Personality

Pete is very nice and that is part of the reason that he is considered so smart. Most intelligent people cannot express what they are trying to say and they are given less credit than they deserve. If Pete ever gets upset with someone, he will throw himself into his work to keep his mind off of it. Pete is a very hard worker and will not quit until he is satisfied. In fact, he has been known to skip meals because of work. He makes up for it when he is not working, however. He is known to be a party animal sometimes.

History

Pete Raines is a classic young genius case. When he was 15, he graduated high school and went to college, getting his BS in environmental engineering. He then got his masters degree and PhD in Chemical Engineering. During school he was offered many jobs at prestigious companies, but he continued to stay in school. Once he graduated, many were surprised to see that he went to a company called The Peltzer Group, a fairly small company compared to his other offers. Pete was automatically given a Head Researcher position; this bothered a lot of the other people who had worked there for much longer. He has many rivals within the company, but as Pete doesn't tend to be very competitive, he pretends as if there is nothing wrong. This does not mean that nothing is wrong, though, as he has been known to really hold grudges sometimes.
