You have died, and found a single being waiting beyond on what would be considered the other side. However you soon learn you are not to sit it bleak darkness staring outward into the Void, you are being sent back as champions of power. However what you soon learn is that this is both a curse and a gift, as the powers you gain come with their own price. They are your prison as well as your freedom. Some will posses a rage for battle that will always scream to be feed while others will see a need to protect others. Some will fight the urges that come with their power, or simply ignore them, but they will soon find that this is a losing battle.

Days after your rebirth you will be given a vision, that you are to use your power and embrace it's desires, if you grow strong enough you will be granted a true after life and be allowed total peace and harmony and everything you could ever desire, or to rule on Earth as it's master for all time. But it also tells you there are others with power like your own who would take this chance from you, and the only way to stop them is to destroy them.
Now you simply have to choose whether you live by it's rules, or by your own?

Setting: Modern day tech, the World is currently at peace though a few countries have stressed relations. People are happy with their current lives and nations advance and thrive, the world is in a Golden Age.

The Super beings arrival however may change all that, as the world may speculate that you are a new weapon designed by old enemies to wreak chaos unto them. Others will view them as a blessing, protector's who can stop threat's from crime to war from happening ever again. The affairs of the average man may concern some of you, but most will simply view their affairs as a Eagle does a rat skittering through a field.


Types of Power: Your abilities all have a source, such as the Soul of the Protector slowly gains power from keeping people from harm and society merely carrying on, where as the Soul of Chaotic draws power from the opposite, tearing the society apart piece by piece and innocent by standers with it.

Protector:Gains power from people living in peace without stress, generally stops criminals and thugs from harming the innocent and grows in power quickly in times of peace, but it also gains power from defeating the ones who threaten society and it's citizens.

Chaotic: Gains power from people living in despair and chaos, it's purpose is to make criminals actions more and more violent and disruptive, and to commit such acts that tear the society apart. It also gains power from turning innocent people into darker more self centered individuals and disrupting common life.

Other examples will be posted later on in the games threads or updated into here, though you can easily make your own and submit it, then you make a character around this concept.
