-PROLOGUE-

For over a thousand years, the people of the planet Ragnaron have been engaged in a conflict that has all but destroyed the very crust they walk upon. Nuclear explosions and virus bombs are a common sight as thousands die each day for the most trivial objectives. The two warring factions refuse to accept anything but total victory over the other. On one side, the Ragnaron People's Army fights to preserve the freedom of the Ragnaronian people. While on the other, the Morgast Confederacy seeks to establish a new and more direct order over the populace. The cracked and scarred surface of the planet is a homage to the intense battles that have taken place between these two armies.

However, after a thousand years of conflict, the planet of Ragnaron could stand it no more.

Its surface shifted and trembled as trenches opened up its mantle to the surface. Volcanic eruptions and super-quakes rocked the planet, destroying its few remaining cities. It soon became clear to both sides that the fate of their world was sealed, and a massive evacuation was put in effect. While the RPA welcomed anyone and everyone aboard their vessels, the Morgast Confederacy took only its military personnel before fleeing the planet and heading to the outer rim of the system. There they set up their new base on the frozen planet of Drogoth, building a fortress that has come to be known as the "Eternal Bastion". The RPA, meanwhile, established a new government, the Ragnaronian Federation, upon their new capital planet of V'ktar. From these worlds the two factions launch ships in all directions. The RPA aims to colonize, the Confederacy, to dominate. Skirmishes are fought every day in both space, as well as upon savage alien worlds.

You are a member of one of these factions. You, along with a small crew, are sent on many missions by your superiors. The question remains, will you help the RPA uphold peace and freedom across the stars, or will you side with the Confederacy, to set the Ragnaronian people on a new path...?

The Ragnaronians are the humans of the Ultross system.

-Sqith-

Sqith are an aquatic species, discovered by Federation colonists on the ocean planet of Kalto. They openly embraced their newfound neighbors, and agreed to assist them in the war against the Confederacy. Their culture is formed around advanced technology.

-Bruluk-

The Bruluk are a short-tempered, but otherwise kindhearted, race of very muscular half-giants. While not too bright, they are fiercely loyal to their friends and would gladly lay down their lives for them. Their culture is formed around spirituality.

RACES (Confederacy)

The Ragnaronians are the humans of the Ultross system.

-Svenghal-

A warlike race of reptilian humanoids. The leading tribes of the Svenghal people have allied themselves with the Morgast Confederacy in exchange for resources.
Their culture is formed around war and spirituality.

-Uzier-

The Uzier are an extremely intelligent, and extremely sinister, race of advanced insectoid beings. The only thing they had not mastered before the arrival of the Confederacy was intergalactic travel. Their race is formed around advanced technology.
