He wholeheartedly believes in the cause, and he is extremely loyal to his chosen people. He has a strong sense of right and wrong, and it feeds into his idealism. He gets easily exhausted by company, especially more than one person. He is intelligent and makes decisions quickly and solidly. Knox was born to the only doctor in a village of 500 people called Resurrection. As quickly as his traveler father had blown into town, he was gone again. He never even knew he had fathered a child. Dr. Rosemary Wright raised Knox as a single mother. As he grew up, she began taking him to work with her, and he would watch her perform her duties every day. Naturally, he began to absorb her knowledge and skill. In his teenage years, he was her full-fledged apprentice.
He was 18 when he began having visions. They started out as strange, warped nightmares of the High King and a plant and an explosion. As they continue, they become less vague, getting more and more defined. He joined The Prophets at the age of 20. He quickly became their go-to guy for anything that required medicine or a doctor's touch. He could even perform a handful of minor surgeries.
When he left, he told his mother that he was going to find his father. To help him on his supposed quest, she gave him an old picture of the man with a name scribbled on the back. Enoch Conrad. Knox took it, and he began planning what he would say and do if they ever met. It stays in the back of his mind almost always.
Now he is singularly devoted to The Prophets and healing.
