table and stared at herself, stared at her tired, black-rimmed eyes and her fried and broken hair, stared at her sickly, almost jaundiced completion and narrowed her eyes. The other Sins were making some kind of a commotion not to far away from her, and though she hated them all for not waiting for her to be there, she couldn't help but feel curious. What were they talking about this time?

Well, she'd just have to go find out herself. Envy slammed her hands down on the vanity with enough force to leave the heels of her palms aching as pushed herself up and moved to the door. It was strange to see her move; she was thin and unhealthy looking, both spidery and snake-like, and it gave her an almost extra terrestrial appearance.

She walked quietly over to the small gathering, just in time to hear Pride giving out compliments to some filthy fallen. Envy seethed. Pride never said anything nice to her, never complimented her, though she was sure that she was due more than her fair share of praise-- but no. Of course he never gave her any compliments, the blind fool. He only ever thought about himself anyway. Involuntarily, Envy felt her lip curl into a snarl.
