Prologue
There is a warm breeze in the air and a soft auburn colored she-wolf emerges from behind a sunny lighted weeping willow tree. Her eyes glisten amber and her body slim and a bit under weight. Her tongue lolling from her mouth in a soft paint. She had been traveling for months. She had seen the seasons change. And finally it had became summer. She padded softly through the mossy ground, green and full of warmth. Unexpected luck had been her goal. Her luckiness had ran straight out of her months ago when the cold, bitter winter bit her sharply and forced her to stay in a poorly put together den in the middle of a large mountain. She felt the ground fall beneath her and she tumbled down a hill, cutting her paw. "Ack.." she yelped quietly. But, what she saw fulfilled her search. She hadn't expected to create a new pack while in such bad shape, but the land and territory was perfect and protected, so she sat, lifted her muzzle, and began to howl. The howl was sharp, and of claiming territory, also the howl of calling others. What is a pack with one member? Once finished, she stood, smiled, then took a whiff of the pure summer air. "Pure serendipity. . ." She murmured to herself, which sparked the name of the pack. The wolves of Serendipity.
