Introduction

The Field.

You are asleep, but you cannot open your eyes, the dream consists of nothing except you and a British male. His voice young and American, but his features were old. He had a cane, but it seemed he didn't even need it, his posture was fantastic and his old man eyes a soft brown.

In the dream:

"Hello, welcome to the dream world. My name is not important, but you may call me... Operator or just Op will do." He walked around you as you stood. The dream showed both of you, as if you weren't you, but you were watching you. He spoke as a faint song played in the background [Link at bottom of Intro].

"Nothing you should worry of about me. I am here to make your life a little interesting. I know what you are thinking, 'How can a man in a blazer and jeans make my life interesting?' Well here is how."

The entire time, you stayed quiet and kept to yourself whilst he spoke. He told you the rules [In the rules section if you didn't read it]. He told you of the events that may or may not happen.

"There are many challenges. In the challenge they give you a list of options and you must win the challenges. The challenges go on until there is either one person left standing or no one left standing. BUT... If there seems to be that everyone passes many of the challenges... one must sacrifice their own self in the very end. If not, you all die. There are ten of you together. Now let me explain your setting."

He sat on a patch of grass that you didn't notice had appeared out of no where. "The Field. It is a white room with absolutely no windows, no doors, no kitchen, no bedroom and one... just one bathroom. For the ten of you. The floors and the walls are florescent lighting with a thin layer of plexiglass, like I explained before... don't try to escape. The ceiling, on the other hand, it is made of drywall and other material, that cannot be said. Each day, you will get the feeding we provide and nothing else. Kind of like the short story, 'The Pit and the Pendulum'. The Field turns into anything Them and They put it to be. It can go from a white room to an entire island or an ocean, but keep in mind you can die."

He smiled and picked at the grass. "The challenges are easy. You are given a choice of weaponry, animal, and another object of your choice, bringing people into The Field is not a valid choice. Understand this. You cannot leave The Field unless the challenges are finished."

He stood up walking away. "If there is something you do not understand... Just sleep and I will answer your questions."

As he fades, you wake up. You feel warm as your mind feels dazed and you adjust your eyes to the white lights surrounding you. You look around you and you see nine other people. What will you do to survive?

Caitlyn smiled while giving the girl before her a lollipop. "Now that seals it. Waaah, now that I think about I have been sealing promises with lollipos since elementary school. Guess I need to find a new way.Haa,so troublesome...." She let out a sigh but grinned immediately after that. "Ah,by the way,Maybe you'll won't want to because of the position we're in but would you like to be my friend? It's always nice to have an ally, right?"

Kristin rejoiced inwardly. "Yeah, sure! Thanks so much, you have no idea how wonderful it is to hear that!" Realising what she had just said, she covered her mouth quickly. "Sorry. I just... Before this, if I heard those words, I'd think I died and went to Heaven." Smiling sheepishly, she added, "Thanks for the lollipop." She pulled the wrapper off and stuck it in her mouth, offering Caitlyn some coffee in return.

[internet sucks horribly. I am back and I will post when I can. I need times and days people can come on]

A high pitched irritating sound, the speakers, was heard.

The Operator:

"We are back online. Thank you for your patience everyone. Is everything okay? Foods? Drinks?"

Kristin winced. Ouch. She spoke, hoping she didn't sound like a fool. "Yeah, I'm fine."

[[Phew, sorry guys (especially you, happyface)! I've been super busy, but I'm back now :D Let's see. . . I can come on later Friday? Is that too late? Just tell me and I'll see if I can come earlier]]

Brittany smiled happily at her, and the corners of Honovi's mouth tipped upwards in an endearing half-smile. Something about the girl reminded Honovi of a puppy, and her good mood was contagious. "Sure. That would be good," Brittany answered. "So which person are you exactly?" After saying this, however, she seemed to notice that this was a bit of an odd question and asked again, "What did they categorize you as?"

Honovi tilted her head to the side in confusion. "Categorize me as. . .?" Then, remembering what they has told her when she'd first come, she answered, "Ah, I am the Competative One. And you?"

Honovi's smile made Brittany's widen, if that was possible. Brittany watched confusion go to the girls face, her tilting it to the side. Categorize me as. . .? she said. Brittany was about to answer her when she seemed to understand the question. "Ah, I am the Competative One. And you?" She heard her say. A slight blush of embarrassment can to her face. "The average one I guess... I don't really know what that means though. " She gave a slight shrug, giving out a tiny laugh.

Caitlyn thankfully accepted the coffee but almost let it fall when she suddenly high pitched sound probably coming from the speakers. "We are back online. Thank you for your patience everyone. Is everything okay? Foods? Drinks?" the sound had returned to normal and the voice that was still rsounding in the room had said those words. Caitlyn stared in silence for a moment upon the few lollipops which had survived her addiction until now she had already eaten almost all of them. "If possible,I would like some more lollipops....Sorry for the trouble." After those words she directed herself towards Kristin again. "At which school where you studying?" (OOC I might not be able to post as frequently as usual. I have exams starting from next weeol friday and I haven't studied anything yet T-T,So I'm already apologizing now for later.)

Kristin stared. "Me? I don't go to school. I got some old textbooks and taught myself during free time at the orphanage. So... I'm probably the least educated here. No big deal. You?"

"Oh,ehm..." Caitlyn hesitated but ended up answering anyway. "...Well,I was studying my last year at the university of Cambridge. I was an exchange Student,I guess. So I'm probably the most educated. But's it's incredible that you taught yourself. Honestly,I probably wouldn't be able to do it...." "Conversations are quite friendly,no enemies yet?" By habit Caitlyn immediatley responded by shaking her head which almost caused her hair to get sticked to the lollipop she was holding. With red cheeks because of the shame she felt because of her automatism. "But you were raised in an Orphan? Ah,sorry if I'm being Noisy."

Kristin shrugged. "Like I said, no big deal. You get used to it." Hearing the voice, she rolled her eyes in the general direction of the sound. "So what, you want enemies in here?" she muttered under her breath.
