Ksenia played games on her DS while listening to the brothers explain the rules. No technology? This was going to be a long year. She felt a gentle tap on her shoulder and she quickly looked up.
"Hmm?"
"Promise, I'll need to take your little game device here"one of the brothers said, she quickly widened her eyes.
"But I need it"
"For?"
"Stress relief"
"Yeah, no, come on, give it up" he said again. With a sigh she had to save her game and hand it to him. If there is a scratch on my baby, you will burn she thought, a small frown on her face. She was forced to listen to the rest of the speech. Sharing rooms with a guy? That'll be awkward. They were really stressing that they wanted everyone out of their comfort zone. As if she wasn't already uncomfortable enough. The girl with the tattoos looked even more out of her element than anyone else. She was pretty. Sort of looked like one of her friends back in high school. Ksenia only had two tattoos, both easily concealable in a professional setting, which was why she got them. They were more of a middle finger to her parents. A proof of her freedom. Though she really did feel captive to her expectations. She couldn't care less about a stupid family business. The only benefit was the jewelry she got every so often for less. Child psychology was much more appealing to the girl. Without her DS she had to actually talk or at least be around people. She wouldn't call herself anti-social, but people didn't typically like talking to the sad serious girl.
“Looks like we only have one key.” she heard a voice from the side. She looked up and sighed.
"You'd think they give both of us one" she mumbled, getting up from her seat. When he mentioned food, she quickly nodded once again.
"Sounds good" she said, fixing her cardigan that was strangely placed when she sat up . "So your name is River right? I'm Promise. They seemed to think it was funny to give up hippy names as well" she sighed, walking towards the door.

Ksenia rolled her neck. She didn't know how she was going to like this trip. She hoped it would help her gain the confidence to tell her parents no, but at the same time, she didn't know what to expect. She walked to the door and waited for her roommate before she began following signs to the hotel's restaurant.
"So what do you think so far, of this whole thing?" she asked, trying to make slight conversation. Awkwardly she stuck her hands in her cardigan pockets, following the hall signs to the supposed restaurant.

Ryan leaned back an forth on his feet while the two brothers explained the rules. He was glad that he took all his notes in a journal - and also glad they weren't confiscating cameras. He had a lot to take photos of he had decided. He looked around the people and took a moment to examine each of them. There was a blonde girl sitting at the table, looking like every other girl he had ever met. The one that peaked his interest was the clearly displeased tattooed gal. She was gorgeous beyond belief, but also different. Not a normal run of the cut person. Ryan always liked people with a story, and she had one.

The brothers announced that they would be having coed rooms to "put them out of their comfort zone". Ryan didn't see a huge issue with it. He'd shared rooms with females plenty of times. In his one bedroom home, his sister had people over far too often. Apparently he was partnered with the tattooed girl, and she looked plenty displeased about it.
“Let’s go surfer boy.” he heard the girl apparently nicknamed Rainey say. He chuckled slightly to himself. Surfer boy? That was a new one. He followed quietly behind. He smelled the cigarette she lit, and grinned to see her rebellious nature despite the constant signs. When they got to the hotel room he waited until she would open to door, planning to order food to the hotel room.
